More Easter 2026 Coloring Pages

This is my last Easter post this year. This is my free coloring pages blog.

This first drawing is a portrait of Jesus.

Jesus, a Portrait
This is a simple portrait with no background. Feel free to add any type of background.

Jesus willingly gave His life for us. To quote Elder Gong, "Christ's Atonement changes everything."
Because Jesus Christ paid the eternal price for our sins, we can repent. Because Jesus died and then was resurrected, WE will one day be resurrected and get immortal bodies. Then, if we repented and strove to do better, we will get to live in glory with our Heavenly Parents and our spouse and family for all eternity.

My granddaughter colored this drawing.

Jesus being led to Golgatha

Jesus had to carry His cross. There is some thought that he had to carry the crosspiece, not the entire cross. I did not draw them, but certainly many people would have lined the path to Golgatha, where Jesus was crucified. I have previously posted new resurrection drawings this Easter Season.

NOTE: These drawings are found, in printable form, by clicking on the "Holidays" button. Then scroll down to the bottom of the "Easter" section. These drawings are religious drawings, so they will also be found at the bottom of the "New Testament" section under the "Religious" button.

Jesus begins to Atone for Our Sins

Happy Easter Season!

Today on this coloring page blog, I am posting a drawing I did of Jesus.

Jesus begins to Atone for Our Sins

Easter Season

Yes, I love the idea of the Easter Bunny

Family egg hunts can be both fun and funny

Personally, I like Robin Eggs

As a kid, for this candy, I begged

And dyeing Easter eggs can be fun to do

And even eating one or two.

But let's also remember the reason

For the great Easter Season

Jesus had a great job to do

He paid for the sins of me and you

We all lose our grasp on the Iron Rod

Sinning at all separates us from God

But since for our sins, Christ paid that great price

We can still repent and have eternal life

NOTE: This drawing can be found in printable form by clicking on the button labeled "Holidays." Then just scroll down to the bottom of the "Easter" section. This coloring page will also be posted at the end of the New Testament section of the "Religious" section.

Easter 2026 Bunny coloring pages

 Happy Easter Season!

Today, and for the next few days, I will be posting bunny or rabbit coloring pages.

There will also be more religious Easter coloring pages.

I drew all of these pictures this year.

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Mother Rabbit and Baby Girl Bunny

Some bunnies are Easter Bunnies. These are rabbits or bunnies with that special set of characteristics of being wise, swift, and kind. Read more about it in the excellent book, The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes.  This book is available in some local bookstores this time of year - the Easter Season.

The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes

NOTE: The drawing is done in my style, not the same style as the illustrator Marjoie Hack. More Country Bunny drawings can be found in the "Easter" section of the Holiday page. Just click on the "Holidays" button and scroll down to the bottom of the Easter section. Have fun coloring and Happy Easter

Easter 2026 Resurrection coloring pages

This is my free coloring pages blog.
Happy Easter Season!

Today I am posting a few Religious Easter drawings/coloring pages.
I drew these in celebration of Easter and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Resurrected Jesus Outside His Tomb

Because Jesus was resurrected, we all will one day be resurrected.

Jesus appears to Mary Magdalene after His Resurrection

The first person to see Jesus after His resurrection was Mary Magdalene. He told her to not touch Him because He had not yet ascended to His Father.

Jesus - After His Resurrection - ascending to His Father

Jesus ascended to His Father, but Jesus returned to visit with His disciples for 40 days.

NOTE: These drawings are found in printable form by clicking on the "Holidays" button. Then scroll down to the bottom of the Easter section to find these titles. If you are accessing this title in late March or April of 2026 then these drawings or coloring pages will be in those spots. Clicking the "Religious"  button will help you find these pages in printable form. Just scroll down to the bottom of the "New Testament" titles.  Have fun coloring these. And more Easter coloring pages are in those lists.

Joseph meets His Brothers in Egypt

This is my free coloring pages site, or blog.

Today's new drawing is of Joseph who was sold into Egypt... when he met his brothers there.

Joseph meets His Brothers in Egypt

THIS is a stylized drawing - done in a modified ancient Egyptian style of drawing. The drawing shows when Joseph greets his brothers. These same 10 brothers had sold him into slavery. Joseph had suffered, even having been falsely accused and imprisoned... but he had triumphed. He interpreted the Pharaoh's dreams, and he, Joseph, was put in as the number 2 man in Egypt.

