Spinosaurus caring for Young coloring pages

This is a free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawings of a mother Spinosaurus caring for her chick.

Spinosaurus Mother caring for Her Young Chick

(new drawing)

Theropods were usually the big or small carnivorous dinosaurs.  Evidence from Portugal shows that these dinosaurs hatched with small but sharp teeth but they were tiny.  So the newly hatched juvenile dinosaurs needed parental care.

So, in spite of how huge a Spinosaurus could be... 55 feet long... or almost 17 meters long.  Yet they had the ability to tenderly care for their young.  Since we now know that Spinosaurs lived a crocodile-like lifestyle, and crocs carry their young in their mouth, it is not unreasonable to assume that the parents carried their young in their mouth.

This Spinosaurus has a few protofeathers.  It is now thought that many Theropod dinosaurs had feathers or at least protofeathers.  This may be more true for Theropods from the Cretaceous Period like Spinosaurus.  The correct scientific name for this animal is Spinosaurus aegyptiacus.  It was the largest Theropod we know of.  It may have weighed over 7 tons.

NOTE:  This new drawing in printable form, can be found by clicking on the button labeled "Paleontology."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the Mesozoic section to get the printable page.  Below are some older drawings of  Spinosaurus Theropods caring for their young.  The new drawing is more accurate as far as the head and mouth because I drew it from a photo of the skull.

Jesus Profile Picture coloring page

Today's new drawing on my free coloring ing pages blog is of

Jesus.  It is a profile drawing of Jesus wearing his prayer shawl.

Jesus Profile Picture

Jesus is pictured in a prayer shawl.  He was a practicing Jewish man.  But Jesus fulfilled the law and so the Law of Moses was fulfilled in Him.  So since He became the true sacrifice for our sins, it is no longer necessary to make sacrifices of lambs, doves, etc.  Those sacrifices we read about in scriptures written before Jesus came, like the Old Testament, were sacrifices made to remind people of what Jesus would one day do for all of us.

We all have sinned and so it is important to BELIEVE Jesus when he taught that, because of Him, if we believe in Him and repent, we CAN be forgiven of our sins.  Some of us have a hard time believing Jesus even though we profess to believe IN Jesus.  We all need to believe Him and also be able to forgive others and allow that they also can be forgiven for their sins.

I heard something very interesting today.  It is that some people are very religious but not very righteous.  The Pharisees or many of the Pharisees in Jesus' day were very religious but also very evil.  They were self-righteous and vain.  They were judgemental of others and considered themselves way above and better than other people.

Jesus, through his teachings and his example showed that all people are children of God and we all are of equal worth in the sight of God.

NOTE:  This drawing is found in printable form by clicking on the button labeled "Religious" and scrolling down to the end of the New Testament section.  Click on this title and you will get the printable drawing to color.

Young Male Fairy fishing with His Dog coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog!

Today's new drawing is of a Young Male Fairy fishing.

Young Male Fairy fishing with His Dog

It may surprise you to learn that some Fairies have pets that are at home with humans.  Some Fairies have dogs.  Some have cats.  Some have parakeets.  Other Fairies have Guinea Pigs.  The list goes on and on.  Most pets can be transformed to Fairy Size to live with the Fairies in their underground home.

You also might see some Fairies riding their pet.  This can mean the pet is mortal size like a cat or dog in normal size.  Or it could be a Fairy riding a horse that is transformed to Fairy size.  Fairies are known to play with some small pets with the pet in their natural size.  For example, pet hamsters are the perfect size for a 5 inch Fairy to play with while the hampster is in its normal mortal size.

This drawing was done from one of our Fairy Garden figurines.

NOTE:  This drawing, in printable form, is found by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the drop-down menu. Then click on the title of the drawing to get your printable page.  Have fun coloring!

Fairies and Unicorns coloring pages

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog!

Today's new drawing is of a young Fairy on a Unicorn who is resting.

Fairy on a resting Unicorn

Unicorns and Fairies are almost always good friends.  In fact, sometimes a Fairy's best friend can be a Unicorn.  So sometimes a Unicron's best friend is a Fairy.  Here we see Alegria sitting on her friend, a Unicorn named Gozo.  (Both names mean "joy.")

Fairy technology - which is integrated with their magic - allows Fairies to transform to mortal size.  In this drawing, we see that Alegria has transformed herself to mortal size to ride her Unicorn.  OR maybe they are just hanging out and talking.

There is some assumptions among humans that Unicorns are about as intelligent as horses.  That would be wrong.  The fact is that Unicorns are magical beings of human (and Fairy) intelligence.

