Fantasy Coloring Pages for Wizarding Dayz

Today we are celebrating Fantasy Coloring Page in honor of  WIZARDING DAYZ!  This is a fun event that my wife and I volunteer at every year.  We help run a Potions Class.  We also bring a bunch of my drawings to share at the coloring pages booth at the event.  This year the event is at the Utah State Fair Park on Friday February 28th and Saturday February 29th.

To those of you who picked up my card at Wizarding Dayz... This is a free coloring page blog.  There are hundreds of free printable coloring pages that can be found by clicking on the category buttons at the top of the page.   There are no fees and no ads on this blog.
As I said before, today we are celebrating Fantasy Coloring Pages.
There are hundreds of Fantasy Coloring Pages found by clicking on the
"Fantasy, Myths, and Circus Button"   ...at the top of the page.
Just choose the category that interests you and click.

The first few drawings are new tonight.  Then I will post some of my favorite older fantasy drawings from previous posts.   I write something about everything I draw.
You can read what I wrote in previous posts by scrolling
down this page and clicking on "Older Posts."
I have been doing these drawings now for around four years.  The drawings, in printable form, can be found by clicking on the correct category button up top.  The correct buttons for Fantasy drawings are. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . All Printables . . . . and . . . . . Fantasy, Myths, and Circus.
Scroll down to the bottom of the drop down menu list of drawings for new drawings.
 Have fun coloring!

  Pollination Fairy with a Butterfly
(This is a new drawing today.)

Pollination Fairies are important pollinators in Nature.  You probably won't see them, buecause their powerful Fairy magic hides them from most mortals.  They appear, to most of us, to be a large butterfly or a Lacewing Fly or a Dragonfly.

Pollination Fairies use their wand to magically collect pollen.  They magically hold on to the pollen in a small spherical shape of pollen that they call a "pollen cloud."  The Fairy takes the pollen cloud to a flower of the same species.  This Pollination Fairy is visiting a marigold.  A small butterfly is also visiting this flower.

Wizard and Witch Couple conjuring up some Love
(This is also a new drawing.)

If you have read the Harry Potter books then you know that witches marry wizards.  And like mortals, witches and wizards grow old.  (Unless they have a Sorcerer's Stone to conjure up the Elixir of Life.  This couple includes a small little witch and a tall and large wizard.  But like many mortal marriages, this height and size difference made no difference in how much they loved and love each other.  Little differences make little difference when you are friends first and fall in love with each other from an intense LIKE.

For instance, maybe this witch, before she met her husband, always wanted a man who was closer to her height.  And maybe the wizard always wanted a taller wife...before he met the love of his life.  Sometimes the lists we make as young people seem ridiculous when we fall in love with someone who has the more meaningful traits we love and need in our lives.

Alicorn taking a Flight
(New drawing today)

Alicorns are flying unicorns.  They are also called Horned Pegasus or Pegacorn.  There are other names, but these are the two that I like the most.  I prefer the name Alicorn.  Alicorns came to be when a flying horse or Pegasus mated with a Unicorn.  This fist occurred thousands of years ago.  Although their magic hides them from our eyes, Alicorns are fairly common in the magical world.  When we see what looks like a bird of prey flying and gliding way up high, sometimes it is actually an Alicorn.

Forest Dragon flies over the Forest
(the last of the new drawings today)

Much to the chagrin of humans, forest dragons sometimes start fires.  When a forest is mature and a Forest Dragon determines it is time, it will flame the forest.  Some forest fires that are attributed to lightning are actually started by dragons.  This may make you annoyed, but some forests trees, like the lodgepole pine, require fires.  You see, the lodgepole pine cones need the heat of a fire to open up.  So SOME fires are healthy for a forest... eventually.

I should point out that Man caused fires are not natural.  Those fires may burn a forest that is not totally mature.  And any forest fire can kill a lot of wild animals.  Some forest managers have known to let remote fires burn.  The problem comes when a fire starts to burn human made structures and threaten human settlements and lives.  By the way, Forest Dragons NEVER start fires near human settlements.  And I should add that we owe a great debt of gratitude to our fire fighters.  Several years ago they saved my in-law's town in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Now below are a few of my favorite Fantasy drawings that I have done.  Remember that older drawings are further up the printables lists.  (Newer drawings are at the bottom of the lists.)