Joseph had predicted an upcoming 7 good years of harvest... followed by 7 years of famine. He had been put in charge of storing the excess food for when the famine hit.

Meanwhile, over in Canaan, Joseph's father and his 11 brothers and their families were suffering due to the drought and famine. So, Jacob, or Israel, had sent his sons to Egypt to get food. Originally, only the 10 oldest brothers went, and the youngest son, Benjamin, was left at home.

After leading them on a bit, Joseph forgave his older brothers and told them that it was all meant to be.

Note: This drawing is found in printable form by clicking on the button labeled "Religious." Then scroll down to the last title on the "Old Testament" part of the list.

A Butterfly Fairy and a Moth Fairy coloring pages

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawings are of a couple of Butterfly Fairies.

Erina the Butterfly Fairy

Erina is a Butterfly Fairy. She is seen here on a branch of a tree. She is resting after a full day of helping the butterflies pollinate flowers. Butterflies also receive protection from Butterfly Fairies. They can use their magic to confuse a bird or other predator, like a frog.

Polilla the Moth Fairy

Did you know that moths are also pollinators? Some flowers are primarily pollinated by moths... at night. Interesting fact, Moth Fairies have feathery antennae, like most moths have. However, Butterfly Fairies rarely have any antennae.  Moth Fairies can light up the end of their wand to attract moths. Moth Fairies have large eyes for seeing at night.

NOTE: These drawings, or coloring pages, are drawn by me for you to print and color. Just click on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus" and scroll down. IF you are accessing this page in March or April of 2026 then you will find these drawings at or near the bottom of the list.

Leprechaun Couple with Pot of Gold and Peacock Butterfly

 Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Since it is the day before Saint Patrick's Day, I drew a

Leprechaun couple.

Leprechaun Couple with Pot of Gold and Peacock Butterfly

Have you ever thought that maybe leprechaun gold was leprechaun-sized? With the current price of gold at $5,022.80 per ounce... this little pot of probably 250 ounces of gold would still be a LOT of money.  Do the math:

250 oz of gold x $5022.80 = $        ?

See below for the answer... but try doing the problem first. Calculator allowed.

But first, let me tell you about the Peacock Butterfly. It is a species found all over Europe, the UK, and, of course, Ireland. It has bright eye spots on its wings to startle predators.

NOTE: This drawing is found in printable form by clicking on the button labeled "Holidays," then scrolling down to the Saint Patrick's Day section. This drawing will be at or near the bottom of that small list.

Now, scroll down and search for the answer to how much this little pot of leprechaun gold might be worth. But be sure to calculate the problem first. OR, at least estimate it by, in your head, multiplying 5 by 25 and adding 4 zeros to the end of the number.

Starships leaving Orbit

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is a simple drawing of starships of the future.

Starships leaving Orbit

These are clearly starships of the future. They are of our future, or they are from a different sentient civilization. We, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, believe that God has millions of worlds peopled by His children. The ships above, IF they are Terran ships, then mankind has developed faster-than-light travel, because these planets and moons are clearly not from our solar system.  These two starships are leaving the orbit of the nearby planet.

NOTE: (Science Fiction IS a type of Fantasy.)  Next, scroll down to the bottom of the drawing or coloring page titles list.  Then click on this title. If you are accessing this page in March or April of 2026, you will find this title at or near the bottom of the list. Have fun coloring!

Moabosaurus and other Animals from Cretaceous Moab including an Early Iguanodon

You have found my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing that I have done is of Cretaceous animals near Moab, Utah.

OK, they were found near Moab, Utah.

In fact, the largest dinosaur found in the area is called Moabosaurus.

Moabosaurus on a River Plain

Moabosaurus was a large animal. But it was far smaller than its large Titanosaur cousins. That being said, these Sauropods were still the largest animals in their Early Cretaceous environment. It was 33 feet or 10 meters long. It weighed around 22,000 lbs. or 10,000 kg. It appears that earlier Sauropods had died off in the area or never lived there near what is now the Moab, Utah area.