NOTE:  This top drawing was based on one of our Fairy Garden figurines.  This new drawing can be found, in printable form, by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the drop-down menu.  New drawings are always at the bottom of the list.  On this main blog page... down below this paragraph... are some older drawings of Unicorns and Fairies.  The printable versions of these older drawings are found further up the list.

Second NOTE:  Oops... I forgot to post the older Fairy with Unicorn drawings.  SO.... here they are:

Grain Fairies coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

There are over 1600 drawings on this blog that you are free to print to color.

Today's new drawing is a couple.

They are a type of Grass Fairy called a Grain Fairy.

Grain Fairies Couple

\Grain Fairies are a type of Grass Fairy. . . since Grain is a type of grass.  These Grain Fairies look after the Farmers' grain as it is growing.  They even spend the growing season living in the grain field.  So they don't get lonely, Grain Fairies have a very high rate of marriage.  They go back to the Fairy Village from time to time during the growing season and during the off-season, they live in the Fairy Village.

There is some size difference between the husband and wife.  This is just by chance.  There are relatively tall Fairies and there are relatively short Fairies.  If this male Fairy went to mortal size he would be 6 feet 10 inches tall.  If the female Fairy went to mortal size she would be 5 feet tall.   So even for Fairies, there are size differences.  She is about 4 inches tall and he is about 5.5 inches tall in their natural Fairy Size . . . as seen in this drawing.   They are emerging from the grain field as the sun rises from the left side of the drawing... but out of the picture.

Of course, Fairies CAN go to mortal size.  They also have flying belts to increase their flying endurance and speed.  Fairy tech is quite advanced compared to our mortal technology.  Fairies integrate their magic with their technology.  Notice that both Fairies have a wand tucked into their flying belt.

Some people think that male Fairies don't have beards.  Some male Fairies are beardless and some have beards like this male.  Some Fairies are tall and some are short... relatively speaking.  Some are more gracile and some are more robust.  This male is very robust.  His wife is more gracile.  Their names are:  Jiminy and Jennifria.  Jiminy is the male and husband and Jennifria is the female and wife.

Notice the similarities of wings.  Married Fairies sometimes will have their wings morph into similar shapes and colors.  This only happens if they have a very good companionate marriage.

Note: This drawing, in printable form, is found by clicking on the button labeled:  Fantasy, Myths, and Circus.  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list.  New drawings are always at the bottom of the list.  A final note:  My granddaughter, who is just 6 years old, came up with the name, "Grain Fairies."

Wooly Rhino and other Steppe Animals coloring pages

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a Wooly Rhinocerous... A.K.A. Wooly Rhino.

Wooly Rhino on the Steppe
(By the way, I reworked this drawing and made the hump bigger.)

Wooly Rhinos lived about 5.3 million years ago to 11,700 years ago.  They were herbivores and lived in tundra and steppe areas.  There is some evidence that some of this ancient megafauna were killed off by early Man.  There WAS a North American Rhino but it was not wooly.  It was called Teloceras.

(not necessarily a steppe animal)

NOTE:  This drawing can be found, in printable form, by clicking on the button labeled Paleontology.  Then scroll down to the bottom of the Cenozoic Life section.... because new drawings are at the bottom of the correct part of the drop-down menu list.   Below is a wooly mammoth hunt drawing as well.  The mammoth drawing and the Teloceras drawing, in printable form are found further up the list.

More Mushroom Fairies coloring pages

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawings are of another 2 Mushroom Fairies.

Mushroom Fairy kneeling on Mushroom

Young Mushroom Fairy gathering Mushrooms

You may not know that Fairies usually live underground under trees- usually in forests.  Fairies also love eating mushrooms.  The Mushroom Fairies like to go out and gather mushrooms.  Some Mushroom  Fairies are the best cooks of mushrooms.  Of course, Fairies are experts at recognizing safe-to-eat mushrooms.

In our part of the world, the Western USA, we get toadstools that grow in our lawns and these toadstools are deadly.  So never gather wild mushrooms unless you REALLY know what you are doing.

Notice that the Mushroom Fairy who is kneeling on the mushroom is named Gracia. She likes to gather mushrooms found in forest grass.  She chooses to wear clothing based on plant material... especially grass.  So she is also a kind of Grass Fairy.

