General George Washington coloring page

This is my free coloring pages blog.

There are over 3100 coloring pages

for you to print & color.

Today being the Fourth of July

it is Independence Day

in the USA…

so I drew George Washington in a simple portrait with no background.

General George Washington

Picture will be posted in black-and-white printable form when I get back from my family reunion & recover from surgery.  I am having trouble posting the coloring page with my smartphone.

If you are a praying person, please include me in your prayers.

UPDATE! My surgery went well so I am home now and finally posting the coloring page! Thanks for your prayers!

George Washington was the commander of the Continental Army. He never quit, and his persistence helped win the colonies their freedom. He was also the first President of the United States. He refused to run for a third term and was a great example of the peaceful transition of power.

NOTE: Now that I have finally posted the drawing/coloring page, I can tell you where to find the coloring page in printable form. Click on the button labeled "People and Portraits." Then scroll to the bottom of the list. If you are accessing this site in July or August of 2026, then this portrait will be at or near the bottom of the drop-down menu or list of drawn coloring pages. Have fun coloring!
