Kymarah the Young Desert Fairy coloring page

Hello out there!  This is my free coloring pages blog.  I have been on vacation but

I have been busy, so I will be posting two new drawings today.

The first new drawing is on this post.  It is of a Desert Fairy named Kymarah.

Kymarah the Young Desert Fairy

Kymarah is a young Desert Fairy.  She is seen here in diminutive or Fairy size.  She is friendly with the ladybug or Lady Bird Beetle.  Kymarah is standing in the grass.  The grass is nearly as tall as she is.  The Desert Fairies, like many Fairies, like to make clothing out of plant matter.  Kymarah loves to make things with her hands out of the natural things she finds in the desert.  She made her plant-based outfit.

Kymarah loves to read.  Yes, Fairies read.  They have their own writers and literature but they also love good mortal writing as well.  Desert Fairies love to dance and Kymarah is no exception in this.  Her name means unique beauty.  Kymarah is a somewhat shy but brilliant young Fairy.

Remember that Fairies have both Fairy Magic and high tech that far outshines what we mere mortals possess.  Kymarah can transform herself to full mortal size... about 5 feet tall . . . or to Fairy size, about 5 INCHES tall.  In fact, she can transform herself to any size in between mortal and Fairy size.

NOTE:  This drawing, in printable form, can be found by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list for the printable drawing.  Then click on the title and you will get the printable drawing.

UPDATE:  The model for this drawing, who is only 9 years old, has sent me photo of a colored version of the drawing... that she colored.  Here it is down below:

Fairies with Unicorns coloring pages

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a kind Fairy giving an apple to a Unicorn.

This will be my last post for a few days because my wife and I are going to our

nephew's graduation in Southern Utah.

Fairy gives a Unicorn an Apple

I expect you would agree that most Fairies are friendly with Unicorns.  This is true because Unicorns and MOST Fairies are beings of light.  This means that they are magical beings that only use white magic or magic of light.  They avoid dark magic.

Fairies are so friendly with Unicorns that often a Fairy, at the Unicorn's request, will transform the Unicorn into diminutive size so the Unicorn can spend the winter underground in the Fairy Village Gree.  Fairies hollow out areas under certain trees and use magic to keep it light as day and build their village there under the tree.  These villages are kept warm and dry and Unicorns like to spend winters there with their Fairy friends.

Here the Fairy is giving an apple to a young Unicorn.  This Fairy is not at the five-inch Fairy size, nor is she at full mortal size.  She is in between those sizes.  Fairies can transform into any size they wish between one inch and 108 inches tall or so.

This drawing, in printable form, is found by clicking on the button labeled Fantasy, Myths, and Circus.  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list to see the title of the newest drawing.  Click on the title to get a printable page to color.

Below are a few other Unicorn and Fairy drawings I have done and posted in the past.  These drawings are on the printables list...  but further up the list.

Tyrannosaur Parenting coloring pages

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog!

Today's new drawing is a cartoon drawing of a mother Tyrannosaurus rex

or T. rex carrying her chick in her mouth.

T. rex Mommy takes her Chick for a Walk

(This is a simpler drawing for younger kids to color.)

There is some evidence that Theropods were good parents.  Baby Theropods in eggs (fossilized of course) were found in Portugal and they clearly could not care for themselves when hatched.  So, even though a T. rex might have weighed up to 18,000 lbs. it may have been a tender parent.  The modern members of the crocodile family often carry their young in their mouth so this mother T. rex is holding her chick in her mouth.  There were actually several species of Tyrannosaurs.  Albertosaurus was one of them.  A pack of Albertosaurus - that died together, is evidence that the Tyrannosaurs lived and hunted together in packs.  A pack of Tyrannosaurs is called a "Terror of Tyrannosaurs."

NOTE:  This drawing, in printable form, can be found by clicking on the button labeled Paleontology and then scroll down to the bottom of the Mesozoic section of the lists.  The NEW drawings are at the bottom of the corrected list in this blog.  There are a few other Tyrannosaur parents coloring pages below.  They are from previous posts.  .   .  so their printable version will be further up the list.

Sheryl Crow as a Music Fairy coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog!  Today's new post was inspired by the music video

of a Sheryl Crow song called:  Soak Up The Sun.  My granddaughter and I are obsessed with this song!

