Torvosaurus at a Desert Overlook
(new drawing)
Torvosaurus was a huge Jurassic Period predatory Theropod dinosaur. Some fossil evidence suggests that it may have been 36 feet or 11 meters long. Some more recent evidence hints that it may have been even bigger. Torvosaurus has been found in both Europe and the Western USA.
NOTE: Below are some earlier drawings of Torvosaurus. For the new drawing in printable form, just click on the Paleontology button and scroll down to the bottom of the Mesozoic section. New drawings are on the bottom of the correct list. So the older drawings will be further up the list.
