Fairy by Stream... Mortal Sized
Fairies are magical beings and as such they are capable of changing sizes. They are usually in their small or diminutive size. They can and do change to the size of us mortals from time to time. The Fairy in these pictures is mortal sized and then it transformed back into diminutive size. You will notice that the popping sound that happens when they change size scared away the butterfly that the female Fairy was watching.

Artist Note: I drew this from a photo. The model for this was a young adolescent girl who lives near us. As I drew this drawing I decided to add some age to the fairy. This is not how the model looks. But it is possibly how she will look in a few years. Of course she probably won't have the cool looking wings. I should also mention that these wings are modeled after the Lacewing insect's wings. Remember that printable versions are found by clicking on the correct button up top.
