Laurelei the Laurel Fairy

This is my free coloring pages blog.

There are around 2700 coloring page drawings that I have drawn for you to print and color.

Today's new drawing is of another healer.

Laurelei is a Laurel Fairy

Laurelei the Laurel Fairy

Laurel Fairies are a type of Healer Fairy.  They know that laurel leaves have many medicinal and nutritional properties.  For instance, laurel leaves are full of antioxidants.  Laurel leaves are antimicrobial and the Fairies use their technology to make antibiotics from laurel leaves.  These leaves are also used to help heal ulcers plus they have anti-inflammatory properties.

I should also note that laurel leaves are an important food spice that adds flavor.  And laurel plants are native to the Meditreannian region of Southern Europe and Northern Africa.  In some countries, a laurel wreath is worn at graduation ceremonies.

Laurelei is a beautiful and very smart Healer Fairy.  She specializes in finding the best types of laurel leaves to bring back to the Fairy village.  Fairy villages are generally in the woods and built under a tree amid the tree roots.  Don't be fooled, these are not muddy dirty villages.  They are full of green mini-plants and artificial grow-light.  Of course, the Fairies are also there in their natural size of around 5 inches or 12.7 cm tall.  Laurelei is seen here in her natural size standing on a branch of a young laurel plant.  You may notice that her clothing is made of mini-laurel leaves that have been enchanted to be cloth-like.

Marigilda the Hobbit Healer

Welcome back to my free coloring pages blog!

I have been in the hospital recovering from surgery.

Thank you for your prayers.  It went well this time.

I drew some of the kind & skillful medical caregivers

that took care of me in the hospital.

I appreciate them letting me draw them because drawing

is what I do instead of taking narcotic pain meds.

In fact, I started drawing Marigilda right after she (the real nurse) got

me settled in my hospital room after I left surgery recovery.

Because I had someone to draw I was able to not take a single

dose of narcotics after I left the surgery recovery room.

Thank you to all those who took care of me including doctors,

nurses, nurse assistants, respiratory therapists,

nutrition staff, and pharmacy staff.

This is the first of the drawings of my hospital caregivers

that I will be posting over the next few days.

This is Marigalda who is a Hobbit Healer.

Marigilda the Hobbit Healer

Hobbits are generally kind people.  They are about half the size of normal men and women so one of their nicknames is "halflings."  Marigilda is a beautiful and kind female hobbit.  She lives in a home that has a round door.  The home is a dugout in a hillside but it DOES have windows.  In fact, hobbits are known for their comfortable homes.  Although most hobbit houses are dugouts, they are richly decorated with paneled walls - plus windows make you feel like you were in a regular home.  Of course, if you are a regular-sized human you would feel like a giant in a hobbit hole/home.  You would probably bump your head on the rafters.

Marigilda is a talented Hobbit Healer.  She is skillful in finding and the use of herbs.  Here she is seen with some tulips, which have been used for centuries as a poultice for insect bites or/& skin irritations.  Tulip poultices help with bee stings and wasp stings and even scratches.  Marigilda is also a very kind healer plus she is also very beautiful.  Of course, her kind and caring nature enhance her natural physical beauty.

Night Fairies

Welcome to my coloring pages blog.

There are around 2700 drawings that I have done on this blog.

Today's new drawings are 2 more  "Night Fairies."

Night Fairy that is a Bat Fairy

Night Fairies include several types, based upon what flora or fauna they serve.  This Fairy, named Murci, is partial to bats and she cares for and looks out for them.  So, not surprisingly, she is seen here with a bat that is just waking up for her night's activities.  Many Bat Fairies have bat-like wings like Murci has.

Night Fairy that is a Moth Fairy

This is Tinea.  She is a Night Fairy that specializes in moths.  Here she is seen with a moth and also a bat in the background.  But Tinea is seen communicating with the moth. Her magical wand light helps draw moths to her.  Animals CAN communicate with Fairies, but of course, animals have much more limited intelligence than either mortals OR Fairies.  Far from being ditzy and flighty - most Fairies are highly intelligent!  Insects, like moths, have pretty low intelligence.  But they have what they need.

Although many Moth Fairies have very moth-like wings, Tinea's wing shape is her own unique shape.  But the patterns on her wings ARE similar to patterns found on some moths.

