Today's new drawing is of a Flower Fairy named Lilieae.
Flower Fairy named Lilieae
Flower Fairies are often also often Butterfly Fairies. This Flower Fairy, named Lilieae, is also a Butterfly Fairy. She is named after the Tribe name for Tulips. Tribe is a level of classification just before Genus. Notice that one of the nearby flowers is a tulip. Tulips are monocot flowers that are actually in Family: Liliaceae or the Lily family.