Moabosaurus was named after Moab, Utah, by paleontologists from Brigham Young University.  Brooks Britt was the lead BYU paleontologist in this study. The scientific name of this Sauropod is Moabosaurus utahensis

There are other dinosaurs in the background. BYU student researcher Stefan Arriscorreta recently presented research that showed that Iguanodons evolved 25 million years earlier than previously thought. They lived in the same area and at the same time as Moabosaurus - around 125 million years ago. Stefan found Iguanodon eggs in the area. This area is now a desert, but back then it was a wet river plain.

There are two Pterosaurs in the sky. They are also from the Early Cretaceous. They are Uktenadactylus. This was a large Pterosaur with a wingspan of up to 29 feet or 9 meters wide. That is a big flying reptile!

If you are wondering why I included flowering plants, it is because new research is showing that flowering plants were flourishing as far back as 125-130 million years ago. New research has also shown that grass evolved in the Early Cretaceous.

NOTE: This drawing is found in printable form by clicking on the "Paleontology" button. Then scroll down to the bottom of the "Mesozoic Life" section. If you are accessing this page in March of 2026 then the title of this drawing will be at the bottom of that Mesozoic section. Have fun coloring!

Classes of Animals Science Activiy

You have found my free coloring pages blog.  But is not ONLY coloring pages I have drawn, because I am a retired junior high Science teacher and I have made a Science activity for you!

Today's new post is a Science activity that you can do at home. This activity is based on the four animal drawings I have posted recently. Look at the example. Write the name of an animal you see, then write the name of its class. So, "elk" is a mammal of the Class "Mammalia."  So, you need to write on the lines:       elk          Mammalia.     You will probably need to do some research on the classes of animals, but the names of the classes for each picture are on the first page below.

Classes of Animals activity page 1

Classes of Animals activity page 2

Here are the pictures or coloring pages that go with this activity.
They were posted previously and recently.  The worksheets are found by clicking on the
"Science Readings & Worksheets and Phonics" button. To make your life easier, I
have posted the 4 coloring pages links right after the worksheet links.

The drawings or coloring pages were posted previously. So they can
also be found by clicking on the button labeled: "Animals." The Ugly Duckling drawing will
also be found under the "Birds" button. New drawings are at the bottom of the list,
so if you are accessing this page in February or March 2026, then you will find these
drawings and the worksheet at the bottom of the list. I hope you enjoy coloring the coloring pages
that I drew for you. AND if you decide to do the activity, then have fun doing that as well.

Ocean Animals coloring page

This is my free coloring pages blog. I have drawn over 3000 coloring pages for you to print and color.

Today's new drawing is of Ocean Animals.

Ocean Animals

This is a simple drawing of a few animals that live in the ocean. This drawing includes animals from several classes. The setting is supposed to be off the west coast of North America, like off the Baja Peninsula of Mexico. Below is a list of the animals. See if you can find them on the coloring page.

Sea horses by some kelp. Kelp is actually not a plant nor is it an animal either. Kelp is in Class: Protista.  Sea horses are not invertebrates. They are actually a type of bony fish. There are some other bony fish in the drawing as well.

The sea anemone LOOKS like a plant, but they are a type of animal.

Clownfish live in or near sea anemone.

Marine worms or sea worms live on beaches and underwater in the ocean. Beach-dwelling worms are also called sandworms, albeit not the size of the enormous desert sandworms in Dune

There are a couple of types of coral in this coloring page. Coral is not a rock, nor is it an animal. Coral is a type of marine animal. By the way, one of the corals is brain coral. Do you see which one?

Starfish are seen in this drawing. Starfish or sea stars are members of Class: Asteroidea. That is a cool name. The starfish live on the sea floor.

There is also a clam, a sand dollar, a sea urchin, and a crab on the sea floor in this drawing. You will need to look up the class of animal for each of them if you do the Classification activity. That acticity will be posted tomorrow.

There is a dolphin and a whale. They are NOT fish. Do you know what class they are in? Here is a hint: they both nurse their young with milk.  The whale is a sperm whale, and it is actually blurry because it is far in the distance. Sperm whales are actually huge and can reach a length of up to 68 feet, or around 20+ meters.

The shark is not a bony fish. Sharks have cartilage for bones. When ancient sharks died, the only thing we find is their teeth. Look up what class sharks are in.

There is a mushy translucent dome-shaped invertebrate called a Portuguese Man-O-War that swims or floats in the sea. It has tentacles that can sting you badly. Can you figure out which animal I am talking about?

