Today's new drawing celebrates the birthday of
Joseph Smith Jr. - the Prophet.
Today is the 219th birthday of the Prophet Joseph Smith Jr. He was the prophet of the restoration of the full Gospel of Jesus Christ. He founded, under the direction of the Lord, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
The priesthood keys of sealing were given to "Brother Joseph" and because of that we can be sealed to our spouse and children for time and all eternity. Then after we die our spirits go to the Spirit World. Eventually, we will be resurrected with perfect immortal bodies. Then we can live with our spouse and family for time and all eternity with our Heavenly Parents.
I DID say "Heavenly Parents" because it was revealed to Joseph Smith that we have a Mother in Heaven, along with our Father in Heaven. In fact, the Spirit World is organized by families. And if we are sealed and repent of our sins and strive to improve we get to live in the Celestial Kingdom of our God and live together for time and all eternity!!!
