Tyrannosaurus rex Mother in the Spring

So, I really should be asleep, but I had an unfinished mother T. rex drawing.   So I finished it and I am posting it for you.  After all, it IS spring!   In the current climate often young animals are born or hatched in the spring.  Baby birds usually hatch in the spring in temperate climates.  So, I drew a mother Tyrannosaurus rex carrying her chick.  Near the end of the Cretaceous Period there was a huge upsurge of volcanic activity.  So perhaps only one of the T. rex mother's eggs survived to hatch.  Here the mother is carrying her chick in her mouth.  This is a good inference since crocodiles and alligators carry their young in their mouth.  IF you wonder about the lack of spots on the chick...well, some baby animals are born with their markings and some are born plain or monotone and develop their spots later. Think, Dalmatian dogs who are born white and develop their black spots later.