Next Generation Air Dominance - NGAD jet fighters coloring pages

This post should be titled: Possible NGAD fighter jets

This is a free coloring pages blog.  Today the drawings are possible

versions of the Next Generation Air Dominance fighter jet

that is being developed here in the USA.

The fighter jet is called "NGAD."

These are, of course, POSSIBLE versions of the NGAD and they are not actually based on any fully revealed prototype. But some drawings HAVE been released by Skunkworks I suppose.  These three drawings are based on my interpretation of the information that has been released or leaked I suppose.

I have drawn versions of the NGAD fighter twice before.  So these three new versions I have labeled as NGAD #3, #4, and #5.

NGAD #3

NGAD #4

NGAD #5

NOTE:  These three new drawings can be printed if you click on the "Military Vehicles" button and scroll down to the bottom of the drop-down menu.  New drawings are at the bottom of the correct list.  I am also adding the two drawings I did of NGAD fighters and posted previously... the two drawings are down below.

Fighter Jet

I suppose, since it was my first attempt, this drawing should be called NGAD #1.  But of all my attempts at drawing the NGAD fighter, this is the worst.  The horizontal stabilizer should be small or it should not be there at all.  But the jet shape and the wing shape may make some sense for a stealth fighter.  However, the flawed drawing could be the smaller fighter the U S Air Force is talking about developing.  They want a smaller and cheaper version to help keep the fighter jet numbers up.

NGAD Fighter with No Vertical Stabilizers

This drawing would be NGAD #2 because it is my second try at drawing an NGAD fighter.

4 New Water Fairies coloring pages

Many Fairies are also known as Water Fairies.

Today's new drawings on this free coloring pages blog

are all drawings of different Water Fairies.

There will be several drawings.  I am posting more right now.

Flumenia the River Fairy

Flumenia is a River Fairy.  She is seen here in the shallows by the near the bank.  The far bank can be seen in the background.  You know that she is not mortal-sized because you can see the size of the leaves.  These leaves are a willow leaf, a pair of elm leaves, and two oak leaves.

All Fairies can change size from their natural size of about 5 inches or 12.7 cm tall.  Flumenia is choosing to be about twice her natural height.  Although I know it is spring right now in Utah, USA, this drawing is from the early autumn because a few leaves are seen in the river.  We have Chinese Elm trees, Willow trees, and oak trees in Utah.  The scrub oak or Quercus gambelii is the native oak tree.  It is a very bushy tree.  It is also called the Gambel's Oak.

Flumenia's name is based on the Latin word for river.  All these Fairies have names based on Latin words that describe their preferences.  Latin is the original ancient language adopted by Fairies.

Lilium the Lilypad Fairy

Lilium is a Lilypad Fairy.  She also is partial to Dragonflies so I guess you could call her a Dragonfly Fairy as well. She likes to hang out on lilypads during the day.  These lilypads are found on ponds and small lakes so she could be called a Pond Fairy or Lake Fairy as well.  Lilium means Lilly in Latin.

Amnis the Stream Fairy

Amnis is a young female Fairy. She is seen here hovering over a small stream.

Stream Fairies prefer small streams instead of wider rivers.

Cataractia the Waterfall Fairy

Cataractia likes waterfalls.  I have written about Waterfall Fairies before. They like to fly into the falls and get a ride down into or just above the water.  Her name is very close to the Latin name for waterfall.  In this drawing, Cataractia is in mortal form.  Since she is by a cascading waterfall... which is really several small waterfalls, she will need to go to Fairy size to dart into the falling water.  IF she were at a larger waterfall, like Niagra Falls, then she could dart into the falling streams of water in her mortal size.  But Cataractia prefers smaller waterfalls.  Personally, I love waterfalls too.

You might have noticed that Cataractia has lace-wings.  Her name is based on the Latin word for waterfall.  If that makes you wonder about the word "cataracts" then I think it refers to how a waterfall looks like white water or a fuzzy white curtain.  That is why the eye condition is called cataracts.

Spinosaurs: Spinosaurus aegypticus and Baryonyx wakeri dinosaur coloring pages

This is my free coloring pages blog with around 2700  coloring pages that I have drawn.

There are no ads or fees on this site.

Today's new drawings are rather simple drawings of 2 Spinosuars.

One is, of course, Spinosaurus and the other is Baryonyx.

