Today's new drawing is of two South American Dinosaurs.
English readers... since these animals were from South America
I will be posting this in Spanish and Portuguese as well.
Juvenile Pamparaptor and Adult Argentinosaurus
Pamparaptor was a small raptor dinosaur from Argentina, South America. As an adult, it was between 1.6 and 2.4 feet long. That is between 0.5 and 0.7 meters long. Both of these animals lived in the late Cretaceous Period of the Mesozoic Era. Although Argentinosaurus may have lived a bit before Pampraptor. Both lived in South America as well. This is a drawing of a juvenile Paparaptor hunting a bee. Raptor dinosaurs hatched with sharp little teeth and could probably hunt for insects, small rodents, lizards, etc. right away. Of course, the juvenile Pampasaurus may have been cared for by a parent or parents that brought them fresh meat as well.
Argentinosaurus was possibly the very biggest dinosaur to ever live. It possibly was smaller than Patagotitan. Both lived in South America. Argentinosaurus is estimated to have been up to 110 feet long and weighed 220,000 lbs. or 110 tons. Not pictured here in the top drawing: Patagotitan may have been up to 122 feet or 37 meters long. There is a bit of a debate over which huge Sauropod was bigger, Patagotitan or Argentinosaurus.
In the top drawing, there is also a South American Ptrerosaur or flying reptile flying over the river. and hunting for fish, (probably Argentinadraco). There are some drawings from older posts below. All drawings today are of South American animals from the Mesozoic Era.
If you think about it. . . it is rather funny. This top drawing shows one of the biggest and one of the smallest dinosaurs of South America!
