I met this doggy and her people mommy, recently.

I met Sophie and her people mommy at a  car dealership while I was waiting for my car to be serviced.  She was and is a very friendly and beautiful dog.  She seemed larger than most Pomeranians.

New Armored Dinosaur & new Pterosaur coloring pages

 This is my new coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawings are of a recently discovered small armored dinosaur and 

a small Pterosaur with a long long beak.

Today's new post is of two unique animals from the Mesozoic Era.  One is a small  Pterosaur and the other is a small dinosaur.  Both of these animals have some very unusual traits.  Both of these animals are from the Mid-Cretaceous Period of about 100 million years ago. 

Leptostomia was a small animal.  It was a Pterosaur that lived in what is now Morocco.  It had a long beak like a modern  Avocet bird. It must have probed muddy places for worms and shellfish etc. Peptostomia was only 2 feet long and its beak was 1 foot of that length.  So this Pterosaur was probably a wader.  It also had fairly long legs for a Pterosaur.  

Jakapil was another small Cretaceous animal.  It was about the size of a medium-sized dog. It had teeth on the bottom that were different from the top teeth.  It appears to be an herbivore so it ate plants. Its teeth show evidence of wear so unlike many plant-eating dinosaurs, it chewed its food. 

This dinosaur is related to Stegosaurs yet its closest known evolutionary relative lived 200 million years ago.  That means 100 million years before Jakapil.

The Holy Bible talks of the young David being very talented at playing the harp.  He even played for King Saul.  Then we know of David, as king, writing psalms... which are songs.  So David certainly played the harp as an adult and as a king.

Melawyn the Young Rider of Rohan

Today's new drawing is of a young female Rider of Rohan. 

Melawyn the Young Rider of Rohan

Melawyn is one of the female Riders of Rohan that became more common after Eowyn's amazing defeat of the King of Agmar.  Melawyn is a young Rider and she is seen here on a small horse while she is in training.  When she goes into battle she will be riding a larger horse.  Notice that Melawiyn does mot have her sword with her. . . but she IS in partial battle armor.  

Melawyn is a Rider of Rohan, but she is also an animal lover as well.  Of course, all of the people of Rohan are lovers of horses.  But Melowyn loves all animals.  

Melawyn is a beautiful young woman, and I can not capture her true physical beauty in this medium of coloring page drawings.  Of course, true complete beauty is more than physical beauty.  It has been said, its ok to be beautiful but it is more important to be nice.  A corollary is: It is ok to be smart but it is also important to be nice.  Melawyn is a kind and beautiful young woman.

Cassea the River Flower Fairy

Welcome to my Free Coloring pages blog. 

This is a FREE coloring pages blog, NOT a "fee" coloring pages blog. 

Today's new drawing is of Cassea, a River Flower Fairy.

Actually, I first posted the drawing of Cassea with internalized wings a day or

two ago. Right now I am posting the same drawing with the addition of externalized wings.

This drawing is of Cassea who is a River Fairy that loves Flowers, hence River Flower Fairy.  This means that she takes care of or watches over flowers in or near the river.  The flowers IN the river are lilypads.  Some lilies live in slow-moving backwaters of rivers.  Cassea is in the water in her Fairy size of just a few tall.  She is wearing a flying belt or Balteaus Volantum.  It helps her fly longer distances and at greater speed.  

In the first drawing Cassea has internalized her wings.  All Fairies can do this.  In the second drawing her wings are out and on display.  This ability to hide wings helps Fairies hide and also it helps them to hide their identity when they go to mortal size and live among us mortals. 

I want to add that the Sunflower also sometimes lives near rivers.  In fact, the Sunflower is Cassea's favorite flower.  Sunflowers are very drought tolerant so they are found in other places that are far from water, but they DO live on riverbanks as well. 

One more thing I want to add, Cassea is one of those Fairies that spends part of her time in the mortal world.  In fact, since she loves plants and flowers she works in her mortal-sized form in a plant nursery.  She has beautiful blue eyes and strikingly beautiful blonde hair.  When disguised in her mortal form she uses Fairy magic and Fairy Tech to transform into mortal size.  She also can internalize her wings so that they are hidden inside her back.  This transformation or hiding of wings takes place when the wings are Fairy sized.  So small wings are hidden inside her mortal-sized body.  This makes it very easy for them to be internalized.

Many of them are truly beautiful because they have a loving and giving personality.

People who are physically attractive but not kind are way less attractive overall.

