Parasaurolophus Feeding Time

Parasaurolophus probably cared for her young.  We have found other Hadrosaurs or duck-billed dinosaurs with their nest of eggs.  The baby dinosaurs were very small and clearly incapable of caring for themselves.  The baby duck-billed dinosaurs would be called chicks.   So this is a picture of a mother duckbill, a type of Hadrosaur, called Parasaurolophus...who is feeding her chicks.  Notice where the mother dinosaur stripped the leaves off of the tree so she could feed them to her chicks.  There WERE deciduous trees during the Cretaceous Period.  There were not deciduous trees during the Jurassic Period.  The duck-billed dinosaurs lived in the Cretaceous Period.  Their biggest enemy a few million years before T.rex would have been Daspleteosaurus and then Albertosaurus.  Finally the last predator of  Hadrosaurs would have been Tyrannosaurus rex.   All three predatory dinosaurs listed are types of Tyrannosaurs.
