Lokiceratops a new Ceratopsian from New Mexico

This is my free coloring pages blog.

There are around 3000 drawings that can be printed and colored.

I drew all these drawings except for a few done by a grandniece and grandnephew.

Today's new drawing is of a newly named horned dinosaur.

Lokiceratops

Lokiceratops was discovered in what is now the state of New Mexico in the USA. It was a Ceratopsian or horned dinosaur with a frill.  This was a fairly large animal at 22 feet or 6.7 meters long.  It had a very decorated frill with many mini-horns but two big ones that looked like the Norse god Loki.  Hence the name Lokiceratops.  Like all Ceratopsians it had a beaked mouth and was a herbivore.

NOTE:  This drawing in printable form is found by clicking on the Paleontology button and scrolling down to the bottom of the Mesozoic Life section.  Have fun coloring this unusual extinct horned dino.
