Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
Today's St. Patrick's Day drawing is of a Leprechaun couple in mortal size!
Leprechauns in Mortal Size
Leprechauns are a wingless type of Fairy. They can, like all Fairies, use magic to go to mortal size. We see a young female Leprechaun and her young Saint Patrick's Day date in this drawing. They are going to help a few mortals with some of their gold.
Although some Leprechauns love to prank us mortals, some Leprechauns prefer to HELP mortals who are in need. To do this, and so they are not too obvious, they can go to mortal size. Before they get to the mortal village they will use their magic to go into whatever outfit of clothing that most closely matches the local mortals.
Although they do not have wings, Leprechauns who are in love gain the ability fly. For this reason, they actually tend to marry early. As long as their love is kept alive in their marriage they can continue to fly.
Rarely, but sometimes, a Winged Fairy will marry a Leprechaun. Their kids are always born with Fairy wings. Notice that there is a Fairy-sized door in the tree. The Leprechaun lady has just exited her home village. Leprechauns, like most Fairies, live under and in trees in rather elaborate villages.