Spinosaurus aegypticus about to go Fishing

Spinosaurus is the most well-known Spinosaur.  It's full scientific name is Spinosaurus aegypticus.  It was at least 55-60 feet long and it was the biggest known Theropod dinosaur.  A very few years back a new Spinosaurus skeleton was discovered in Morocco.  The original find had been destroyed or buried in an Allied Bombing attack on the Nazi headquarters that was across the street from the museum.  The new find shows that Spinosaurus almost certainly walked on four legs and lived on a flood plain and fished for its main food.  It lived in North Africa between 93.5 and 99 million years ago.  There is an excellent documentary about the finding of the second Spinosaur and its called: "Bigger Than T. rex."  Spinosaurus possibly lived its life much like a crocodile.

Baryonyx about to go Fishing

Baryonyx was another sial-less Spinosaur.  It was around 30 feet long and it lived in what is now Southern England.  Its scientific name is Baryonyx walkeri.  It was a fish-eater, like its later cousin or maybe descendant Spinosaurus.

NOTE:  Below are a few other Spinosaur drawings from previous posts.  To get to the printable copy of these two new drawings you can click on the "Paleontology" button and then scroll to the bottom of the Mesozoic Life section.

Lexsea the Pacific Spiny Dogfish Shark Mermaid coloring page

Hi there!  This is my free coloring pages blog.

There are around 2700 drawings that I have done that

you can print and color for free.

A very few of the drawings were done by grandnieces and a grandnephew.

For you regular readers and colorers I apologize for not posting more often.

I am in a pretty scary health crisis right now and so is my wife.

Today's new drawing is of a Mermaid named Lexsea.

Lexsea the Mermaid

Lexsea is actually a Mermaid who is a Caretaker Mermaid. She watches out for the animals of the ocean.  She especially cares for sharks.  And her favorite species of shark is the Pacific Spiny Dogfish.

Dogfish Sharks get the name because they travel in packs.  They don't look like dogs.  They look like skinny sharks.  This type of shark can grow up to around 4 feet long.  That's around 1.2 meters long.  They can weigh up to 22 lbs or about 10 kg.  Their packs can be hundreds to thousands of individuals.  I wonder why they don't call them "wolf-fish."  These sharks tend to be bottom dwellers.  But they are beautiful animals in my opinion.

Lexsea is particularly beautiful because of her amazing large eyes.  She needs these large eyes to gather light in darker parts of the ocean because Pacific Spiny Dogfish live in both shallow waters along the Pacific coast AND they also dive down to around 3000 feet... where it is pretty dark.  I guess you could call Lexsea a "Shark Mermaid" or a "Dogfish Mermaid."  You can see a small pack of Pacific Spiny Dogfish in the background.

I should add that there are both Pacific and Atlantic Dogfish Sharks that live mainly north of the equator. They have been overfished - even though they are the most abundant type of shark. The tiny spines on the dorsal fin can do some damage if you don't handle the fish carefully.  And Spiny Dogfish is a shark that is harmless to humans.

Mermaids and Mermen for that matter have a special charm that keeps them safe from any type of shark, but Lexsea doesn't need to use that charm with her friends the Dogfish Sharks. Dogfish are also harmless to Merpeople.

Leprechaun Couple with their Pots of Gold coloring pages

Welcome back to my free coloring pages blog!  I have been in a rather difficult health crisis so it has been a while since I posted.  I have done drawings but have not been able to bring myself to get around to posting any of them.  Since today is Saint Patrick's Day I drew this Leprechaun picture last night.

Leprechaun Couple with their Pots of Gold

Leprechauns are not all male.  They are, of course, both male AND female.  They fall in love for life and a Leprechaun can live for hundreds of years.  Like other Fairies, Leprechauns can change their size.  They can be bigger than a mortal or smaller than a mouse.  But their preferred size is between 1 and 2 feet.  That is 0.30 and 0.60 meters tall.

This couple, who are named Sean and Keelin, are standing on a low-grade hill as they are searching for a place to bury their pots of gold. No, they do not have a shovel, because they will use Leprechaun magic to dig the hole and bury the gold.  In fact, they will probably use a levitation charm to cap the spot with a flat rock.

One thing to consider is that they are at their natural Fairy size so their pots of gold are only able to carry about 3.1 Troy ounces of gold.  At the current price of gold at $1,923.00 per ounce that means each pot of gold is valued at $5,961.30 in American dollars.  So with two pots of gold, they are about to bury the worth is around $11,922.60 worth of gold.

