Joshua at the Battle of Jericho
Joshua was an earl leader of the people of Israel. He went up against the then very wicked city of Jericho. Jericho was known for its high impenetrable walls. Joshua, with the Lord's guidance and clear miraculous help won the battle. God caused the walls to fall down and the Children of Israel conquered the city. This story of how the city was conquered is amazing and it is found in the Holy Bible in the book of Joshua Chapter 6.
This drawing shows Joshua at the front of his army. You have the same view of Joshua and the falling walls of Jericho that his soldiers would have had. The sword he is carrying is based on the ancient swords of Israel found in Palestine and now in museums.