We really enjoy the positive message of the song.

So I decided to draw Sheryl Crow. . . as a Music Fairy.

The drawing is actually based on her in the video, however, with the face being so small in the drawing

I did not capture her beauty.  But she is an amazing person and

so her true beauty could not be captured in a drawing anyway.

So here is the drawing.  .   .   .

Sheryl Crow as a Music Fairy

I want to say again that this drawing is based on Sheryl Crow in her Soak Up The Sun video.  However, the face likeness is not exact and could not be done exact with a drawing this size.  (I may draw her again another day only draw her larger.)   Sheryl Crow is an amazing person who I admire.  Her music is inspiring to me and my granddaughter and millions of other people.  I recently kind of rediscovered her song:  Soak Up The Sun.  My 5-year-old granddaughter loves to put the song on and dance to it.  I started to listen to the words and they are awesome!

Sheryl Crow co-wrote the song with co-worker Jeff Trott.  She was in pain and recovering from some kind of surgery and she decided to write a song to help her feel better.  She is impressive.  In the song, her character is poor but choosing to be positive and spread the love.

Let me tell you about Music Fairies.  You probably picture a Music Fairy playing the flute.  True, Music Fairies often prefer playing Fairy flutes.  These are hauntingly beautiful in their sound.  Some mortals will be entranced when they hear a Fairy flute playing at night, in the deep forest.  But some Music Fairies love the mortal world as well.  They play any number of musical instruments.  There are obviously some who play guitar.

Some of these Music Fairies will transform into mortal size and many of our music stars are actually Fairies in disguise.  Some of the mortal music stars are descended from Fairies who married a mortal.  There are many ways that the Fairies disguise themselves.  They have charms that can either hide or transform their ears to look non-pointy.  Sheryl Crow uses this type of charm... IF she is one of these Fairies in disguise.  She doesn't need to use the charm all the time because often her ears are hidden under her hair.  Notice that you do not see any pointed ears in this drawing.

Music Fairies can live anywhere.  Some love the beach, some love the forest, some live high up in mountains, some are found along rivers and waterways.  But all of the Music Fairies love music and love to perform for both mortals and Fairies.  What's more, many animals like to hear Fairy music, so they will come to listen.  In this drawing Sheryl Crow as a Music Fairy, in her diminutive Fairy size, is playing in the sand and a mouse and butterfly have come to listen.  This might be sand in the desert, or sand on a beach.

Another unique thing that only a few Fairies can do is transform their wings to match the wings of the nearby flying animals.  Sheryl saw the butterfly coming and so she transformed her wings to match the wings of the butterfly.

NOTE:  This drawing, in printable form, is found by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus" and then scrolling down to the bottom of the list.  Click on the title and you get the printable version of the drawing.

Aurina the Barefoot Elf who wears Boots and some other Barefoot Elf coloring pages

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog!

Today's new drawings are of a Barefoot Fairy who would rather wear boots.

Aurina the Barefoot Fairy who wears Boots

(New Drawing)

(I posted the first drawing this morning and then drew the next drawing during the day today.)

Aurina the Barefoot Fairy running in the Forest sees a Red-legged Partridge

(New Drawing)

The Barefoot Elves are known for NOT wearing shoes or boots, however, there always seems to be an exception to the rule.  Aurina is that exception.  She wears boots, albeit soft boots so she can still feel the forest floor quite well.  She is a scout Elf or She-Elf who is also an archer.  She is very skilled with the bow and arrow.  She is wearing only light mostly chain mail armor.  Barefoot elves wear light armor in order to be able to move fast through the woods and still have some armor protection.

Aurina is a lovely Elf who would rather be spending time with family and friends, but she knows that all Elves must do their duty.  There are sometimes incursions into the forest and those incursions are sometimes from trolls, orcs, and giant spiders.

In this drawing we see Aurina pinning her hair back before she goes on forest patrol.  She has very long and lovely hair and it tends to fly behind her as she runs through the forest... but she liked to keep her hair pinned away from her eyes so she can see where she is going and see any possible threats.

