Dragon Trainer Fairy with Dragon coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a

Dragon Taming Fairy with a Dragon.

Dragon Taming Fairy with Dragon

There are certain Fairies who have a gift for taming Dragons.  Dragons are highly intelligent beings so a Dragon Taming Fairy has to be mentally sharp.  He or she must be able to reason with the Dragon to help change its nature to a kinder and gentler form.  Of course, Dragon Taming Fairies have powerful magic as well.  They can magically restrain an incorrigible Dragon if necessary.

NOTE:  This drawing, in printable form, can be found by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the long list of drawings.  New drawings are always at the bottom of the list.  Some of the earlier drawings actually may not work.  Have fun coloring!

Unicorn vs Forest Troll coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a

Unicorn fighting with a Forest Troll.

This drawing was inspired by a tie clip that

a fellow church member was wearing today at church.

Unicorn Tie Clip that inspired today's drawing.

Notice the similarities?

Unicorn vs Forest Troll

Unicorns are often defenders of the magical world.  Almost all Unicorns are possessors of white magic.  They are the opposite of trolls.  Trolls are almost always evil creatures.  At least the large ones are evil.  Smaller trolls tend to be good magical creatures.

Large trolls have very limited magic that basically helps them hide from mortal eyes.  But a large troll is no match for a Unicorn.  Of course, this large troll is actually a bit small for a forest troll.  But it has an evil heart.  Trolls like this prey upon both other magical creatures and mortal ones as well.  They have an odd fixation of turning a curved knife backward to use it.

Unicorns are, as mentioned, creatures of light.  Their white magic allows them to appear to just be a horse to human eyes.  They also have incredible strength - way more than a horse.  Their horn, in particular, is full of magic.  Unicorns have certain charms that they can cast.  Their horn acts like a powerful wand.  Some of those charms are powerful defensive charms that can knock out or disable a troll.

This Unicorn is named Marcus.  The Fairies notified him of a troll in the Fairy's enchanted forest.  So Marcus came to deal with the troll.

A few Birds from the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge coloring pages

This is my free coloring pages blog.

This includes over 2700 free and printable coloring pages.

Today's drawings are of birds we have seen at the

Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge near

Brigham City, Utah.

Horned Grebes

(new drawing)

Clark's Grebe with Grebette on Back

(This is a new drawing.  Notice the eye is not in dark feathers.

This indicates that the birds are Clark's Grebes.  The mother is carrying a

grebette on her back.  In fact, some of the photos we took of this family

show that there was another grebette eclipsed by the closer baby grebe.)

Clark's Grebe

(This is an older drawing of a pair of Clark's Grebe.

But I have discovered that these are actually Western Grebes. Oops!

The eye in the dark feathers means these are not

Clark's Grebes but Western Grebes.)

Tundra Swans on a Pond

(We saw these birds at the refuge last year in March.)

Tundra Swans at Farmington Bay

(older drawing)

Wood Duck Mates

(older drawing)

Wood Duck Mother with Duckling

(older drawing)

Mallard Ducks

(older drawing)

NOTE:  These are birds that we have seen on our many trips to the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge.  The refuge is located near where we live.  It is west of Brigham City, Utah.  Our last visit was on Tuesday of this week.  We saw 20+ different species of birds on this trip alone.  17 of the species we had not seen this year.  We are trying for our version of a "big year" where we try to see as many different species of birds as possible for us to see in one year.   We are not super-serious birders so we won't go all out, but we will try to see as many species of birds as we can.  The great movie that got us into "birding was called: The Big Year.  A fellow teacher who was our friend gave us that movie.

I plan to draw more birds from the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge over the next few weeks.  On Tuesday we also saw egrets, stilts, ibis, Cinnamon Teal, and many others.  Eventually, I will add a category to my pages of all the birds we have seen at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge.

To see the printable versions of the new drawings just click on the button labeled, "Birds."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list of drawings.  Older drawings will be further up the list of drawings.   Again, more new drawings of different species will be forthcoming.

Spotted Mermaid named Ali coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog...

or welcome back.

Today's new drawing is of a Spotted Mermaid.

Ali the Spotted Mermaid

Spotted Mermaids are very special.  They care for orphaned leopard seals and young leopard sharks.  I guess they like spotted organisms.  Not pictured here but this type of Mermaid also looks out for eagle rays... because that type of ray also has spots.

Ali is an especially beautiful and very kind Spotted Mermaid.  She HAD been helping the young leopard shark that you see swimming off in the background.  Then she was having a snack off of a tuft of seagrass when this orphaned leopard seal sought her out.

NOTE:  This drawing, in printable form, can be found by clicking on the button labeled: Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list of drawings.  New drawings are at the bottom of the list.  Have fun coloring!

