Kailey the Woodland Elf Warrior

Kailey is a Woodland Elf.  She lives in the forest and is loyal to the Woodland Elves Monarch.   She is a perimeter guard.  As such she has to be a scout as well.  She would have been one of the lookouts who spotted Thorin Oakenshield and the other Dwarfs who were with Bilbo.  Of course, Bilbo was using The Ring to hide himself from the Woodland Fairies.... and from the giant spiders.  

Kailey is pictured here with her Elf Made sword.  If the sword looks familiar it is because it is similar to the one you may have seen Arwen use.  Below are photos of this type of sword.  It is called Hadhafang.  All swords modeled after Hadhafang are called the Hadhafang style of sword.  They are very popular with Elves, especially with the Female Elf Warriors.  Some slighter built Male Elf Warriors also use this style of sword.   Hadhafang style swords are lighter than many styles of sword, but they are still very strong.  

Hadhafang swords have Elven runes.  The blade has inscribed on both sides:   i chthol hen, thand arod dan i thang an i arwen'.   In English this means:  this blade is called Hadhafang, a nobel defense against the enemy throng for a noble lady.
