Period.

Nanuqsaurus and Cryodrakon of the Cretaceous Arctic

Yes, there were dinosaurs and Pterosaurs in the Arctic.  During the late Cretaceous, there was a smaller Tyrannosaur and a very large Pterosaur.  The dinosaur was called Nanuqsaurus.  That name means "Polar Bear Lizard."  Nanuqsaurus was around 20 feet or 6 meters long.  It had the typical Tyrannosaur small arms with two claws.  It also had the smaller front teeth for tearing meat off of bones.  The bigger teeth were for crushing bone.  By the way, "nanuq" means "polar bear" in Inuktitut... which is the language of the Inuit Native Americans. . . who are the Eskimos.  By the way, although Nanuqsaurus was about half the size of a full-grown T. rex, I don't think a 20-foot long dinosaur is a small animal!

Cryodrakon was a very large Pterosaur.  In fact, it may have had a wingspan of close to 30 feet or 9 meters.  (Some estimates have it at around 16 feet but that may be due to the specimen that was being examined was a sub-adult or a juvenile.)  This Pterosaur or flying reptile was so big that it may well have eaten small vertebrates like baby dinosaurs.  When standing on the ground it may well have been as tall as a giraffe.
