Let Your Light So Shine... Mother and Children
"Let your light so shine before men, (& women and children) that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." This is in the Holy Bible, Matthew 5:16.
This is a quote from the Sermon On The Mount. Jesus taught us to let our light shine so others could see our good works and glorify our Father In Heaven.
Jesus also taught us to not show off our donations to get our reward on Earth. I think that there must be a fine line between the two. But I think that when a mother is teaching her children and doing service to them and others, that she is letting her light shine and her children learn by her example. So keep up the good work, all you wonderful mothers out there!
