This is my free coloring pages blog.
Today the new drawing is of a large, robust, female T. rex.
Big Mamma T. rex
Recent research has suggested that Tyrannosaurus rex may have been considerably bigger than previously thought. Studies show that T. rex may have matured more slowly than previously thought and grown to close to 50 feet or 15 meters long and weighed up to 15 tons! That is 30,000 lbs or 13,608 kg. So, T. rex may have been 70% heavier and 25% longer than previously thought.
This drawing shows a very hefty mamma Tyrannosaurus rex. She is drawn heavier than you would think. It is thought that perhaps the female T. rex was larger than the male, as in most birds of prey. The more gracile T. rex are thought to have been males. The more robust T. rex are thought to have been males.
So this Big Mamma would possibly have weighed 15 tons or 30,000 lbs and been nearly 50 feet long!
About the volcano: notice that it is experiencing an ash and lava eruption. This type of simultaneous ash and lava eruption often happens with stratovolcanoes.