About the butterfly:  This is a Red Admiral Butterfly.  The species is native to Ireland. It is also found in Great Britain.  It is a large and colorful butterfly that is often seen in gardens. This species is also found throughout Asia, Europe, and North America.  It has an amazing distribution!  It is even found in Hawaii, New Zealand, and the Caribbean.  Its scientific name is Vanessa atalanta.  It was previously called the "Red Admirable" butterfly but now is called the Red Admiral Butterfly.

Velociraptor the Swift Theif and other Raptor Dinosaurs coloring pages

 Hello or Hello Again!

This is Robin Lyman the artist who runs this free coloring pages blog.

I apologize for not posting for a few days but please understand

that I am recovering from surgery that did not go very well.

Anyway, today's new drawings are of Velociraptor.

Velociraptor without Feathers

Velociraptor with Feathers

(The Pterosaurs that are flying by in the background are Pteranodons.)

Velociraptor was a Theropod dinosaur that lived in what is now Mongolia in the Cretaceous Period.  Velociraptors grew up to 6.8 feet or 2.7 meters long and about 1.6 feet or 0.5 meters tall at the hips. Velociraptor was made famous by the impressive Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies.  But those raptors in the movies would have been more like the size of Utahraptor.

Velociraptors were probably pack hunters and they almost certainly had bodies covered in feathers.  Many people prefer to imagine Velociraptor as a scaly lizard-like animal, but that is probably not true.  It looked a lot like an oversized roadrunner. But Velociraptors had a mouthful of sharp teeth, not a beak. Modern birds are sometimes now called "Avian Dinosaurs."  Birds are in fact, descendants of feathered Theropod dinosaurs.

The name Velociraptor means "Swift Theif."  They could probably run at top speed between 25 - 40 miles per hour. So that is between 40 and 64 kilometers per hour.  That is pretty fast for a small dinosaur that only weighed around 100 lbs or around 45 kilograms.  Velociraptors weighed about the same as a medium-sized wolf or German Shepherd dog.  In fact, a wolf is just a bit slower than Velociraptor.  By the way, a modern roadrunner can only run at a top speed of 26 miles per hour.  In fact, that speed would only be in short spurts.

NOTE:  This pair of drawings are found, in printable form, by clicking on the button labeled "Paleontology." and then scrolling down to the bottom of the Mesozoic Life section.  Below are some other raptor drawings of mostly Velociraptors and some other raptors including Utahraptor.  The below drawings are further up the list in the printable section of this blog.

Simple Portrait of Jesus coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

If you are a regular visitor I want to apologize for not doing any new posts for a few days.

I was to have a medical procedure and things went kind of wrong.

I am out of the hospital now and this is the first of the drawings I had ready to post before my surgery.

Simple Portrait of Jesus

This is a rather simple portrait of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Jesus died for our sins and he was resurrected so we all can also be resurrected.   There is eternal consequences for any sin.  That would keep us from ever returning to live with our Heavenly Parents & our Elder Brother and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

We lived with our Heavenly Parents in our premortal lives.  We were spirits or souls.  Our Heavenly Parents had and have glorious bodies of both matter and Spirit Matter.  Only when resurrected I suppose we are made of some type of eternal and higher matter.

Satan was there too.  He was another powerful spirit but he rebelled against our Heavenly Father and Satan or Lucifer was sent down to Earth without getting a mortal body.  1/3 of the hosts of heaven or spirit children of our Heavenly Parents followed Satan and they also rebelled.  They were sent down to Earth as well... without getting a mortal body.  Now those spirits are jealous of those of us who followed God.  They work to deceive us mortals and convince us to do evil or sin.

All people sin at one time or another,  But Jesus did NOT sin so He was our Savior who paid the price for our sins.  Jesus' father was our Heavenly Father and his mother was Mary.  In fact, in his premortal form, Jesus created the Earth.  He had incredible power during His time on Earth.  He willingly gave himself as a sacrifice to pay the eternal price for our sins.  So if we repent we can one day return to live with both our righteous family from our life on Earth AND live with our Eternal Parents and our Savior Jesus Christ,

NOTE:  This drawing is found in printable form by clicking on the button labeled "Religious."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the New Testament part of the list to see this title.  New drawings are at the bottom part of the correct list.
