The new drawing is 

of a pair of Mesozoic animals.  

The big one is a Sauropod and 

the little one is one of the largest mammal

of the Mesozoic Era.  

The mammal was named Repenomamus.

Repenomamus and Sauropod are Freinds 

Sauropods were the largest land animals ever to live.  They lived in the Mesozoic Era.  So they were the biggest dinosaurs of the Mesozoic Era. This Sauropod would have to be a younger one.  OR some Sauropods were only the size of a couple of elephants.  Some were as heavy as 17 African elephants. 

Repenomamus was the largest mammal of the Mesozoic Era.  It was about the size of a badger.  It was about a yard or around a meter long and weighed 31 pounds at most.  That is 14 kilograms.  Mammals in the Mesozoic Era were successful, but they had a niche of being rather small.  In fact VERY small.  Most were smaller than Repenomamus.  By the way, Reepnomamus was a predator.  It probably fed on smaller mammals and lizards etc.  It might have targeted untended dinosaur nests and small or very young dinosaurs as well.  Repenomamus lived in the early Cretaceous Period about 125 million -130 million years ago.  It lived in China.  So I will post this in Chinese as well. 

This cartoon drawing shows the two species as friends.  In fact, some species in the wild today will have a symbiotic relationship where essentially they are friends.  Ravens and Wolves come to mind. Ravens will find a wounded animal and guide the wolf pack to the meal.  AND wolves and ravens have been filmed playing together.  That sounds like friendship to me.

Three Possible Stealth Fighters coloring pages

Today's 3 new drawings are of possible Stealth Fighters.

F-15STL Possible Stealth Fighter

The F-15 is a twin-engine fighter aircraft with the best air-air fighting record in the jet age.  This drawing is a possible version of the jet with great modification of the F-15 design to make it a stealth aircraft.  It would have the capability to carry missiles and bombs inside the fuselage.  This would help enhance stealth performance.  The F-15STL would be a high-performance and very fast fighter jet with stealth abilities.  ("STL" stands for "stealth.")  By the way, I drew this jet above the clouds because the current F-15EX has a flight ceiling of 60,000 feet or over 18,000 meters.  

F-16STL Possible Stealth Fighter

The F-16 is the most built and most deployed fighter jet in the world.  In this modification, the inlet is built differently and there is a bay below to carry ordinance internally to enhance stealth performance.  So the F-16STL would be a stealth version of the F-16.  It would be a very capable and very maneuverable fighter jet.  It has a V shaped horizontal stabilizer intead of just one "rudder."   ("STL" stands for "stealth.")

F-23SE Possible Stealth Fighter

The YF-23 is a twin-engine fighter craft that barely lost the competition for a stealth fighter. The F-22 won that competition.  This proposed version of the YF-23 is called an F-23SE... so it would be a SINGLE engine jet fighter. ("SE" stands for "single engine.") It would maintain several features of the YF-23 but be less expensive to build and less expensive to operate.  

None of these are actual fighter jets.  They are just my ideas of what possibly COULD  be done.  However, the US military is busy designing a 6th generation fighter jet that is what will actually be built.  It is called NGAD for Next Generation Air Defense.

I want to note that pyramids, even tiny pyramid shapes help absorb radar waves.  Also, certain paints like some with microscopic metal balls can help absorb radar.  Angles like V horizontal stabilizers in the tail help deflect radar waves.  These aircraft would use these and other technologies to help enhance the aircraft.

Zacchaeus climbs a Tree to see Jesus coloring page

Today's second new drawing is of Zacchaeus.

He was the man who climbed a tree to see Jesus.

Zacchaeus climbs a Tree to see Jesus

Zacchaeus was a good man.  But the Jewish leaders and many of the other people in Jericho despised him because he worked for the Romans as a tax collector.  But he was honest and also generous with his wealth.  He gave half his income to help the poor.  Zacchaeus was actually chief among the publicans so he was the leader of the tax collectors. 

So, Jesus (who knew everything) knew that Zacchaeus was a good man.  And Zacchaeus really wanted to see Jesus as the Savior was walking by.  But Zacchaeus was a short man.  He could not see over the crowd.  So he chose to climb a sycamore tree to get sight of Jesus.  