Where did Barefoot Elves come from?  I will tell you.  The below is from a previous post about Barefoot Elves:

Barefoot Elves are descended from the union or marriage of Brimley and Arwina thousands of years ago.  Brimley was an early Hobbit... or you could say Protohobbit.  Arwina was an Elf Princess.  Their children were raised in the Elf community of Rivendell and so they married Elves.  Through the years these descendants came to be known as Barefoot Elves.  They are incredibly sure-footed and are adept at keeping themselves hidden.  The Barefoot Elves tend to have slightly shorter legs than other Elves.   Most of the Barefoot Elves eventually moved to Mirkwood and lived among the Wood Elves.  So now most of the Barefoot Elves are considered a type of Wood Elf.  Barefoot Elves tend to have shorter legs, especially shorter shin bones. In fact, Barefood Elves are generally shorter than other Wood Elves. And yet they are extremely agile and fast runners who can run through the forest almost soundlessly.

In the days of the Orc Wars, the Barefoot Elves were used as scouts.  Nowadays the Barefoot Elves are still lookouts near Elf villages.  If you have never seen an Elf it is probably because Barefoot Elves spotted you first and sounded the alarm. In our modern times, which is the Age of Men, Elves live underground and inside large trees and they prefer to remain concealed from most mortals.  However, the Barefoot Elves tend to live in concealed treehouses in the branches of trees.

The Barefoot Elves wear only light armor and rarely wear shoes.  They have tough Hobbit-like feet, yet their feet are not slightly oversized nor furry like a Hobbit's foot.  Even at a young age, these Barefoot Elves train with their parents for lookout duty.

Barefoot Elves have retained much of the fun-loving nature of their Hobbit ancestors.  They can use a concealment charm so we mortals can not see their pointed ears so they often will go to mortal or human parks and even our towns to live among us.  They especially like our parks and playgrounds. We don't see them as anything other than humans.  Most of these mortal dwelling Barefoot Elves only stay among us part-time.  They like to return to the peace of the Elf Villages.

So, since Barefoot Elves are part Hobbit and part Elf... as you might expect, they have somewhat shorter legs than most Wood Elves and they tend to be shorter than other Elves.

Concerning the second new drawing... A Red-legged Partridge is a mostly ground-dwelling bird of Europe.  Red-legged Partridges were introduced to the United Kingdom in the 1700s.  They now live in many parts of the UK... especially in the Eastern regions.  The Red-legged Partridge is a gamebird and is a member of the pheasant family.

NOTE:  To print these drawings just click on the "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus" button up top.  Then scroll down to the bottom for the new drawing of Aurina.  Below this paragraph is a few drawings of other Barefoot Fairies from previous posts.  These older drawings, in printable form, are found further up in the list of printable drawings.  The new drawings will actually be at the bottom of the list.

So... these drawings below are from older posts and were drawn a while back.

Young T. rex vs a Wildfire - and a few other Tyrannosaur coloring pages

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a young Tyrannosaurus rex facing off with a wildfire.

Young T. rex vs a Wildfire

Tyrannosaurus rex, also called T. rex, was the last and biggest of the Tyrannosaurs.  There were many Tyrannosaurs throughout the Cretaceous Period of the Mesozoic Era.  The Tyrannosaurs were the top predators of the Late Cretaceous Period in both North America and Asia.  Their distinguishing features include two-digit hands, a large skull, a powerful bite, & many serrated somewhat banana-shaped teeth.

Some of the types of Tyrannosaurs include... Nanotyrannus, Lythronax, Teratophoneus, Nanuqsaurus, Bistaheiversor, Tarbosaurus, Albertosaurus, Zhuchengtyrannus, Gorgosaurus, Daspletosaurus,  Albertosaurus, and of course Tyrannosaurus rex.

Tyrannosaurus rex was the largest of the Tyrannosaurs and was up to 44 feet or over 13 meters long and weighed possibly as much as 9 tons.  That means they COULD get so big that they would have been quite slow.  Some paleontologists have hypothesized in the past that T. rex was a scavenger, not a predator.

Then young Tyrannosaurs were found.  (fossils of Tyrannosaurs who died young)  These fossils showed that the younger Tyrannosaurs were built much lither and could have been the prey chasers of the pack of Tyrannosaurs.  The discovery of more than one family group of Tyrannosaurs - that obviously died and therefore lived together - has boosted the theory that Tyrannosaurs were pack hunters.

