Mother's Day Cards to color 2023

 

These Mother's Day cards are unique.  

They are all involving BIRDS!

In fact, they all involve bird puns. 

The first picture of each bird is the drawing that was clipped and used for the card.

The second is the actual Mother's Day Card.

I will be posting these bird drawings and "punny" cards up until Mother's Day.

The FIRST birds are grebes.  Specifically, they are Western Grebes.

This is a grebe mother with two grebettes.  A grebette is what a baby grebe is called.  Grebes are a type of medium-sized waterbird or waterfowl.  We have those types of birds here in Utah, USA.  Mother grebes are known to carry their grebettes on their back.
