Kourtney the Night Fairy

Kourtney the Night Fairy

Kourtney is a Night Fairy.  She is in fact a leader among the Night Fairies.  You can see, in this close up drawing, that she is hovering among some tulips as she directs the pollination activities of other Fairies.  (The other Night Fairies are not seen in the drawing, although the Night Fairy named Maryn  is one of Kourtney's Pollinating Fairies.)

This is a drawing showing the Night Fairies at work during warm weather.  .   . either Spring, or Summer, or early Fall.   Like all Night Fairies, Kourtney has large and pretty eyes for gathering light in the dark.  Like owls, Night Fairies have excellent night vision.  Night Fairies also have wands that they often use for extra light.

A majority of Night Fairies have moth-like wings.  So if you saw a Night Fairy you wouild probably think it is a moth.  The Night Fairy magic charms are used to cloak thier real appearance from most mortals.  Kourtney has made herself larger than her Pollinating Faries that she is directing.  Fairy Magic can make a Fairy under 5 inches tall. . . or the size of a mortal. . . . or any size in between.

This is clearly not a "Tinkerbell" style of Fairy.  I am quite sure that like mortals, Fairies come in all forms and all forms are beautiful.  My model for this drawing had very beautiful eyes and drawing with a fine point marker, I am not sure I can capture that kind of beauty.  But she was also a very nice person, and that is the truest beauty.