The birds include a laughing gull. They have a black head. There is also a diving Blue-footed Boobie.  Boobies dive bomb to catch fish that are visible from up high in the air. There are other birds far in the distance.

The only type of large reptile that survived the dinosaur extinction was sea turtles.

There are three types of swimming animals with tentacles in this drawing. They are in the same class. They are the octopus, the squid, and the nautoloid. A nautilus looks like the now extinct ammonite.

NOTE: This drawing will be part of a Science Classification activity. For now, it is a sea life or ocean life coloring page. It can be found in printable form by clicking on the "Animals" button. Then scroll down to the end of the list. IF you are accessing this site in February or March 2026, then you will find the title of this drawing at or near the bottom of the Animals list.

Ugly Duckling discovers He's a Swan

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is part of a set of animal drawings.

THIS is what it would look like for the Ugly Duckling to discover that he was a swan. These are still animals in a  North American river, pond, or lake.

Ugly Duckling discovers He's a Swan

I love this story. For some reason, an over-large egg winds up in a duck's nest. The egg hatches, and the "duckling" looks different from the other ducklings. He is rejected and persecuted because he looks different. To the ducks, different is ugly. Yet when the "duckling" matures after a long, lonely year, he discovers that he is actually a beautiful swan.

I love the song from the old movie, Hans Christian Anderson.  Look it up on YouTube. It's a great song! Like the story, it shows that someone who starts out seemingly inferior or different and seemingly ugly can grow into an exceptional or beautiful being.

Since this will be part of the Classification Science activity, here is the list of animals to look for:
swans, ducks, fish, butterfly, dragonfly, bee, grebe, and a mammal. Do you spot the mammal?

NOTE: This drawing will be used in a science activity. For now, it is just a coloring page of beautiful swans on a pond or lake. This drawing, in printable form, can be found by clicking on the button labeled "Birds" and then scrolling down to the bottom of the list of bird drawings. IF you are accessing this site in February or March 2026, then the title will be at or near the bottom of the list of "Bird" drawings.

Desert Iguana & other North American Desert Animals

You have found my free coloring pages blog.

Today, the new coloring page is one I drew of a Desert Iguana.

Desert Iguana and other North American Desert Animals

The desert iguana is a species of lizard found in North America, primarily in the Southwest portion of the USA and the Northwest portion of Mexico. They are about 13-14 inches or 33-36 cm. Some large adults grow to 16 or so inches. That is around 40 cm long. They are omnivorous but mostly eat plants. They also sometimes eat insects or carrion. They really rely on the creosote bush for food and even burrow underneath the bush.

This drawing includes a roadrunner, a tarantula, two ants, a crustacean called a pillbug, a scorpion, a diamondback rattlesnake, flying birds that are probably vultures or some other bird of prey, and a cottontail rabbit.

NOTE: The drawing is found in printable form by clicking on the "Animals" button. Then scroll down to the bottom of the list. IF you are accessing this site in February or March 2026, then this drawing will be at or near the bottom of the list of drawings.

Bull Elk and a few other Rocky Mountain Animals

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing that I did for you is of a bull elk on an overlook.

This picture is one of 4 that will be part of a Science Animal Classification project.

For today, it is a coloring page, albeit a pretty nice coloring page.

Bull Elk and a few other Rocky Mountain Animals

A full-grown bull elk can weigh over 1100 lbs. or almost 500 kg. They are actually a large type of deer. They are known for a powerful bugle call that is a type of mating call. Bull elk also spar or joust with other males for the right to mate with the harem or the females of the herd.

See if you can spot the other types of animals in this coloring page. There are 7 other species of animals in the drawing. They are: a mouse, a rabbit, a lizard, a butterfly, and 3 birds of prey. Look at the river to spot the seventh animal type or species.

NOTE: This drawing in printable form is found by clicking on the button labeled "Animals." Then, if you are accessing this site in February or March 2026, you will find this drawing's title at the bottom of the list of "Animal" drawings.

Knight on Horseback and a She-Elf in Armor

This is my free coloring pages blog.

I have drawn well over 3000 coloring pages for you to print and color!

Today's new coloring page is Sir Josh, a knight on his horse.

