You have found my free coloring pages blog. But is not ONLY coloring pages I have drawn, because I am a retired junior high Science teacher and I have made a Science activity for you!
Today's new post is a Science activity that you can do at home. This activity is based on the four animal drawings I have posted recently. Look at the example. Write the name of an animal you see, then write the name of its class. So, "elk" is a mammal of the Class "Mammalia." So, you need to write on the lines: elk Mammalia. You will probably need to do some research on the classes of animals, but the names of the classes for each picture are on the first page below.

Classes of Animals activity page 2
Here are the pictures or coloring pages that go with this activity.
They were posted previously and recently. The worksheets are found by clicking on the
"Science Readings & Worksheets and Phonics" button. To make your life easier, I
have posted the 4 coloring pages links right after the worksheet links.
The drawings or coloring pages were posted previously. So they can
also be found by clicking on the button labeled: "Animals." The Ugly Duckling drawing will
also be found under the "Birds" button. New drawings are at the bottom of the list,
so if you are accessing this page in February or March 2026, then you will find these
drawings and the worksheet at the bottom of the list. I hope you enjoy coloring the coloring pages
that I drew for you. AND if you decide to do the activity, then have fun doing that as well.