The second Mushroom Fairy is an adolescent Fairy and she is about half-mortal size as she keels to gather some mushrooms from a grassy area under some forest trees. The adolescent Fairy is named Chanterella, goes to half size to gather mushrooms because that size works best for her.  She is not too big and not too small.  Her NORMAL Fairy size would be about 4 inches tall.  That is about 10 cm. Chanterella prefers the traditional brownie style of Fairy clothing.  Chanterella set her gathering basket on a rock.  She can change back to Fairy Size to go home.  But she'll deliver the basket to the village full sized in order to have more food.  If she shrunk the basket, like she CAN do, that would make for a lot less biomass.

Did you know that mushrooms are in Kingdom Fungi?  And Fungi cells have multiple nuclei instead of just one nucleus like plant and animal cells.

NOTE:  Below is some other drawings of Mushroom Fairies from previous posts. To get to the printable version of the drawings just click on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll to the bottom of the drop-down menu for the new drawings' titles.  New drawings are always at the end of the list.

Resurrected Jesus greets a Little Girl coloring page

This is a free coloring pages blog.

I have drawn over 1600 coloring pages that you can print to color.

Today's new drawing was done during church.

Resurrected Jesus greets a Little Girl

Jesus is portrayed here greeting a little girl.  Jesus is a resurrected being in this drawing.  Jesus died and paid the price for our sins.  Three days later He was resurrected.  Because of this, we can be forgiven for our sins if we repent.  AND we will all be resurrected.

Resurrection means we will get our bodies back, only in immortal and perfected form.  For me that means that I will not have a messed up trachea.  I will no longer have a tracheal stent and trach tube.

Male Fairies coloring pages

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a Male Firefly Fairy.

Male Firefly Fairy

(new drawing)

This is a Male Firefly Fairy.  He is emerging from a bush to greet and play with the fireflies.  Firefly Fairies can make their wands signal like the bioluminescence of a firefly.  Most Firefly Fairies can speak or signal several firefly languages.  Feel free to add stars or/and a moon to the sky.

Below are some other Male Fairies.  There is some assumption that all Fairies are female.  That is not the case.  Fairies are a type of human but they are smaller in their natural state.  Fairies have magic and advanced technology as well.  But Fairies procreate in the same way as mortals do.  It takes a male and female Fairy to make a baby Fairy.  The baby Fairies do not pop out of flowers or emerge magically from the river or forest.

Male Fairy wings are as diverse as Female Fairy wings.  The wings can be bird-like, or resemble butterfly wings, or look like lace wings, or look like fish fins, or look like bat wings.

NOTE:  This top drawing, in printable form, can be found by clicking on the "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus" button.  The scroll to the bottom of the drop-down menu.  Below are some other drawings that are of a Male Fairy or that include a Male Fairy.  These drawings are from previous posts.  These older drawings will also be under the same button but they will be further up the list.

Baby Squirrels coloring pages

This is a free colroing pages blog.

There are no ads and no fees.

Today's 2 new drawings are of young or baby squirrels.

Young Squirrel on Branch in Spring

Baby Squirrel in Hollow Tree Nest in Winter

Squirrels have two mating seasons per year.  Once is between December and February.  The babies are born in late winter or early spring.  The gestation period for squirrels is 38-46 days.  The other mating season is late June through August.  Those babi3s are born in late summer or early fall.

The first drawing is of a young or juvenile squirrel on a branch in the spring.  Notice the young leaves on the tree.  This is not a tiny baby squirrel.  The next drawing IS of a baby squirrel but in late winter... looking out of the nest that is in a hollow tree.  Notice the snow on the branches.

Most baby vertebrates have the "Cuteness Factor."  This means that the babies have a larger head-to-body ratio and often bigger feet to body size.  This cuteness factor indicates to adults that the young need care.  The eyes-head ratio is also often relatively large.  Hence these drawings show juvenile squirrels with bigger eyes and a larger head compared to the body size.   So adults have smaller head-to-body ratios and smaller eyes-to-head ratios, and smaller feet-to-body ratios.

NOTE:  These drawings are found by clicking on the button labeled "Animals."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list of drawings to the last drawings..  New drawings are at the bottom of the list.

Carnotaurus coloring page

Welcomoe or welcome back to my free coloring pages blog.

There are over 1600 free drawings to print and color.

Carnotaurus on the Prowl

Carnotaurus was a fairly large caniverous Theropod dinosaur.  It lived in the Cretaceous Period in what is now South America around 70 million years ago.  It weighed up to 4,600 lbs or 2087 kg. It was around 30 feet or 9 meters long.

Cartotaurus had horns on its head... eyebrow horns.  These were short horns and were probably for sexual display, not defense or offense.  Although I suppose it is possible that the males butt heads to fight for the right to mate with the females.  Carnotaurus had a rather short skull compacted to other carnivorous Theropod dinosaurs.