Sir Joshua on his Steed Captain

Sir Joshua is seen here on an overview of a mountain valley. His noble steed is named Captain. The horse is standing in deep grass on a mountain overlook.  This is a rather dangerous place for a horse. But it is not quite as dangerous as you might think because the grass is very deep and the edge of the cliff has a bit of a lip. Still, it is fairly dangerous, but Captain is a national treasure in his country. Josh, as his friends and family call him, knows how to guide this extremely intelligent horse in dangerous places like this. Sir Joshua is on the lookout for orcs, goblins, dragons, or mountain trolls.

Can you tell which "bird" in the distance is actually probably a dragon? When Sir Joshua turns around, then he will be able to tell which flying animal is actually a dragon.

NOTE: This drawing or coloring page, in printable form, is found by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus." Then scroll down to the bottom of the list to see this printable coloring page.

Tiffania the She-Elf Warrior

Tiffania is a She-Elf warrior. Yes, she IS very beautiful - like nearly all elves. But she is also both deadly when necessary. That means when she is in combat with orcs, goblins and\or  trolls. However, Tiffania is also a kind wife and mother. She knows that true beauty is in far more than the physical. Sir Joshua knows this as well.

Interesting that Tiffania chose marriage to a mortal, namely, to Sir Joshua. Sometimes they go on patrol together and sometimes individually. Often one stays home to take care of their children. Tiffany gave up her Elven immortality to marry Joshua. Tiffany is like Arwen, who said something to the effect:

"I would rather spend a lifetime with you, rather than an eternity without you."

I should add that in our belief, we DO get to spend an eternity with our spouse if we are both worthy. I also want to remind you that coloring pages can not capture the full physical beauty of people or Elves or Faries... but I try my best.

NOTE: These drawings, in printable form, are found by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list and click on the correct title.

Tulip Butterfly Fairy on a Cloudy Day

You have found my free coloring page blog.

Or maybe you are a returning fan.

Today's new drawing is of a type of Flower Fairy who is also a Butterfly Fairy.

Tulip Butterfly Fairy on a Clouy Day

This is a type of Flower Fairy. She is also a type of Butterfly Fairy. Her name is, appropriately, Tulipia. She is seen here with three butterflies. She has wings similar to these butterflies. They are called Papilia rey butterflies. (I admit that I made that up. But they ARE similar to a viceroy or monarch butterfly.)

Tulipia is leaeding some butterflies on a cloudy day, so she has ignited a magic lamplight on the end of her wand. This allows the butterflies to see the tulips they are seeking. Yes, butterflies DO help pollinate tulips. Notice that the shadows indicate that the wand is the primary light source on this cloudy day.

NOTE: This drawing is found in printable form by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus." Then scroll down to the bottom of the list of drawings.  New drawings are at the bottom of the lists. Also, the drawing will be at or near the bottom of the list if you are accessing this in February or March, 2026.  Have fun coloring!

Portrait of Resurrected Jesus

This is my free coloring page blog with over 3000 coloring pages for you to print and color!

Today's new drawing is a simple portrait of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

 Resurrected Jesus side-view portrait

This portrait shows our Savior Jesus Christ AFTER His resurrection. But his life did not start at His birth in Bethlehem. He lived with us as our elder spirit brother. We had Heavenly Parents in what could be called our pre-mortal life. Some people call it a "pre-existence.

Jesus volunteered to be our Savior. He volunteered to pay the eternal price or punishment for our sins. Then we were sent to Earth to be tested. We all sin. Jesus Christ performed His atonement in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross so that we would have the opportunity to repent.

Jesus earthly mother was Mary, a mortal. But his father was our Heavenly Father. So Jesus was actually very powerful. He COULD have stopped the crucifixion, but He went through the terrible pain because He loved us. He STILL loves us. If we keep God's commandments and repent when we don't... then we will be able to live again one day with Him and our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother. We also will be able to live with our worthy family members - including our spouse if we have been sealed for time and all eternity in one of Heavenly Father's Temples.

NOTE: This drawing is found in printable form by clicking on the button labeled New Testament then scrolling down to the bottom of the list. I will also place it in the "Portraits" section. New drawings are found at the bottom of the correct list.

Triceratops near a Waterfall

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a waterfall from the Mesozoic Era.

