Here are two new Easter coloring pages.
The first is of Jesus having just risen from the tomb.
This first coloring page is the most important.
The second drawing is of Wise, Old Grandfather Bunny
from the wonderful book:
The Country Bunny And The Little Gold Shoes.
Jesus Has Risen
Jesus Christ IS our Savior. He suffered and died to pay the eternal price for our sins. So we can repent and be forgiven of our sins and one day live with Him and our Heavenly Parents. Because Jesus resurrected we all will be resurrected one day. Our bodies will reunite with our spirit and our new body will be glorious and perfect for all eternity!
Wise Kind Old Grandfather Bunny awards the Little Gold Shoes
I HIGHLY recommend this book. It empowers little girls and anyone who feels marginalized. It was my favorite secular Easter book of my childhood. It has been around since 1939. It was way ahead of its time. The book is called: The Country Bunny And The Little Gold Shoes. I have done several drawings that were inspired by this great book!
The book explains how the Easter Bunny is actually 5 Easter bunnies and when Wise, Kind, Old Grandfather Bunny determines that one of his Easter Bunnies has grown too old and slow for the job he picks a new one from among all the bunnies.
In the story, a little girl country bunny aspires to become an Easter Bunny one day. She is ridiculed and laughed at for her ambition, This story is just so impressive and empowering. I will say no more. But if you have young kids or grandkids you should be reading this book to them.
This book has wonderful illustrations and I have drawn in that style to honor this beautiful book. I have drawn at least one Country Bunny picture each year for several Easter seasons in a row. This drawing is of when the Country Bunny is awarded the magic Little Gold Shoes after she has been very brave and very determined
NOTE: This drawing of Jesus is found by clicking the button labeled: "Holidays." Then scroll down to the Easter section. The title of this drawing will be at the bottom of the Easter drawings. The drawing will also be in the list of Religious drawings as the last drawing in the New Testament section.
The drawing of the Country Bunny and Grandfather Bunny is found by clicking the "Holidays" button. The Country Bunny drawings will also be found by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Science Fiction." Below are some of my other Easter drawings from previous Easter seasons. The printable version the below drawings are found further up the correct list. Have fun coloring..

Now here are the Country Bunny drawings:
Country Bunny Little Girl Bunny
Country Bunny Kids doing Dishes
Country Bunny Hopping
Country Bunny Sweaping Bunnies
Country Bunny Husband and Daddy
(Daddy and Husband Bunny is mentioned in the book but never seen. That is the only weakness of the book. I think a Daddy Bunny teaching his kids to work would fit right into the story. Also, as a husband, he could be portrayed as supporting his wife's ambitions to become an Easter Bunny.)
Country Bunny Getting Married
(Yes, it's not in the book other than being mentioned, but I thought to draw my version of the Country Bunny and her Country Husband's wedding.)
