3 More Mermaid coloring pages

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawings are of 3 different Mermaids.

Tracia the Mommy Mermaid

I last drew Tracia when she was expecting. Well, the merbaby arrived a while ago. His name is Mikey!  As you can see, Tracia sometimes is a Treasure Mermaid as well. Here she has found a priceless giant diamond and a chest of treasure. Her baby, Mikey, is swimming nearby. Baby Merpeople can swim as soon as they are born. Of course, they can also extract oxygen from the water with their specialized lungs. A Mereperson can get oxygen from both the air and from water.

Can you spot the sea anemone and a clownfish?  How about the shark, the two jellyfish, the clams, the starfish, the sea turtle, and the eel?  There is also a small striped tropical fish and a brain coral.

A Young Mercouple in Love

This is a pair of Merpeople who are in love. They are meeting at a seastack that is in shallow water. You can see a cruise ship off in the distance. Some Merpeople like to appear briefly to cruise passengers to give them a thrill.

Can you spot the clam? How about the starfish, the crab, the brain coral, two fish, and several barnacles on the seastack? There is also a pair of Laughing Gulls. These gulls are one of the species of gulls with a black head. Only the male has a black head.  Laughing Gulls are common all along the East Coast of North America.  With that in mind, is this the Pacific or the Atlantic Ocean?

Cruise Mermaid on the Dunes by a Beach

This is Playa a Cruise Mermaid. She also could also be called a Beach Mermaid. As was mentioned earlier, some Merpeople like to give cruiseship passaners a brief glimpse. Playa can, like all Mermaids and Mermen, can transform into mortal form.

The Trident that Playa is holding is like a wand that Fairies carry. In fact, some people think that Merpeople are actually a type of Water Fairy or Ocean Fairy.  These sentient beings live in cities under the sea and they use their magic to keep hidden from mortal eyes.