Jesus looked up at him and announced that He, Jesus was coming to Zacchaeus' house.  Zacchaeus was thrilled!  He told Jesus about how he was honest and gave so much to the poor.  Jesus said that salvation had come to Zacchaeus' house.  

I think this is a beautiful story.  Jesus often condemned selfish and/or dishonest rich people, but Zacchaeus was not selfish.  He was a truly GOOD man.  So Jesus honored Zacchaeus by going to his house... and blessing Zacchaeus and his entire household I'm sure.  It just goes to show that there can be rich people who are good and others who are not.  

Of course that goes for everybody.  There are poor people who are honest and others who choose a life of crime etc. And people of any class can choose to follow the Savior or not.  But the eternal rewards of following the Savior are very much worth it.  Eternal life and eternal glory - living with our righteous Earthly family members AND our eternal family members - living with our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother... are blessings that make the riches and glory of the world a minor thing. People of all levels of prosperity can choose to be generous with their worldly goods, their time, and their service to others.  They will be blessed for those things.

Triceratops horridus feeding coloring pages

 Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

I am guessing that there are around 2800 coloring page 

drawings that I have drawn myself.

Today's new drawing is of a well-known dinosaur 

called Triceratops.

Triceratops horridus

Triceratops horridus was the largest and now most well-known Ceratopsian dinosaur from the late Cretaceous Period of the Mesozoic Era.  It was a big herbivorous dinosaur, although nowhere near the size of the huge long-necked Sauropods.  Triceratops horridus was around 30 feet or 9 meters long and weighed more than 12 tons.  

John Horner, the famous paleontologist, has a theory that the mature Triceratops had forward-facing horns.  It was previously thought that there were two species of Triceratops but Dr. Horner thinks that the Triceratops skulls with angled up horns were sub-adults.  The skulls with forward-facing eyebrow horns were full-sized and sexually mature adults.  

Some paleontologists think that Triceratops' horns were just for sexual display.  Personally, I think that is absolute nonsense  A mature Triceratops had horns as long as broom handles.  Those forward-facing horns would have been a good defense.  PLUS Triceratops had a ball joint at its neck.  It could probably swing those double-brow horns around like a pair of swords.  So although the horns were probably for sexual display, I feel that they most certainly were for defense as well.  T. rex DID prey on Triceratops.  but probably the old and young and ill were the victims.

Emilia the Butterfly Fairy and other Butterfly Fairy coloring pages

Today's new drawing is of a beautiful

Butterfly Fairy.   

Emilia the Butterfly Fairy

Emilia is a Butterfly Fairy.  She has magical powers and can communicate with all species of butterflies and even moths.  She is seen here with rather small wings because she has used her magic to make them temporarily smaller.  The symbol on her flying belt is a Fairy Symbol.  Emilia, like most Fairies, uses a Flying belt to fly great distances and to fly at high speed.  She can magically enlarge her wings and fly without the Balteus Volum or flying belt, but she needs the flying belt to cover a large area in a short time.  This allows her to keep watch over a great deal of butterflies and their habitat.  

Butterfly Fairies are among the most beautiful of all Fairies.  They are also known for their kindness to all living creatures.  But of course, they really love the butterflies!  Of course, SOME Fairies choose to live or just work in the mortal world.  These disguised Fairies have magically internalized their wings.  Some of these disguised Butterfly Fairies have a butterfly tattoo and that tends to identify them.  But of course, most mortals don't know that.  

Emilia is not in her natural 5 inches tall or so form.  Like all Fairies, she can change her size from as small as a quarter inch to as big as an NBA Center.  Here she is choosing to be about 10 inches high as she greets her butterfly friend.

Today's new drawing is of a Wizard on a Mountaintop.

I have drawn all but about 5 of these drawings. 

Those 5 were done by a grand-nephew and two grand-nieces.

Wizards often carry a staff with a magical crystal.  They can channel their magic with the crystal.  The presence of the crystal will actually transfer some magic to the staff itself.  No wizard will travel without their staff.

This is a grebe mother with two grebettes.  A grebette is what a baby grebe is called.  Grebes are a type of medium-sized waterbird or waterfowl.  We have those types of birds here in Utah, USA.  Mother grebes are known to carry their grebettes on their back.

