Happy Mother's Day 2024 with a Young Mother Fairy and Her Baby Fairy and other Mother & Offspring coloring pages

 Happy Mother's Day Everyone...

Especially to the great women in our lives!

Today's first new drawing is of a young Fairy Mother.

She is also a Night Fairy, a Mushroom Fairy, and a Moth Fairy.

The second new drawing is of a Mother Rock Fairy with her daughter.

Young Mother Fairy and Her Baby

This is Ilia who is a Mother Fairy.  Her baby is on a mushroom behind her and Mom is looking back at her baby.  The baby is smaller than you might expect but this is true of Fairy Babies.  They are born relatively smaller in comparison to their mother.  The baby Fairy carries a strong concealment charm so she is lighter and more difficult to see, even for mortals who have the "Fairy Vision" gift.

Ilia is a Night Fairy so she is usually more active an night or nocturnal.  She loves moths so she is seen here charming a moth.  Or perhaps this moth is her friend.  She is NOT using light to attract the moth also she can do that as well.  As you can see, these are both Mushroom Fairies.  The mom gathers mushrooms for the Fairy village where she and her baby AND her husband live.

Fairy infants are relatively small in comparison to the mother/infant size ratio in mortals.  Yet the infants grow very fast at first.  The mother Fairy in this drawing has set her baby on a small mushroom.  But the mother has also enacted a safety charm that keeps the baby on the mushroom so she does not fall off.  That charm also contributes to the difficulty for mortals to be able to see the baby.

This first drawing shows the Mother and Daughter Fairy in their natural 5-inch or so normal Fairy size.  All Fairies can also change to mortal size if they wish.  In fact, they can go back and forth between mortal and Fairy size... and any size in between.

Mother's Day Card with Mother Rock Fairy and Daughter

This is a new drawing done just now in Church.  I was planning on only doing ONE new Mother's Day drawing this year.  But the inspiration for doing another drawing was a mother and her daughters who all have lovely long cascading hair with wavy curls.  They were sitting in front of us today in Sacrament Meeting.  Sacrament Meeting is our large group meeting for we members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  I draw during Church because then I don't fall asleep AND my ADHD brain can pay attention better in Church if I am drawing.  Thank you to this nice family.  They are a beautiful family that is more than just beautiful on the outside.  And THAT kind of beauty is far more important.

Now, about Rock Fairies.  Rock Fairies might be called Geologists if they lived among us mortals.  In fact, quite a few Geologists are part Fairy.  Here we see a Mother Rock Fairy who is out among the rocks.  The mother is holding onto a couple of rocks and her daughter is examining a rock.  (Although you can't see that the daughter is holding a rock.)  The mother is teaching her daughter all about rock identification.  I married a geologist so I know all about them.  I wonder if my wife is part Fairy because she doesn't age like a normal mortal.  Fairies age slower than mortals, even though Fairy babies grow quickly at first.

This mother and daughter Fairy have changed to mortal size to examine larger rocks.  Of course they can return to their Fairy size at will.

NOTE:  To get to the printable version of these drawings just click on the button labeled "Holidays." Then scroll down to the bottom of the Mother's Day picture titles.  OR these coloring page drawings will be the last drawings on the list of the Fantasy, Myths, and Circus drawings.  At least they will be if you are accessing this on Mother's Day, 2024.  Have fun coloring.  AND you could print the first drawing and write "Happy Mother's Day" on it and give it to your mom for Mother's Day.  The second drawing already has that greeting on it..  So just color it and maybe fold it in half then give it to your mother. Below are a few other recent Mother & offspring drawings that could serve the same purpose.  Also, there are several other Mother's Day drawings and cards on the list when you click on "Holidays."
