Carlia the Healer Fairy

Today's new drawing is of a Healer Fairy.

Carlia the Healer Fairy 

Carlia is a Healer Fairy.  She is one of those Fairies who divides her time between the Fairy Realm and the mortal world.  She was trained in Fairy healing techniques.  She also went to mortal nursing school.  She works in both worlds.  She is caring and kind to her patients.  She is seen here gathering watercress for medicinal use in her Fairy Healing.  

Watercress grows in flowing streams.  It has several health benefits, including high in antioxidants and vitamins.  Plus it promotes bone health, lowers cholesterol, and is an anti-inflammatory.  Calia is a Fairy so her natural size is about 5 inches tall.  But, like all Fairies, she can transform into mortal size.  Here she is gathering the watercress in mortal size.  Of course, when working as a nurse among mortals, she is in mortal size and she can magically internalize her wings and cloak her pointed Fairy ears.  

I understand that Carlia is married to a mortal. Her children also have Fairy traits. They can choose to live in the mortal world, the Fairy Realm, or both... like their mother does.