Triceratops near a Waterfall

Triceratops was a 30-foot-long herbivore from the Late Cretaceous of North America. It weighed  6-10 metric tonnes or between 13,000 and 22,000 lbs. That is a maximum of 11 English tons. Triceratops had a ball-joint on its neck so its long brow horns could be swung like parallel swords. It probably used its horns for both sexual display and to defend itself from Tyrannosaurs.

Triceratops is actually my favorite dinosaur. It was so impressive I think. It certainly traveled in herds, and the males possibly jousted for females. There is a theory that the frill was able to be flushed with blood to make it possibly red and make the dinosaur look more fierce.  There is also an idea that it may have had eye spots on the frill. Eye spots would make it look bigger to predators.

Look for 3 Triceratops, an Ankylosaurus, and a few Pteranodons.

NOTE:  This drawing or coloring page I drew for you... can be printed, and you or your kids can color it. Just click on the "Paleontology" button. Then scroll down to the bottom of the "Mesozoic Life" section. IF you are accessing this site in February or March of 2026, then this drawing will be at or near the bottom of the Mesozoic portion of the list.

We went to a dinosaur encounter with I Heart Cookies. We bought a cookie for our 3 grandkids and got to see the animatronic dinos up close. There was a spectacular mural on the side of one of the semi trucks, and I was inspired. It was a painting of a couple of Triceratops near a waterfall. See below:

2 Dinosaurs & a Pterosaur of Southeast Asia

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's drawing is of Mesozoic animals that lived in Southeast Asia.

2 Dinosaurs & a Pterosaur of Southeast Asia

These four animals lived in what is now Southeast Asia during the Cretaceous Period.  All were found in Thailand and probably existed in nearby countries like Vietnam. Vietnam has a lot of Cretaceous Period rock that shows that dinosaur ecosystems existed there.

In the foreground is Siamosaurus suteethorni. It was a medium-sized Spinosaur from what is now Thailand. It was somewhere between 17 and 30 feet long. That is around 5-9 meters long. It is known only from teeth, so this drawing is based on other Spinosaurs found in other parts of the world, like Baryonyx. Spinosaur teeth are very conical and were used for spearing fish. So here Siamosaurus is seen about to spear a sawfish with its long, straight teeth. Siamosaurus may also have fed on Pterosaurs when it could catch them off guard.

Far off in the background, you see a Titanosaur. This is Phuwiangosaurus sirindhornae... a medium-sized Sauropod. It was around 50 feet and possibly up to 65 feet long.  That is 15 to 20 meters long. It fed on plants and was possibly the largest animal in the ecosystem. The local Spinosaurs would have left a full-grown, healthy Phuwiangosaurus alone. Besides, it appears all Spinosaurs fed more on fish than large dinosaurs. Although there is evidence (as mentioned above) that Spinosaurs may have fed on Pterosaurs occasionally.

The Pterosaurs seen in the sky are Garudapterus buffetauti. This flying reptile is NOT a dinosaur, but it lived with dinosaurs in the Mesozoic Era - including the Cretaceous Period. Garudapterus was a smaller type of Pterosaur. But it was not tiny either. It had a wingspan of about 8 feet or 2.5 meters wide. Like the Spinosaurs, it was primarily a piscivore or fish-eater.

NOTE: This drawing or coloring page is found in printable form by clicking on the button labeled "Paleontology." Then scroll down to the bottom of the "Mesozoic Life" part of the list. If you are accessing this page in February 2026, then you will find this coloring page at that part of the list. New drawings are placed at the bottom of the correct list.

Livia the Catwoman & other Catwomen coloring pages

You have found my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a Catwoman.

Livia the Catwoman in Her Garden

This is Livia the Catwoman. She is seen here in her garden. Can you guess what she is planting?  It is a plant that cats really like.  Livia is a beautiful person. She is from another planet other than Earth. You see, when God said that He created Man and Woman in His own image, he was referring to their spirits. The BODIES of sentient beings throughout the Milky Way Galaxy are all humanoid, yet not all are just like the humans on Earth.

Livia is considered to be a strikingly beautiful person on her planet. These Catpeople live on the Planet Felis. They choose a simple life at home, yet they are an advanced civilization that rivals the technology we have here on Earth. However, they have chosen to use their technology to preserve their planet. They are far more responsible caretakers of their planet than Man has been of Earth.

