Tree Fairy on a Branch coloring page

This is my free coloring pages blog.

There are over 2600 free drawings that I have drawn that you can print and color.

Today the new drawing is of a Tree Fairy who is sitting on a branch.

Tree Fairy on a Branch

Tree Fairies usually are attracted to only one species of tree.  This is Xiannu, a Chinese Tree Fairy who specializes in saplings or younger trees.  She is in her natural 5-inch tall form so you know this is a small tree.  The leaf size should let you know that as well.  I forgot to mention that  Xiannu is a very young Fairy of only around 12-14 years old or so.  Fairies mature to adulthood at the same speed as mortals.  But Fairies age much slower than mortals  - once the Fairy reaches adulthood. Youthful Tree Fairies are often attracted to caring for saplings or young trees.

Nevadadromeus the Nevada Runner Dinosaur coloring page

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a newly discovered and named dinosaur from Nevada, USA.

Nevadadromeus the Nevada Runner Dinosaur

Nevadadromeus was a small herbivorous dinosaur.  It was about the size of a turkey.  But it was around 5 ft. 11 in. long.  That is 1.8 meters.  It was a fast runner so it got the Genus name Nevadadromeus or Nevada runner.  It was found in Nevada.  Its species name honors a paleontologist who was at Montana State University, Jim Schmitt.  He found dinosaurs at Nevada's Valley of Fire. The full scientific name is:  Nevadadromeus schmittii.

Nevadadromeus was a small dinosaur that has been called the sheep of the Cretaceous Period.  It was certainly a prey species of other dinosaurs.  The carnivorous dinosaurs would have eaten them, although it would have only been a snack for some of the larger carnivores.  It clearly evolved the fast-running traits so it had a chance at getting away from the predators.

You may have noticed the beak.  It DID have a beak but it had teeth in its jaws for chewing plants in it.

Nevadadromeus lived around 100 million years ago.  If that makes you wonder about the grass in the drawing then let me explain.   Phytoliths are silica structures in plants.  They fossilized very well.  Scientists have evaluated coprolites from the huge Titanosaur dinosaurs from as far back as 100.5 million years ago.  That would be the early Cretaceous.  They found grass phytoliths!  So although grass really blossomed after the dinosaurs.  It DID live with the dinosaurs.  Other coprolites from Hadrosaurs (duck-billed dinos) have shown evidence of 5 different species of grass in the form of grass pollen.  So grass had evolved enough to exist in multiple species.

So since Nevadadromeus was so small and low to the ground, it probably DID eat grass, among other things like ferns.

Jesus near Jerusalem coloring page

This is my free coloring pages blog.

There are hundreds of drawings that I have done that you can print to color.

Today's new drawing is of Jesus.

Jesus near Jerusalem

Jesus is our Savior.  He paid the eternal price for our sins.  Because we are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints we have the Book of Mormon Another Testament of Christ.  In 2 Nephi, chapter 2 we learn that redemption comes through the Holy Messiah... who is Jesus Christ. HIS resurrection opens the door for all of us to be resurrected one day with immortal and perfect bodies.  That means a lot to someone like me who has multiple health problems.

NOTE:  This free coloring page is found, in printable form, by clicking on the "Religion" button and scrolling down to the bottom of the "New Testament" section of religious pages.  By the way, this is how I picture Jesus.  Have fun coloring.

M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank & AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopter coloring page

Welcome or welcome back to my free coloring pages blog.

This blog has over 2500 drawings that you can print and color.

Today's new drawing is of an M1 Main Battle Tank and an AH-64 Main Battle Tank.

M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank &

AH-64 Attack Helicopter

The M1 Abrams main battle tank is one of the more modern tanks.  It is one of the heaviest tanks at 68 tons.  It is 32 feet long, if you count the length of how long the tank is if you count the gun when it is pointed forward.  The hull itself is 26 feet long.  This tank has been in service since 1979 and has had several upgrades and there are 3 models... The M1, the M1A1, and the M1A2,  The M1 Abrams is 12 feet wide.

The main armament of the M1 is a 105 mm rifled gun.  Later models have a 120 mm gun.  The tank also has 3 machine guns.  One machine gun is a 0.50 caliber and the other two machine guns are 7.62 mm guns.  The main gun has a tank-killing range of 2500 meters or 8200 feet.  Some versions of the M1 have depleted uranium in the armor.  Uranium is very very dense and if it is depleted it is no longer radioactive.

The AH-64 Apache is an attack helicopter.  It has been produced since 1975.  Many analysts think it is the best attack helicopter.  There are many versions of this attack helicopter.

The Apache has the armament of a 30 mm cannon.  It also can carry 70 rockets and some Hellfire missiles.  The most recent version of the chopper is called the Longbow.  The Apache is 58 feet long so in this drawing, the helicopter must be somewhat in the distance.  The helicopter is NOT right above the tank. The radar dome tells us this is the most advanced version called the Lingbow.

The AH-64 Helicopter will apparently eventually be replaced by the V-280 Valor. The Valor will also replace the Blackhawk helicopter.

Racheliah the River Fairy coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a beautiful Water Fairy named Racheliah.

Racheliah the River Fairy

Recheliah is a River Fairy.  She is seen here holding her wand. As you can see, she has butterfly-like wings.  All Faires can use their magic and advanced tech to change into mortal size.  Here, Racheliah is in mortal size as she wades in the shallows of the river.  She is possibly also a Healer Fairy and she is looking for watercress.  OR she is possibly a Wildlife Fairy and she is guarding or looking after ducks, or possibly otters.  Fairies can have multiple interests.

Unicorns with Fairies - 8 coloring pages

Welcome or welcome back to my free coloring pages blog!

Today I am posting 6 drawings of a Unicorn with either a male or female Fairy.

Usually, we think of Fairies as female so the drawing or picture titles say

"Fairy..." or "Unicorn with Fairy" if it is a female Fairy in the drawing.

If it is a male Fairy then it will say "Male Fairy" in the title.

Some of these drawings are quite similar.  In fact, they all are similar,

but some are even more similar to each other.

I ran out of time so these drawings will be in the printable section of this blog tomorrow afternoon.

Unicorn & Fairy and Glowing Apple

(Notice that the apple is the light source.)

Unicorn & Male Fairy with Apple

(This is a male Fairy and a male Unicorn.)

Unicorn with swooping Tartan Fairy

(Tartan is the Scottish word for plaid.  So this is a Scottish Fairy. Her version of plaid or Tartan

is quite unique to the Fairies.  It is a slant-ways plaid pattern.)

Unicorn & Sparkling Apple Fairy

(Notice that these last two drawings are based on the same Unicorn... with modifications.)

Tai Kwon Do Kid Simon knocks down the Bounce Bag with a Flying Side Kick coloring page

Welcome or welcome back to my free coloring pages blog!

I don't do many sports drawings but I started this one yesterday and finished it today.

Tai Kwon Do Kid Simon knocks down the Bounce Bag with a Flying Side Kick

Simon is only 5 years old but he is already an Orange Belt in Tai Kwon Do.  He goes to great lengths to excel in Tai Kwon Do.  He is the smallest boy in his Tai Kwon Do class but he is not the lowest rank of white belt.  He was SO proud of himself when he knocked the bounce bag down with a flying sidekick.  He actually knocked it down flat to the floor several times.  Bounce bags fall and then right themselves back up to an upright position.  This was the first time Si had ever knocked the bounce bag all the way down to the mat.  So good job Simon!  I told him that I would draw him kicking the bag so this is that drawing.

I love Tai Kwon Do.  I myself am an Advance Green Belt.