Unicorns are known to befriend other animals.  The Unicorns are sentiant beings so they are far more intelligent than other animals.  In fact, Unicorns have intelligence equivalent to humans and Fairies.  

New Drawings of Jesus coloring pages

This is my free coloring pages blog 

 I am Robin, a retired or disabled teacher who likes to draw to distract 

myself from my painful health problems. 

Today I am posting several new drawings I did of Jesus over the past few weeks.

Jesus is our Savior.  In the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross he paid the eternal price for our sins.  He made it possible for us to be forgiven.  He also was resurrected and opened the door for us all to be resurrected.  Here are several new drawings I have recently drawn, of Jesus Christ, our Savior. 

The drawing of Jesus about to clear the Temple... was done today.  The other drawings were done on other Sundays. I usually draw a religious picture on Sundays.  Although I do not always get the religious drawings posted promptly.  In fact, often I have a backlog of drawings to post.  That is why I posted several pictures today.  

Concerning the Jesus about to clear the Temple drawing... I want to add that Jesus did use a braided whip to clear the greedy moneychangers from the Temple.  Jesus did not fly off the handle and go into a rage.  He was angry and he DID clear the moneychangers out.  But first he calmly braided a makeshift whip to use.  

We often think of Jesus as meek and lowly of heart.  That is true, but He also knew when to exercise His power in fighting evil.  In fact, Jesus is Jehovah of the Old Testament.  He was the creator of the Earth.  As a mortal he was still the Son of God and could have used the incredible power He possessed as a god.  Jesus was a willing sacrifice for our sins.  He was not a helpless victim of the Jewish leaders of the day and a victim of the Romans.  Jesus Christ willingly suffered and died to pay the eternal price for our sins because He loves each and every one of us.

Dandelion the Dandy Doggy a Micro Mini Goldendoodle coloring page

Today the new drawing is of our puppy, who 

is named Dandelion.  But we call him Dandy most of the time.

Dandelion is the name of our new puppy.  We usually call him Dandy. He is a Micro Mini Goldendoodle.  That means he is a combination of a Golden Retriever and a Toy Poodle.  More specifically, the mother is a Mini Goldendoodle and the father is a Miniature Poodle.  This makes them 25% Golden Retriever and 75% Miniature Poodle.  This is called an F1B cross. 

Dandy is so much fun and so loving.  We are very glad we got him, even though we are currently dealing with housebreaking him.  He loves our grandkids and he loves ladies.  Older men take a little more time but he has warmed up to me.  SOME men don't seem to scare him and he accepts them instantly.  Teens or even young adult men also don't bother him.

Unicorn Foal and Mustang Foal coloring pages

 This is my free coloring pages blog. 

Today the two new coloring pages are related.  One is a Mustang Foal and the other is a Unicorn Foal.  The original drawing is of a Mustang horse and I modified the first drawing so the second drawing is of a Unicorn Foal on the same overlook of a valley.

First of all, these are cartoon drawings.  The eyes are classic cartoon eyes.  These are simpler drawings for mostly small children to color.  Unicorns and Horses are closely related, but a Unicorn is a sentient being like a human or a Fairy or a Mermaid or a Water Nymph.  Of course, special horses are gifted with being sentient... like the ones on My Little Pony. 

In fact, some Unicorns will run with the Mustangs during the warmer months but go to live with the Faires in the cold winter months.  So some of the Mustang herd are horse-Unicorn crosses.  Many of these offspring are also sentient, although only full-blooded Unicorns sport the horn.

Today's new drawing is of a newly discovered Spinosaur from the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom.

Ceratosuchops inferodios 

Two recent discoveries of two Spinosaursids have been made on the Isle of Wight in the UK.  These predatory Theropod dinosaurs had long snouts like other Spinosaurs.  They probably did not have a sail.  Both were around 26 feet long so they were much smaller than the 55-foot-long Spinosaurs from Africa.  The name of one of the new dinosaurs is Ceratosuchops inferodios.  The name means Crocodile from Hell.  But be aware that it was NOT a crocodile, it was a Theropod dinosaur.  By the way, Ceratosuchus was around 6.6 feet at the hips, which makes the head around 8 - 9 feet off the ground. 

The snout of crocodiles and Spinosaurs have sensors to detect fish, even in murky water.  All Spinosaurs appear to all have been fishing dinosaurs, but they probably were also land animal predators when the fishing was bad.