Livia is planting - you guessed it - catnip. You see, the Felisians have advanced spaceships and have secretly visited Earth. They discovered catnip and took some home to cultivate it. Catnip triggers a euphoric and happy response in cats... and in the Catpeople of the Planet Felis.  It is cultivated in home gardens. It is non-addictive and, in the opinion of the Catpeople, catnip is the best thing they found on Planet Earth.

Livia is beautiful both inside and out. The Catpeople or the Felisians value a kind soul and an intelligent mind. They consider the personality of a person to be more than half of their beauty. All Felisians are covered in fur except on their face, palms, and pads of their feet. They consider that their fur preserves their modesty. They wear clothing for work, such as their "catronauts" who travel in space. The castronauts wear spacesuits that are similar to human spacesuits. Of course, a catronaut suit has a space for the tail. Livia is seen here in her garden and not at work. So she is not wearing her work clothing, a spacesuit. She is, in fact, one of the Felisian catronauts who visited Earth.

I should add that other planets have deer-like animals and bird-like animals... like the ones seen in the background of this coloring page.

Tyrannosaurus was BIGGER than previously thought.

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today the new drawing is of a large, robust, female T. rex.

Big Mamma T. rex

Recent research has suggested that Tyrannosaurus rex may have been considerably bigger than previously thought. Studies show that T. rex may have matured more slowly than previously thought and grown to close to 50 feet or 15 meters long and weighed up to 15 tons! That is 30,000 lbs or   13,608 kg.  So, T. rex may have been 70% heavier and 25% longer than previously thought.

This drawing shows a very hefty mamma Tyrannosaurus rex. She is drawn heavier than you would think. It is thought that perhaps the female T. rex was larger than the male, as in most birds of prey. The more gracile T. rex are thought to have been males. The more robust T. rex are thought to have been females.

So this Big Mamma would possibly have weighed 15 tons or 30,000 lbs and been nearly 50 feet long!

About the volcano: notice that it is experiencing an ash and lava eruption. This type of simultaneous ash and lava eruption often happens with stratovolcanoes.

The Prophet Nephi from His Garden Tower

This is my free coloring pages blog. Today I am posting a drawing I did in church.

It is the prophet Nephi speaking to the people from his garden tower.

Prophet Nephi from His Garden Tower

THIS Nephi is not the Nephi who traveled to the New World from Jerusalem. This Nephi is from over 500 years later. He was the prophet when his people, the Nephites, were going downhill as far as keeping the commandments. In other words, they were BREAKING the commandments.  Gadianton Robbers controlled the corrupt government. Gadianton Robbers were gangsters or organized crime. The people were full of wickedness and pride.

This is an amazing story. Nephi had a garden tower. He lived by the road that led to the main marketplace. He was so upset at the wickedness of the people that he went onto his tower to pray. Passersby heard Nephi's prayer, and a crowd started to gather. Nephi stood and began addressing the crowd and condemning the wickedness of the people and the wickedness of their government. He testified about Jesus and reminded the people about former prophets who testified about the Son of God.

Nephi even prophesied that the Chief Judge had been murdered by his own brother.  (The Chief Judge was the executive of the government, like a president or prime minister.) This Chief Judge and his followers were corrupt and evil. Nephi testified of their wickedness.

Nephi told the people that both the dead Chief Judge and the murderer were both members of the band of Gadianton Robbers. The people sent runners to check, and sure enough, the Chief Judge was dead, having been murdered.

Some people accused Nephi of being involved in the killing. They arrested him and took him before other corrupt judges. Nephi did something that proved his innocence and revealed the murderer. Nephi told the people to send a man to talk to the brother of the Chief Judge. It is kinda complicated, but the killer confessed that he killed his own brother, and the killer even exonerated Nephi.

Nephi was freed and left alone. He was instructed by God to go among the people and call them unto repentance. A great war broke out among the Nephites. Nephi smote the land with a draught or famine when he saw that the people were about to be destroyed by war. The famine killed many of the most wicked people ammd the remainder repented. Then Nephi asked the Lord to send rain again.

Read all about it in The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Christ. The story is found in Heleman chapters 7-9.  By the way, Chapter 10 is where you read about how the prophet Nephi is given great power to bring his people unto repentance.

A quick note about the drawing: The clothing is similar to clothing worn by the people of ancient North America... particularly the people of the Mound Builder cultures. Some people think that the Book of Mormon events happened along the Mississippi River valley and nearby areas.