Jesus as the Good Shepherd or Parable of the Good Shepherd and Jesus Heals a Blind Man coloring pages

 Today's new drawings on this free coloring pages blog were 

both drawn partly in church today and last Sunday. 

I just put on the finishing touches. 

The first one is of 

Jesus as the Good Shepherd and it also illustrates 

the Parable of the Lost Sheep.

The second drawing is of when Jesus healed the blind man by anointing his eyes with clay.

Jesus as the Good Shepherd or Parable of the Lost Sheep

Jesus tells the story of the lost sheep.  It is a parable story so it teaches a lesson to those who are willing to learn from the parable.  Jesus tells of how the good shepherd will go after a lost sheep.  He also says that in Heaven there is much rejoicing over the one soul that repents!  This tells us that God WILL forgive and we will be welcomed back into His fold.  

I am personally grateful for forgiveness.  God gave us His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to teach us and to pay the eternal price for our sins so that we all could return to live with our Heavenly Parents one day.  I am soooooo grateful for this!

My wife (Laurel) looked at this picture and told me to add the flock of sheep in the distance and I realized that it was a very good idea.  I know my drawings are not perfect but I use the talent that I have to hopefully serve others.  We should never be afraid to share our talents and we should NOT worry about there being someone else who is better at it than us.  I know that there are many better artists but I choose to use my talent to bless others and myself... because drawing distracts me from the pain I often am in.  

The parable of the lost sheep to me also says that each and every one of us is VALUABLE as a child of God.  We all can contribute in our own way toward making the world a better place.  The lost sheep of the world have talents and skills that they can use to benefit others.  They are NEEDED in God's flock!

Jesus heals a Blind Man by anointing his Eyes with Clay

This depicts an amazing story.  Jesus heals a man who was blind since birth.  Jesus makes clay and anoints the blind man's eyes and tells him to go wash his eyes.  When the man does this he is healed and can see for the first time in his life.  

His parents are taken before (presumably) the Sanhedrin Council and then healed man is dragged before the Sanhedrin Council as well.  In front of the council, this formerly blind man who was a former beggar stands up for Jesus.  The Pharisees are upset that Jesus healed on the Sabbath. One accuser says that Jesus is a sinner and the man says basically that a sinner can't open the eyes of a blind man.  The council throws the formally blind man out but Jesus finds him and tells him that He, Jesus, is the Messiah.  It is an amazing experience... and an amazing true story.  I think that the blind man was probably fairly young.  And as a beggar, he had been at the very bottom of the social ladder.  Yet he stood up to the council (who were at the top of the social ladder) and the healed young man defended Jesus.  The man was so very brave. 

In a way, the blind man had been a lost sheep.  He had to beg for his living.  He was at the bottom of the social ladder.  Jesus was the Good Shepherd that healed him.  I have been blessed by blessings that have prolonged my life well past my expiration date.  I am so grateful for the power of priesthood blessings.  Yet remember that the Parable of the Lost Sheep is more about Jesus healing us from our sins and welcoming us back into the fold.

Caritas the Warrior Elf coloring page

Warrior Elf or She-Elf named Caritas.

Caritas the Warrior Elf

Caritas is a beautiful and loving elf.  Indeed, her name means Charity in English.  But she is also a strong She-Elf.  She is powerful and skilled in defending her loved ones in the Elven Realm.  In fact, she is actually a Wood Elf and she lives in the forest with her people and her family.  

We see Caritas standing by a river with the woods in the background.  She wilds an Elven sword and she has a small Elven shield.  The word on her shield is Elvish for "Love" - which in another way to say her name

Alyssiah the Water Dragon Fairy coloring page

Alyssiah is a beautiful Water Dragon Fairy.  She is caring for a Water Dragon egg.  Fairies and Dragons have a symbiotic relationship.  Fairies take care of Water Dragon eggs until the baby Water Dragon hatches.  Then the mother Dragon returns and the baby is cared for by her.  The Fairy benefits because she or he gets to keep the Dragon eggshell.  Those Dragon eggshells have magical powers. The Fairies use the Dragon egg shells in their most powerful magical charms.

Our youngest granddaughter is into bunnies right now and she keeps asking me to draw a bunny family with a baby bunny, a mommy bunny, and a daddy bunny.  This is a simple quick ink drawing that I did during church two weeks ago.