Another Simple Portrait of Jesus coloring page

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is another simple drawing.

It is a simple drawing of Jesus Christ.

Another Simple Portrait of Jesus Christ

We members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints believe that Jesus Christ was and still IS our personal Savior.  He suffered and gave His life to pay the eternal price for our sins.  So His Atonement makes it possible for us to repent of our sins and be FORGIVEN of our sins.

We all lived once as spirit children and spirit brothers and sisters - with our Heavenly Parents and Older Brother Jesus in a Pre-mortal Life.  We were sent to Earth to be tested and tried and to receive a physical body.

After He was crucified and died Jesus' body was encased in a tomb.  Then was resurrected three days later.  He came back to life.   His sprint reunited with his body, although now it was an immortal body.  He kept the scars on his hands and feet and side to testify of His Atoning Sacrifice.

When we die our spirit separates from our physical body.  Then our spirit goes to the Spirit World.   Because of the resurrection of Jesus, we will all be reunited with our bodies in a perfected form during the resurrection.  So to ME that means no tracheotomy tube in my throat when I am resurrected.  AND no more diabetes, heart failure, or tracheal malacia.  Everyone will be resurrected with a perfect body free of mortal impairments.

So it is obvious that we all owe Jesus Christ a LOT!

NOTE:  This drawing, in printable form, is found by clicking on the button labeled "Religious."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the New Testament part of the list.   Have fun coloring this drawing of our Savior.

Unicorn in Southern Utah coloring page

Hi, this is my free coloring pages blog.

As promised, this is a drawing of a more realistic Unicorn on the same

Southern Utah desert background.

Unicorn on Southern Utah Cliff

This Unicorn is a more realistic Unicorn on the same background as the recently posted cartoon Unicorn. Unicorns are known to hang out with Mustang horses in many western states, including Utah.

Of course, Unicorns are far more intelligent than horses but they enjoy the life.  At least they do in the warmer months.  In the winter Unicorns visit Fairy Villages by a friendly Fairy miniaturizing them for the winter.

The dripping shapes on the red rock are actually magnesium stains.  They are generally black.

NOTE: This drawing, in printable form, is found by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list to get to the title of this drawing.  Click on it and you will get the printable drawing.  Have fun coloring.  And look for the cartoon version of this drawing in the previous post or just above this one on the printables list.

A Unicorn in Southern Utah coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

I am sorry I have not posted for a while.

I got really sick.  I AM doing better now.

So, this is a drawing I did most of before I got sick.

It is a cartoony drawing of a Unicorn in my home state of Utah.

In particular, the unicorn is in Southern Utah.

Unicorn in Southern Utah

This unicorn is a cartoon drawing, but I am planning on putting a realistic Unicorn on this background.

Nuget and Yoda the Little Doggies coloring page

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a couple of cute doggies.

Nuget and Yoda the Little Doggies

This is a drawing of two cute little doggies named Nuget and Yoda.  Sadly, Nuget has crossed the rainbow bridge into the next life.  I actually believe that animals have spirits and that we can have our pets again when we get to the Spirit World.  In fact, maybe our pets will be able to talk to us then.

NOTE:  This drawing, in printable form, is found by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll to the bottom of the list of drawings.  New drawings are always at the bottom of the correct list.  Have fun coloring the cute doggies!

Danli the Dwarf & Emiwyn the Elven Princess Wed coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

This blog has around 2,800 free coloring pages

that you can print for coloring.

I apologize that I have not posted in several days.

As some of you know, I have a tracheotomy and my 2-year-old granddaughter

accidentally pulled it out so I had some complications from that.

But I am fine now so here is today's post.

It is of a newly married couple who remarkably are a

Dwarf Warrior and an Elven Princess.

Their names are Danli and Emiwyn.

Danli and Emiwyn get Married

This is a picture of what was a momentous occasion! A Dwarf and an Elven Princess were married.  This is a very rare event but this couple was a perfect match.  Even their respective families were in favor of the marriage.  This is nice for them, but it was also nice for their respective peoples.  There was previously a rift between the Woodland Elves and the Dwarves.  The rift was healed because of this wonderful marriage of two kind and beautiful people.

Of course, Dwarves and Elves are people, just not quite the same as us mortals.  But since their DNA is compatible, Dwarves, Elves, and Humans are all the same species.  I guess you could call them all sub-species of Man.  Hobbits would also be included in that list, of course.

Now, consider what you would suppose they called the new sub-species that arose from this marriage.  Danli's and Emiwyn's descendants came to be called Dwelves.  A single individual was called a Dwelf.

You might want to look up the writing on Daniel the Dwarvish Warrior's breastplate. it is in Dwarvish runes.
