This is my free coloring pages blog.

There are over 2000 pages to print and color.

Today's new page is of a Swan on a pond with a cygnet.

(New Drawing)

Black-necked Swan with Cygnets

(New Drawing)

Swans, in my opinion, are the most beautiful bird on the planet.  They are waterfowl with long graceful necks and when they swim they also LOOK graceful  There are 7 species of swan.  The biggest species of the swan is the Trumpeter Swan.  They are about 6 feet or 1.8 meters long and they have a wingspan of 10 feet or 3 meters.

Although most species of swans are primarily white, there are also Black Neck Swans and Black Swans.  There are Mute Swans and Whistling Swans.

NOTE:  These drawings are found, in printable form, by clicking on the "Animals" button and then scrolling down.  The new drawings are at the bottom of the list. Sorry if you tried to print either of the two new drawings right after I published them.  I noticed tonight that I forgot to post the printable PDF files.  The two new drawings are not available to print by clicking on the "Animals" button.  New drawings are at the bottom of the list.

Flower Fairies Alyssiana the Rose Fairy and other Flower Fairy coloring pages

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a Flower Fairy.

More specifically She is a very beautiful Rose Fairy.

Allysiana the Rose Fairy

Allysianna is a beautiful blonde Flower Fairy.  More specifically, she is a Rose Fairy.  She has been napping among some roses and she did not want to risk being scratched so she had magically removed the thorns from the closest roses.

Allysiana is a truly nice fairy.  She prefers plant-based clothing.  In fact, she prefers leaf-based clothing.  This gives her excellent camouflage in a rosebush.  These are cultivated roses, but she also loves wild roses as well.

Since roses are very symbolic she uses her magic to influence mortals who are choosing flowers.  So sometimes she actually hangs out in florist shops to help mortals choose the right rose for the specific situation.  She will turn invisible and minimize herself to even smaller than this.  Then she will fly up to a mortal flower customer's ear to whisper suggestions.

NOTE:  This drawing is found, in printable form, by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list of drawings to get your printable drawing.  Below are some other Flower Fairies to print and color.  Of course, these older drawings are found further up the list of drawings.  Have fun coloring!

Black Bear vs Young Bison coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog!

Today I reached 125,000 hits from 50+ countries.

Today's new drawing is drawn from photos I took in Yellowstone National Park a few years ago.

There was one photo of a Black Bear and another photo of a Bison.

So I combined the two to make one drawing.

Black Bear vs Young Bison

This is a young sub-adult bison.  He is facing off against a fully grown black bear. Fully grown adult bison bulls can be up to 2,200 lbs. or almost 1,000 kg.  An adult female can be up to 1,200 lbs. or 544 kg.

The largest black bear ever taken was 902 lbs or 409 kg.  Black bears are much smaller than Grizzly bears.  Large male black bears are up to 7 feet tall.  That is 2.23 meters tall.

NOTE:  This drawing, in printable form, is found by clicking on the "Animals" button and scrolling down to the bottom of the list. Below are the photos I took in Yellowstone that I used for models for the animals.  Notice that the Black Bear is actually scratching his back on a tree stump.  And the Bison in the photo is full-grown... but I drew it as a sub-adult.  Both animals are modified in my coloring page drawing, of course.

Two new Unicorn coloring pages for children

Welcome to my blog!  It is a free coloring pages blog.

Today's 2 new drawings are drawings for kids to color and they are of Unicorns.

Big Horned Unicorn

Big Horned Unicorns have much thicker horns than most other Unicorns.  This is a young Big Horned Unicorn so although her horn is thick, it has not yet grown long.  She is seen on a ledge overlooking a valley.

Unicorn with Elderly Fairy

This drawing is of a Unicorn with an elderly Fairy.  Fairies can live on and on for hundreds of years, although most will choose to make the passage into the Spirit Life when they are around 100 years old.  Fairies do not age at the same rate as mortals.  Fairies age much slower.  So, Hannalia here, (that is the Fairy's name.) had more work to do on Earth than most Fairies so she chose to stay on Earth for over 500 years.  Hannalia does not appear physically to be super-elderly.  But she is.  She has been friends with Unicorns her entire life.  So here she is giving an apple to her friend, Equalia the Unicorn.