In fact, the evidence is so obvious that Tyrannosaurs lived in groups that there is now a term for a pack of Tyrannosaurs.  They are called a "Terror of Tyrannosaurs."  IF you are a birder or into Nature and Animals you might know that there are specific terms for a group of some species.  For instance... a murder of crows.... a banditry of chickadees... a pod of whales... a pride of lions... a school of fish... a convocation of eagles... a pack of wolves... etc.  So a terror of Tyrannosaurs makes perfect sense!

This evidence of pack behavior, and the way younger Tyrannosaurs were lighter and obviously faster runners... has some paleontologists thinking that Tyrannosaurs WERE hunters and not scavengers.  Yes, they probably did not pass up a free meal.  But now it is also thought that young members of the terror would flush out the prey species and chase them into an ambush where the huge Alpha male and Alpha female of the terror waited to ambush and kill the prey.

This drawing was done using a new toy T. rex that I recently purchased for my grandson.  Below is a photo of this toy.  I did not draw it exactly, but it WAS my basic model for the drawing.  My grandson got ahold of the page when I was not finished drawing but had to run to the store.  When I got back home my grandson had drawn scribbles on the bottom that looked a bit like fire, so I decided to enhance his lines and make this a photo of Young T. rex vs a Wildfire.

If you want you could decide my "fire" is actually just more grass in from of the dinosaur.  So you would color the "grass" near the T. rex a beige color to represent dry grass. There WERE several species of grass in the Late Cretaceous.  That was not previously known but paleontologists found five species of grass seed in Hadrosaur coprolites.  That means duck-bill dinosaur droppings.  Actually, if you decide to color this as a wildfire up at the front of the page... then you could color the "grass" beige and then add your own orange or/and red-orange fire.  Or you could consider the lines at the front to be fire.  Then you'd color them orange or red-orange etc.  Also... I did not add smoke so if you are coloirn in fire then use a pencil or gray crayon to color in fire.  You could color the smoke in last after you've colored the dinosaur and all the rest of the picture.  Have fun figuring it out.  Again, I did NOT draw in any smoke because I did not know how you plan to color this drawing.

The Pterosaur in the drawing is a Pteranodon.

NOTE:  This drawing is available, in printable form, by clicking on the button labeled: Paleontology. Then scroll down to the bottom of the Mesozoic part of the list to see the title of this drawing.  If you click on the button you will get a printable page that you can print and color.

Savaniah the Healer Fairy gathers Watercress coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is a Fairy Healer named Savaniah.

Savaniah the Healer Fairy gathers Watercress

Savaniah is actually working on becoming a Healer Fairy.  Part of her duties includes gathering helpful herbs for the Master Fairy Healer to use.  Of course, the gathering and much of the herb preparation is done by the Master Fairy Healer's assistants.

Savaniah is a people person... or you could also say a "Fairy Person" in that she's friendly and truly cares about her fellow beings.  The interesting thing about Savaniah is that she is choosing to live a double life.  She spends time in the Fairy World on weekends... but she is studying to become a nurse in the mortal world during the week.  Some very intelligent Fairies choose to attend mortal college and learn mortal knowledge.  Their true identity is almost always unknown to most mortals, but you can sometimes spot them because they are particularly beautiful and also particularly caring about others.

Savaniah is working a job in the medical field as she studies Nursing in mortal college.  She also is studying with the Fairy Master Healer on weekends.  She may meet and marry a mortal and choose to live in the mortal world, but she will probably eventually, with her husband, retire in the local Fairy village that is located near a beautiful mountain lake about 33 miles from where she is attending mortal university.  I would not be surprised if she chooses to go on to become a nurse practitioner or even attend medical school.  Fairies are actually often very very intelligent.

The watercress that you see Savaniah gathering is important more in disease prevention than disease treatment.  Watercress has been shown to be very dense in its nutrients.  It is high in many vitamins and minerals.  It helps prevent the onset of cancer, lowers high blood pressure, and has vitamins that are very good for eyesight.  Watercress is high in antioxidants that can lower your chance of getting a chronic disease.  In fact, it has been suggested that the Fairy long life span may be because most Fairies eat lots of watercress.  Watercress is also good for your heart. The minerals and vitamin K help prevent osteoporosis.  The high vitamin C content in watercress can help boost the immune system.  There is also some evidence that watercress can boost physical or athletic performance and assist people to lose weight.

