Daniel is Saved From the Lions in the Lions' Den coloring pages

Today's new drawing is of Daniel in the Lion's Den.

It is a rather simple drawing, not super realistic.

But young kids should like coloring it.

Daniel is Saved from the Lions

(today's new drawing)

Daniel was a captive of Babylon.  He was one of the righteous people from the Kingdom of Judah, which had been taken captive.  He was so wise that he was made an advisor to King Nebuchadnezzar, and to the king's son, and when Babylon was taken by the Medes and the Persians Daniel became a counselor to King Darius.

But others of King Darius' advisors or ministers were jealous of Daniel so they devised a plan where the king would make a law that people could only pray to him for 30 days. Daniel was not going to not worship and pray to God so he was thrown into a den of lions.  But the Lord sent an angel to shut the lion's mouths.

Daniel is seen in this new drawing just as the angel is descending from Heaven to come into the lion's den.  So use your crayons or colored pencils to draw rays of (yellow) light shining down from the upper left part of the drawing.

NOTE:  This drawing is found in printable form by clicking on the button labeled: "Religious."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list.  Have fun coloring and again, be sure to draw light or maybe even an angel descending from Heaven to save Daniel.  Below are some older drawings of Daniel and the Lions' den.