NOTE:  These two drawings, in printable form, are found by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list of drawings to find these two new drawings.

A Fairy and a Rider of Rohan from Parallel Universes

Welcome to two different Universes..

One universe is full of magical Fairies.

Another is written about by JRR Tolkein.

Or maybe Middle Earth is the early story of our world in THIS universe.

Or perhaps the universe of Fairies belongs to the same universe as us.

 Ashlia the Grass Fairy

Ashlia's favorite types of plants are monocots or grasses.  That means that corn on the cob is her favorite food.  I think next time I draw a Grass Fairy I will draw her with corn plants.  Grass Fairies sometimes have spectacular multi-part wings.,. like the beautiful Ashlia.

In an alternate universe, this young female warrior is or was a different kind of being.  (See below.)  But the two of them look almost exactly alike... except for the wings.  And of course, the Fairy wears leaves or plant-based clothing & the Rider of Rohan wears armor.  And the Fairy is armed with a wand.  The Rider of Rohan is armed with a sword.  Also, the Fairy is seen here in her Fairy size of 5 inches tall.

Ashlowynn another Female Rider of Rohan

Ashlowynn is a version of Ashlia.  But in Ashlowynn's universe, she is a Rider of Rohan, not a Fairy.  Female Riders of Rohan became acceptable and even common after Eowynn proved her capability and her bravery when she killed the Witch King of Agmar.  Ashlowynn is seen here standing on a rock with her steed standing somewhat behind her.  She is in full Rohan armor, minus the helmet.  Her armor is chainmail with a leather vest and leather pads that start at her waist and go to her mid-thigh.

NOTE:  These drawings are found, in printable form, by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list for these two drawings.  New drawings are always at the bottom of the drop-down menu or list of drawings.

Alia the Pet Fairy with Kodiak

Welcome back to my free coloring pages blog.

Sorry, it has been a few days since I posted.  I had cataract surgery.

Today the new drawing is of a Pet Fairy and a little lost doggy.

Alia the Pet Fairy with Kodiak

Alia is a Pet Fairy.  So she cares for pets.  She especially looks out for lost pets like this little doggy Kodiak.  You might be thinking, "That does not look like a little doggy.  But it is.  Alia, like all Fairies, can change to mortal form OR she can stay about 5 inches tall.  Also, she can change any size in between.  Here she is about the size of a 3 or 4-year-old mortal child.  Kodiak is actually a small puppy.

NOTE:  This drawing, in printable form, can be found by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."  Then scroll down to the bottom of the list.  New drawings are at the bottom of the list.

Drawings of Jesus for Children to Color

These are some new drawings of Jesus that I did during Church.

They are not perfect but I drew them as I was thinking about Him.

IF you are a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints then

you know it is General Conference this weekend.  If you have children with

you then these drawings could be printed for the kids to color during

the conference sessions.   Of course, there are many more religious drawings

that can be found by clicking on the "Religious" button.

Jesus right after His Resurrection

After we die we go to dwell in the Spirit World as Spirits.  Spirits are eternal and never die. Because Jesus Christ was resurrected we ALL will one day be resurrected with perfect immortal physical bodies.  Or Spirit will reunite with our new immortal body.  Below is our granddaughter's colored version of the drawing.  She colored it during conference.

Jesus right after His Resurrection

(Colored version)

Jesus heals a Blind Man

Jesus healed the sick, made the blind see, and the deaf to hear.

Jesus prays by an Olive Press in the Garden of Gethsemane

Jesus said, after His resurrection, "I have trodden the winepress alone."  The winepress was His suffering as he performed the Atonement for all our sins. So, I thought it might be interesting to show him by an olive press in the Garden where he first started to pay the eternal price for our sins.

NOTE:  The line drawings will be found, in printable form, by clicking on the button labeled, "Religious" and then scrolling to the bottom of the New Testament part of the list.  The colored drawing is not available to print, it is just an example. of how you COULD color the drawing.

Have fun coloring!