Fairy Healers use watercress as an actual dense nutrient treatment for the rare Fairy patient with a chronic disease.  Also, elderly Fairies, the ones that are well over 500, sometimes need an infusion of watercress to keep their health.

You might be surprised to learn that watercress is native to the OLD world or Europe and Asia.  It has been imported to pretty much all the other inhabited continents.  It is sometimes considered an invasive species or non-native weed.  I will admit that, but I am happy that it was imported to North America.  My mom making fresh watercress bread and butter sandwiches,,,  is one of my favorite childhood memories.  We usually ate her homemade whole wheat bread, but watercress sandwiches were always made with store-bought white bread.  We'd do this while camping or visiting the nearby canyon that had a freshwater spring that was the headwaters of the creek that ran down the canyon.  Watercress grows in shallow and very clean creeks and ponds with moving water.  I can still remember my mom's watercress sandwiches.   MMMMMMMMMMMMMM....

One last thing.  Notice that Savaniah is wearing a flying belt or "Baltaeum Volantes."  The majority of Faries wear flying belts so that they can fly long distances at great speed.  Without the flying belt, a Fairy CAN fly, but not as fast and certainly not as far.  Fairies have very advanced technology and that would probably surprise most mortals.  In fact, Fairies are naturally only about 5 inches or 12.7 cm. tall. . . . (or 5 inches short).  But Fairies have a combination of magic and high tech and thus can transform sizes.  Savaniah, in this drawing, is mortal size and out gathering watercress from the nearby creek up in the mountains near her Fairy village.  Being mortal size helps her gather more watercress.  She will transform to Fairy size when she returns to her village.

IF you noticed Savaniah's unique wings, they are similar to the wings of a mayfly but Savaniah has an extra pair of wings.  All Fairies have wings and each Fairy has wings that are unique to them.  Some Fairies have butterfly-like or moth-like wings.  Some have dragonfly-like wings.  Some Fairies actually have feathered wings.  Also, like many Fairies, Savaniah likes to wear plant-based Fairy clothing when out in the woods in the Fairy Realm.  Fairies can transform the grass and herbaceous leaves to form a type of green cloth that is light and holds up well.  But some Fairies just use a more minor charm to fuse the plant matter to make their clothing.

NOTE:  This drawing, in printable form, can be found by clicking on the button labeled: "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list for the printable drawing.  Have fun coloring!

Esther the Queen before King Ahasuerus coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog?  Today's new post is another drawing of Esther the Queen of Persia.  She is coming before King Ahasuerus and he is lifting his scepter to her to accept her.  I started to draw this in church today.  I wanted to depict a strong woman in honor of Mother's Day. The Holy Bible does not tell us if Esther was ever a mother. . . but presumably she did have children.

Esther the Queen before King Ahasuerus

The story of Esther is an amazing story of how the Lord sometimes puts people in exactly the right place at the right time.  This drawing has some of what I hope are historical accuracies.  The King's crown and robes, the Queen's crown and robes, the statures and wall hangings, etc. are all based on research.

Xerxes I depictions I found on the internet are what I used to draw the king's crown and robes.  He was an ancient Persian king.

The statue in the distance, next to the wall, is a depiction of the Persian God of Death named Ahriman.

The large wall-hanging statue is called a relief or a frieze. The frieze in the center of the drawing is a Persian symbol called a Faravahar.  This symbol originated in ancient Mesopotamia or Assyria.  It is said to represent divine power and royal glory, but the meaning of the symbol is debatable.

Upon the shelf - on the left - is a Persian griffin.

The story of Esther is a book in the New Testament and it is a fascinating story.  The Jews were set up by an evil leader and in the end, a very brave Queen Esther, (who was a Benjaminite living with the Jews so associated with them). She was able to trick the evil man, (Haman), and she was able to win out. She had help from her uncle who raised her.  He was a man named Mordecai.  In this drawing Queen Esther has come to the court without being summoned.  If the king does not raise his scepter to the queen then she could be rejected and even executed for coming without being summoned.  But the king loved Esther and raised his scepter.  This drawing captures that moment.

