Jesus coloring pages

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

Today there are two new drawings... of Jesus.

These drawings are related to Jesus' teaching.

Jesus said to not hide our Candle under a Bushel

In the Holy Bible, in Matthew 5:14, Jesus says that men do not light a candle and put it under a bushel.  But to put it on a candlestick to give light to all who are in the house.  Then He said that we should be like the candle and let our light shine before men to show our good works.

We members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints had our General Conference yesterday and today.  We were reminded a lot about repentance that is made possible by the Atonement of Christ.  We also were taught that in Gethsemane and on the cross Jesus suffered the pains of all people so he knows how to succor or comfort us in our trials.  I loved the messages about looking to the future instead of the past... and that we can repent and God will forgive.

Jesus teaches the Parable of the Fig Tree

Again in the Holy Bible, in Matthew 24, Jesus is teaching about the signs that will proceed His second coming to Earth.  The signs are scary, to say the least... but Jesus comforts His followers by telling them the Parable of the Fig Tree.  This parable helps His followers see that just like being able to tell the seasons based on a deciduous tree leafing out... we can all tell the signs of Jesus' return to Earth based on the calamities that will be going on.

NOTE:  These two new drawings will be found, in printable form by clicking on the bottom labeled "Religious." Then scroll to the bottom of the New Testament part of the list.  Below this paragraph, I will be posting some of my older drawings of Jesus that are from previous posts.  Please realize that there are many more printable drawings of Jesus that you find under the "Religious" button.
