Today's new drawing is of a Healer Fairy named Darlia.

Darlia the Healer Fairy gathering Watercress

Darlia is a Healer Fairy.  She is seen here gathering watercress.  Watercress is a very healthy vegetable and is full of antioxidants.  It also is absolutely loaded with Vitamin K.  It is also the oldest known vegetable eaten by Man.  Darla knows this.  She is a type of Fairy that believes in eating a very healthy plant-based diet.  In fact, Fairies age much slower than we mortals.  But if you met the beautiful Darlia when she was in her mortal disguise you would think she was a mortal young adult who was barely out of high school.  She looks young because of her Fairy nature but also because of her diet.  

You may not know that some Fairies use their magic to hide their wings inside themselves, transform into mortal size, and then come to get an education and work in the mortal world.  Darlia is one of these.  She works with critically ill patients in a mortal hospital.  She is both kind and friendly.  She is also very skilled.  I was one of the critically ill patients she cared for. 

Darlia has some extended family that lives up in the forested mountains near the mortal community where she lives.  She will change back into her natural Fairy state - which includes being about 5 inches tall and having her beautiful lacewings.  She will then fly up into the mountains and go visit her family who lives in a hallowed out and very nice village under a blue spruce tree on the mountainside. Fairies, in addition to magic, have technology that is far more advanced than mortals.  Their power sources even include neutrino power.