3 More Mermaid coloring pages

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawings are of 3 different Mermaids.

Tracia the Mommy Mermaid

I last drew Tracia when she was expecting. Well, the merbaby arrived a while ago. His name is Mikey!  As you can see, Tracia sometimes is a Treasure Mermaid as well. Here she has found a priceless giant diamond and a chest of treasure. Her baby, Mikey, is swimming nearby. Baby Merpeople can swim as soon as they are born. Of course, they can also extract oxygen from the water with their specialized lungs. A Mereperson can get oxygen from both the air and from water.

Can you spot the sea anemone and a clownfish?  How about the shark, the two jellyfish, the clams, the starfish, the sea turtle, and the eel?  There is also a small striped tropical fish and a brain coral.

A Young Mercouple in Love

This is a pair of Merpeople who are in love. They are meeting at a seastack that is in shallow water. You can see a cruise ship off in the distance. Some Merpeople like to appear briefly to cruise passengers to give them a thrill.

Can you spot the clam? How about the starfish, the crab, the brain coral, two fish, and several barnacles on the seastack? There is also a pair of Laughing Gulls. These gulls are one of the species of gulls with a black head. Only the male has a black head.  Laughing Gulls are common all along the East Coast of North America.  With that in mind, is this the Pacific or the Atlantic Ocean?

Cruise Mermaid on the Dunes by a Beach

This is Playa a Cruise Mermaid. She also could also be called a Beach Mermaid. As was mentioned earlier, some Merpeople like to give cruiseship passaners a brief glimpse. Playa can, like all Mermaids and Mermen, can transform into mortal form.

The Trident that Playa is holding is like a wand that Fairies carry. In fact, some people think that Merpeople are actually a type of Water Fairy or Ocean Fairy.  These sentient beings live in cities under the sea and they use their magic to keep hidden from mortal eyes.

B-1 Bomber escorted by F-15s

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a B-1 Bomber and two Fighter Aircraft.

B-1 Bomber escorted by F-15s

The B-1 Bomber is a large bomber operated by the United States Air Force. It has the highest payload of any bomber currently in the Air Force.  It can carry up to 75,000 lbs or 34,000 kg of munitions - and that is just internally. It has a wingspan of 137 feet when extended. But the wings can swing to be swept back and then they are only 75 feet wide. It is 146 feet long. Fully loaded the B-1 weighs up to 470,000 lbs.

The B-1 Bomber has a range of 7,500 miles or 12,000 km. It has a maximum speed of 900 mph... or about Mach 1.25. That means 1.25 x the speed of sound... or 1,148 kph. By the way, the range can be extended by mid-air refuling.

This B-1 is being excorted by 2 F-15 Fighters. The F-15 has never lost an air to air fight ever. It is now being produced in a new and modern form called the F-15EX. This newest version has all the bells and whistles. It has modern radar, fly by wire controls, etc. etc. That etc. includes an amazingly fast and powerful computer and digital displays.

The F-15EX is about 64 feet long. It has a wingspan of about 43 feet. It has a top speed of Mach 2.5 or 1,900 mph or 2,655 kph. So it can fly 2.5 x the speed of sound. The speed of sound is 761 mph at sea level. Of course that speed changes depending upon the elevation - density of the air.  The F-15EX is the fastest USA fighter aircraft. It may be the fastest fighter jet in the world.

The B-1 was built years ago. It is still in service, but althought it IS supersonic, AKA very fast, it is not a stealth aircraft. The F-15 was introduced five decades ago, but the newest version is being built now and has many modern systems. The F-15EX will be in service for many years to come. The B-1 will probably be retired sometime around 2035. However, the even older B-52 is being upgraded and will continue in service many more years. I wonder if the B-1 might get modernized rather than retired. Afterall, the B-52 is still around and it carries 5,000 lbs less payload.  That is true except there is a conjecture about the B-1 Lancer being able to possibly carry up to 125,000 lbs of armament of bombs and missiles.

That reminds me. The B-1 in called the Lancer. The newest F-15 or the F-15EX is called the Eagle II. And in this drawing the aircraft are flying above the clouds where they can fly the fastest. Of course the Eagle II fighters are escorting the Lancer so the fighters would not be going their top speed - which is about 2 x the top speed of the bomber.
