Hi readers and colorers. I want to make a personal note. This is my last post quite possibly for some time. I am going into the hospital tomorrow for tests and possibly exploratory surgery. When I get back home I will be able to post again. Please pray for me because my health situation is rather critical. Because I have several new drawings that need to be posted I am doing so tonight. I will not be able to write as much about each drawing nor post them in separate posts as I would normally do. Consider this a sampling of my style of coloring pages art. I hope you enjoy coloring them and again, please pray for me. I am now posting each drawing... this will take a while.

Fantasy, Myths, and Circus Drawings:
Fairy with Unicorn Foal
Elena of Avalar and Jaquin - fan art
(from a Disney show called Elena of Avalor)
(This drawing was done from my grandniece's toys.)
Tree Fairies - Chinese Elm Tree Fairy named Yushu
All Elm Trees have non-symmetrical leaves. The Chinese Elm is a very successful tree. It is found widely in towns, cities, and even growing in the wild here in Utah, USA. It is a great shade tree. This Chinese Elm Tree Fairy is guarding her tree. Her name is Yushu... that is the word for Elm in Chinese.
Tree Fairies - Mistletoe Fairy
Mistletoe Fairies gather mistletoe for medicinal uses. However, the berries of the pant are particularly toxic. Some experts feel that all of the plant is toxic in one way or another. Mistletoe is a parasitic plant that attaches itself to certain trees. In spite of the toxicity, there are several traditional medicinal uses for mistletoe. Notice that this Fairy has a knife instead of a wand. It is an enchanted knife that works like a wand but is also useful for cutting mistletoe. Since mistletoe does not lose its leaves it has become a popular Christmas decoration. Tradition indicates you should stand under the mistletoe to get a kiss. If the person standing under the mistletoe refuses a kiss they get bad luck. By the way, the printable version IS darker. The lines are more visible.
Tree Faires - Eastern White Pine Swallowtail Fairy
There are over 500 species of Swallowtail Butterflies. There is a Tree Fairy that lives in the Appalachian Mountains that looks much like a Swallowtail Butterfly. Since Swallowtail Butterflies don't feed on any part of the pine tree you might wonder why this Fairy looks so much like a Swallowtail Butterfly. The answer is that the pine tree provides the shade that the understory plants that have flowers favored by the Swallowtail Butterflies. So this type of Fairy lives under this type of tree. Many Fairy villages are hidden underground under or near a favored tree.
Paleontology drawings:
Titanosaur Mother and Calf
Titanosaurs were the biggest land animals ever to live on Earth. They were the biggest of the Sauropods. They include Argenitosaurus and Patagotitan. Some of the biggest were over 115 feet long and possibly weighed up to 75 tons.
Ceratosaurus near the Forest
Ceratosaurus was a Jurassic Theropod predator that lived at the same time as the much larger Allosaurus. Few Cetatosaurus fossils have been found. It is possible that Ceratosaurs were driven to extinction and replaced in the ecosystem by the larger Allosaurus. Ceratosaurus was around 23 feet or 7 meters long. Allosaurus could grow to up to 40 feet or 12 meters long. Ceratosaurus had 3 horns on its head. It had two brow horns and one nose horn. All the horns were quite short. The horns were probably used for sexual display, not for defense. That means the horns were to impress members of the opposite sex... and of course possibly for species identification.
Sauropod Hatchling
Sauropods hatched from spherical eggs that looked quite a lot like cantaloupe melons. It is amazing to think that the largest land animals on Earth hatched from an egg the size of a cantaloupe. Recent studies via cT scans have shown that baby sauropod, while in the egg, had a nose horn and binocular vision. They lost those trains as they matured. In fact, they may have lost them soon after hatching.
Gastonia and Pteranodon
Gastonia was a Pteranodon with thick dermal armor, but without the clubbed tail that the more well-known Ankylosaurus had. Still, Gastonia was a type for Ankylosaur. Gastonia was an herbivore with a length of 16 feet or about 5 meters. Pteranodon was a common Pterosaur of the Cretaceous Period.
Teloceras was a large rhino with rather short legs that once lived in North America.
Religion Drawings:
Jesus, as a Young Man close to Jerusalem
I know that Jesus is the Savior of us all. I know that he is MY Savior as well. And I know that He can bring me peace in rough times. Tomorrow I may be under the knife and facing a long recovery from thoracic surgery, but I am at peace. I received a blessing . . in fact I received two blessings from both my sons-in-law. I am hopeful and expect to live on the Earth for several more years at least.
