Barefoot Elves and Barefoot She-Elves coloring pages

Welcome to my free Coloring Pages Blog

Today's new drawing is of a Young Barefoot She-Elf in Training

Young Barefoot She-Elf

Since Elves can live for centuries, you see less that we might call youth.  But they do exist.  The Wood Elves train up their children to be able to help defend their realm.  This is a young She-Elf or female adolescent elf.  She is in training out in the forest.

Barefoot Elves are Elves that are part Hobbit.  They are a whole subgroup among mostly the Wood Elves.  They are quiet and excellent shots with a sling or bow or even throwing a stone.  They are also rarely seen with shoes.  They don't have oversized feet like Hobbits, but they do have the tough soles on their feet like Hobbits so they can manage bare feet in the forest.  They also tend to be shorter than most Wood Elves.  They are not as small as Hobbits - but just a little taller than Dwarves.

Barefoot Elves are not heavily built like Dwarves, but have a lithe frame and usually wear extra light or limited armor.  They are excellent scouts that help keep the forest free of evil things like Orcs.  They can run very fast and very skillfully through the forest on their bare feet to alert other Elves of the danger.  This is interesting how fast they can run because with the shorter legs and general smaller body size you would think that Barefoot Elves would be slow runners, but that is not the case.

This young Barefoot Elf is a She-Elf is named Nikkolia.  Her extra light armor is made of Mithril so it is very valuable and extremely durable and light.  Mithril is possibly a form of light but strong silver.  We call it silver in the world of Men but it is probably a separate element from silver or an alloy.  Thorin (the Dwarf King for a short time) called the metal "Silver-Steel so maybe it is a naturally formed alloy of silver, carbon, and Iron (, since steel is made of iron and carbon).
