Adam and Eve with Forbidden Fruit
In honor of Valentine's Day, I decided to draw the first married couple from the Bible. Adam and Eve were married by God in the Garden of Eden. Our view is that the decision to partake of the Forbidden Fruit was a wise and knowing decision. They went against God's commandments, but that gave them a chance to be tested in Mortality and go through married life and having and raising children together. The Forbidden Fruit was an actual fruit. But by taking it they were no longer like little children and were able to go on and become parents. Consummating their marriage would not have been a sin because God had married them already. We think that God expected them to partake of the Forbidden Fruit. By partaking of the fruit they were made mortal and went on to be the great parents of the Human Race.
Below is an older drawing of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. I have been working on my skills at drawing people and I think I am getting better. Remember that newer drawings are at the top of the printables lists. Older drawings are further up the lists. Look for these drawings either in
....All Printables. . . or in . . . Religious... Those are found by clicking on those buttons. The buttons are up top. The list of drawings in the Religious section include an Old Testament section.