NOTE:  This new drawing, in printable form, can be found by clicking on the button labeled  "Religious."  It is found in the Old Testament section of that list.  It will be at the bottom of that part of the list.  Again, first, click on the button labeled . . . . . . Religious.

Below is an older drawing of Queen Esther before the King along with the story I posted with the drawing.  It is from a previous post over two years ago.  Quite honestly, I have become a better artist since then.  Practice makes perfect!

The story of Esther is about a brave woman, who was a member of a marginalized group, and yet she and her people triumphed over their enemies.

Esther was a Benjaminite among the Jewish captives in Persia.  Her presumably parents were captured or perhaps killed by the Babylonians.  She was an orphan and was under the protection of an older cousin named Mordecai.   Her Hebrew or original name was Hadassah.  During the time of Esther, the Babylonians had been conquered by the Medes and the Persians.

Esther's cousin, Mordecai overheard a plot against the king and reported it and the plot was foiled.  By this time Mordecai was a leader or chief minister in the palace.

The king summoned his wife, Vashti, and she refused to obey him so she was deposed.  Then the king mounted a search among all the fair maidens in his kingdom.  He chose Esther and she became his new wife.  It is important to know that no queen could come to the king in court without being summoned.

Meanwhile, Mordecai refused to bow down to the king's grand vizier, Haman.  So to take revenge the vicious Haman convinced the king, Ahasuerus, that the Jews were trouble makers.  The king authorized Haman to have all the Jews exterminated or killed on a certain date.

  Esther before the King

Mordecai sent a message to Esther in the palace about what was going on.  Esther, a very brave but faithful person gave instructions to have the people fast for her.  Then she went before the king without being summoned.  She was taking a chance to do this, but she had faith.  The king held out his scepter to her and she was not in trouble.  He asked what she wanted and she invited the king and Haman to a feast.  Haman was really into this, thinking he had it made that even the queen liked him.

After the feast, that night, the king could not sleep and asked to have the chronicles read to him.  He was obviously a good ruler who wanted to know what was going on in his kingdom and court.  When he learned of Mordecai reporting a plot and saving the king's life, the king was clearly impressed.  He asked Haman the next day what to do to honor someone.  Haman, thinking HE himself was going to be honored suggested that the person get to wear the king's robes and be paraded with honor in the street.   The king ordered Haman to do this for Mordecai.  Remember that Haman hated Mordecai.  But Haman could not go against the king's orders.

At the next feast Esther revealed to the king that she was a Jew so therefore someone who the wicked Haman wanted to have killed.   King Ahasuerus was so upset he ordered Haman to be hung on the giant gallows he had built to hang Mordecai.  Then Mordecai got all of Haman's property and the job as Prime Minister. / The king canceled the scheduled executions of all Jews and he also authorized the Jews to defend themselves from their enemies.

Today Jews celebrate their deliverance with the annual Feast of Purim.   To this day Jews in what was once Persia are called Esther's Children.

The statues and wall decorations on the Esther drawing are from the Persian ruling era of the Mesopotamian part of the world.

Pictures and Cards for Mother's Day 2021 including a new Turkey Card to color for Mom

 Happy Mother's Day!

My wonderful mother was an artist and she is who got me interested in drawing.

When I first started teaching she came down to Southern California

and taught me how to draw animals!

I remember that she bought our then 3-year-old daughter a toy horse figurine.

Mom put the horse upon the mantle and she taught me how to draw

what I see, not just draw from what was in my head.

Here is the new drawing for today's holiday of Mother's Day!

Remember that a baby turkey is called a chick or a poult.

Mother's Day card Turkey and Poult

My last post was of a more detailed mother turkey but I did not include any chicks or poults.

So here is that drawing too.

Below are some samples of more of my drawings related to mothers.  There are also many more of this

kind of drawing that you can find by clicking on the "Holidays" button and scrolling down to

"Mother's Day."  AND there are other drawings of mother dinosaurs and other animals that you

find by clicking on the "Paleontology" button or the "Animals" button.

By the way, you can often turn a drawing of a cartoon animal

from male to female by just adding eyelashes.

Children could color the drawings or cards and give them to 'Mom" for Mother's Day.
