Die Verkündigung Mariens war das Ereignis, das in der Bibel aufgezeichnet wurde, als der Engel Gabriel Maria erschien und ankündigte, dass sie den Sohn Gottes gebären würde. Was für eine erstaunliche junge Frau Mary gewesen sein muss. Und ihr Verlobter Joseph war auch unglaublich. Als Joseph herausfand, dass Mary schwanger war, brach er privat die Verlobung ab. Aber ihm wurde in einem Traum erzählt, was los war. Also heiratete er seine Braut, wartete aber darauf, ihre Ehe zu konsumieren, bis Jesus geboren wurde. Einige Religionen glauben, dass Maria und Josef ihre Ehe nie konsumiert haben. Die Hinweise in der King James Bibel (die Bibel, die wir benutzen) über James, den Bruder des Herrn, zeigen, dass Joseph und Maria tatsächlich Kinder zusammen hatten. . . oder zumindest hatten sie ein Kind zusammen.

Am 25. Dezember zu feiern ist bei uns in Ordnung. Die Weihnachtszeit ist eine wunderbare Zeit und wenn wir Weihnachten richtig machen, erinnern wir uns, dass Jesus der Grund für die Jahreszeit ist. Es ist eine Jahreszeit, an das Geben und den Segen unseres Erlösers zu denken, der auf die Erde kommt, um uns unter den Bedingungen unseres Glaubens und unserer Umkehr von unseren Sünden zu retten. Dann zahlt sein Atom den Preis für unsere Sünden und wir können eines Tages zurückkehren, um mit Gott zu leben.

Wir glauben, bevor wir auf die Erde kamen, lebten wir mit unseren himmlischen Eltern in einem vorirdischen Leben. Jesus war dort und er meldete sich freiwillig, der Retter von uns allen zu sein. Jesus ist unser älterer geistiger Bruder. Er liebte uns so sehr, dass er sich freiwillig erbot, in Getsemani zu leiden und am Kreuz den Preis für unsere Sünden zu zahlen, damit wir eines Tages wieder mit ihm und unseren himmlischen Eltern leben konnten.

La Anunciación de María fue el evento registrado en la Biblia donde el Ángel Gabriel se le apareció a María y anunció que ella tendría el Hijo de Dios. Mary, una mujer joven y valiente muy valiente, entendió que ser virgen lo hacía básicamente imposible. El ángel Gabriel le dijo que con Dios nada es imposible.

The Annunciation of Mary was the event recorded in the Bible where the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and announced that she would bear the Son of God.  Mary, a very brave young and worthy woman DID understand that her being a virgin made this basically impossible.   The Angel Gabriel told her that with God nothing is impossible.  

Mary was so humble and accepting of God's will.  She said, "Behold the handmaid of Lord; be it unto me according to thy word."

What an amazing young woman Mary must have been.  And her fiancé, Joseph, was also amazing.  When Joseph found out that Mary was pregnant he was going to privatelty break off the engagement.  But he was told in a dream about what was going on.  So he married his bride but waited to consumate their marriage until after Jesus was born.  Some religions think that Mary and Joseph never consumated their marriage.  The references in the King James Bible (the Bible that we use) about James the brother of the Lord indicates that Joseph and Mary did indeed have children together.  .  .  or at least they had one child together.  

The Annunciation is celebrated on March 25th by several Christian churches.  This is around the Northern Hemisphere's Vernal Equinox.  It is exactly 9 months before Christmas.  

It you want a headache look up the date of Jesus' birth.  It is very debated.  Some evidence exists that put Jesus' birth in the spring instead of the winter.  That would make the Annunciation in June or July.  But to we members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints the exact day of the year that Jesus, our Savior was born is not vague.  We believe that He was born on April 6th.  Yet we don't mind celebrating His birth on December the 25th.  

Celebrating on December the 25th is fine with us.  The Christmas season is a wonderful time and if we do Christmas right, we remember that Jesus is the reason for the season.  It is a time of year to think of giving and of the blessing of our Savior coming to Earth to save us from our sins, upon conditions of our faith and our repentence.  Then His Atomement pays the price for our sins and we can one day return to live with God.

We believe that before we came to Earth we lived with our Heavenly Parents in a premortal life.  Jesus was there and he volunteered to be the Saviour of all the rest of us.  Jesus is our elder spirit brother.  He loved us so much that he volunteered to suffer in Gethsemane and upon the cross to pay the price for our sins so that we could live with Him and our Heavenly Parents again someday.

Brinkley the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Brinkley the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Brinkley was the sweetest pet.  He was my sister's dog.  We took care of him once or twice when his family was going on vacation.  He passed away a day or two ago.  So I told my sister that I would draw him.  

The Cavelier King Charles Spaniel are known for being affectioinate, graceful, and gentle.  They tend to weigh between 13 and 18 lbs.  So they are a medium to small sized dog.  They usually live between 12 and 15 years.  Brikley was around for much of the "raising the kids" time of my sister's and her husband's life.  He was great with their kids.  He will be greatly missed.  

An interesting fact about the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is that they have traits of both a sporting breed and a toy breed.  So they are affectionate and cuddly like a toy breed but they are adventerous and athletic like a sporting dog.

My sister, Lollie, has written a poem about her doggy Brinkley.  So to help you understand the poem, here are a few facts:  This breed often have eye problems so Lollie or another family member had to put eyedrips in his eyes.  Our mother died many years ago.

Dragons and Fairies

You may find this surprising, but Dragon Magic can be overcome by well done Fairy Magic/tech.  Fairies have both magic and technology.  They merge the two and so to us mortals it all looks like magic.  Although Dragons have powerful magic, two or more well trained Fairies can make a dragon do their will.  

You have most likely never seen a dragon because the Fairies keep them safe, hidden and under control in Dragon Enclaves far from mortal view.  This drawing has two fairies who are clearly in control of the dragon.   One Fairy is male and the other is female.  They are whisking the dragon back to a protected and guarded Dragon Enclave in an isolated part of the world.  My guess is it is in Siberia.  I am guessing this because you can see the evergreen boreal or snow forest in the drawing.

I have included an older drawing below.  I forgot to mention that sometimes Fairies keep smaller species of dragons as pets . . . or even as friends.  Some Fairies raise dragons from the egg and those dragons learn to be safe and gentle.  Not all dragons are bad.  I also forgot to mention that dragons that are safe are permitted to leave the sanctuary as long as they use their magic to keep hidden from mortals.   That is another reason you probably have never seen a dragon.

You probably are not aware of Pet Fairies.   But they do exist.  They are Faires that have chosen to look after lost pets.  They do not always live in mortal villages, but sometimes they do.  They have chosen to take care of lost pets.  If you have heard stories of pets that got lost far from home that made it back to thier owners... that was the work of Pet Fairies.  They are very kind and they care about our pets.  

Most Fairies care for wild animals.  This is what makes Pet Fairies so unique.  They care about mortal's pets.  They love animals, like most Faires do, but Pet Fairies have chosen to shower that love on our lost pets.  

We have a pet that was led to be captured by Animal Control.  He was living alone for months.  We do not know his history.  The pound named him Cotton but Rescue Rovers named hiim Georgie.  Rescue Rovers are people who foster homeless pets until the pet can be adoped to their forever family.  I have a suspicion that some of the Rescue Rover foster pet parents are some of the Pet Fairies that live among us mortals.