Carnotaurus had short arms with 4 fingers and long slender legs.  It probably had a fast pace when it ran after prey.  Since Cartotaurus lived in South America, it never faced off against the well-known Tyrannosaurs from North America... like Daspetosaurus, Albertosaurus, or Tyrannosaurus rex

River Fairies, Creek Fairies, & Stream Fairies

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog!

Today's new drawing is of a teenaged Creek Fairy.

Young Creek Fairy by a Creek

There are several types of Water Fairies.  This new drawing is of a Creek Fairy.  A creek is generally considered to be a small stream, often with rocks in it.  This creek Fairy is named Amnisula.  She is kneeling in the grass and reeds by a creek.  She has transformed to full mortal size and is dressed in a plant-based outfit.

Amnisula means "little river" in Latin.  Most Fairies' base language is Latin.  Although Fairies are gifted in languages and you meet one, she or he will certainly know your language.

I've often mentioned the Balteaus Volantes or Flying Belt.  This Fairy, like most Fairies, wears a Flying Belt.  The belt allows them to fly further and faster than they can fly with just their natural wing power.  Of course, all Winged Fairies can fly, but they can only fly for short distances.

The Flying Belt is evidence that Fairies have high-level technology that we mortals lack.  Personally, I'd love to own a Flying Belt!  The Flying Belt is an antigravity device.  It uses neutrino power so the Flying belt helps the wearer accelerate in any chosen direction.  And even more fascinating, Fairies communicate with their Flying belt via telepathy.  Fairy tech and magic allow Fairies to transform from Fairy size to mortal size and back.

NOTE:  This new drawing, in printable form, can be found by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus." Then scroll down to the bottom of the list for the new drawing.  Click on the title and you'll get the printable coloring page.  Below are some older drawings of Water Fairies from previous posts.  Their printable pages are found further up the list. Unicorns coloring pages

This is my free coloring pages blog.

There are over 1600 drawings to print and color.

Permission is given for people to print these drawings to color.

This includes schools, children's programs at churches, cruise ships, museums, community centers, etc.

Permission is not given for anyone other than myself to print any of these drawings for sale.

Today's new drawing is of a male unicorn.

Unicorn looking over Hidden Valley

(new drawing)

Some Unicorns, in an attempt to avoid humans who would kill them for their magical horn and hair, fled to a valley known as Hidden Valley.  This valley is magically hidden from human eyes.  I do not know where it is, but it is said to be surrounded by high mountains.

Unicron hair is very magical and Unicorn horns are collected by evil wizards for nefarious purposes.  Only a very wicked wizard would ever kill a Unicorn.  And they have to kill a Unicorn to be able to cut off the horn.

This male Unicorn is at an overlook and Hidden Valley is obscured by clouds.  His name is Ramon and he is the Top Unicorn in Hidden Valley.  Even with the valley obscured by clouds and fog, he can see where every other Unicorn of the herd is located.  Unicorns have a sort of magical sixth sense so they can see other Unicorns and other good magical beings... like Fairies, Mermaids, and Elves... even when the normal view is obscured by something like clouds.  This sixth sense also allows them to see evil magical beings such as trolls, goblins, and orcs.   This allows them to stay safe.

Unfortunat4ely most Unicorns can not see humans in fog.  So anciently many Unicorns were caught and slaughtered by evil men who had learned to hunt them when it was foggy.

Unicron Horns can emit a light to allow Unicorns to see in darkness.  When doing magic, like looking through fog... then a light appears at the end of the horn... as seen in this top drawing.

NOTE:  This new drawing, in printable form, is found by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list to find the newest drawings.  Click on the title and you will get a printable version of this Unicron picture.  Below are some Unicorn drawings from previous posts.

More Firefly Fairies coloring pages

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog!

Today's new drawing is of two young Firefly Fairies.

Young Firefly Fairies

This is a drawing of two young Firefly Fairies emerging from bushes.  There are two fireflies nearby.  Firefly Fairies can mimic firefly light signals.  The Firefly Fairies use their wands to do this.  So this is how Firefly Fairies communicate with fireflies.

Fireflies have something called bioluminescence.  This is a biological ability to make light.  Many deep-sea creatures have this ability as well.

Notice that the Faires both are wearing Balteum Volantes or flying belts.  /These flying belts allow a Fairy to fly faster and longer distances than they can fly on wing power alone.

NOTE:  This new drawing... at the top of this page... is available in printable form by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll to the bottom of the drop-down menu.   Click on the title and you'll see the printable page.  Below are two other older drawings of Fairies with Fireflies.
