Tulip Butterfly Fairy on a Cloudy Day

You have found my free coloring page blog.

Or maybe you are a returning fan.

Today's new drawing is of a type of Flower Fairy who is also a Butterfly Fairy.

Tulip Butterfly Fairy on a Clouy Day

This is a type of Flower Fairy. She is also a type of Butterfly Fairy. Her name is, appropriately, Tulipia. She is seen here with three butterflies. She has wings similar to these butterflies. They are called Papilia rey butterflies. (I admit that I made that up. But they ARE similar to a viceroy or monarch butterfly.)

Tulipia is leaeding some butterflies on a cloudy day, so she has ignited a magic lamplight on the end of her wand. This allows the butterflies to see the tulips they are seeking. Yes, butterflies DO help pollinate tulips. Notice that the shadows indicate that the wand is the primary light source on this cloudy day.

NOTE: This drawing is found in printable form by clicking on the button labeled "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus." Then scroll down to the bottom of the list of drawings.  New drawings are at the bottom of the lists. Also, the drawing will be at or near the bottom of the list if you are accessing this in February or March, 2026.  Have fun coloring!

Portrait of Resurrected Jesus

This is my free coloring page blog with over 3000 coloring pages for you to print and color!

Today's new drawing is a simple portrait of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

 Resurrected Jesus side-view portrait

This portrait shows our Savior Jesus Christ AFTER His resurrection. But his life did not start at His birth in Bethlehem. He lived with us as our elder spirit brother. We had Heavenly Parents in what could be called our pre-mortal life. Some people call it a "pre-existence.

Jesus volunteered to be our Savior. He volunteered to pay the eternal price or punishment for our sins. Then we were sent to Earth to be tested. We all sin. Jesus Christ performed His atonement in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross so that we would have the opportunity to repent.

Jesus earthly mother was Mary, a mortal. But his father was our Heavenly Father. So Jesus was actually very powerful. He COULD have stopped the crucifixion, but He went through the terrible pain because He loved us. He STILL loves us. If we keep God's commandments and repent when we don't... then we will be able to live again one day with Him and our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother. We also will be able to live with our worthy family members - including our spouse if we have been sealed for time and all eternity in one of Heavenly Father's Temples.

NOTE: This drawing is found in printable form by clicking on the button labeled New Testament then scrolling down to the bottom of the list. I will also place it in the "Portraits" section. New drawings are found at the bottom of the correct list.

Triceratops near a Waterfall

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a waterfall from the Mesozoic Era.

Triceratops near a Waterfall

Triceratops was a 30-foot-long herbivore from the Late Cretaceous of North America. It weighed  6-10 metric tonnes or between 13,000 and 22,000 lbs. That is a maximum of 11 English tons. Triceratops had a ball-joint on its neck so its long brow horns could be swung like parallel swords. It probably used its horns for both sexual display and to defend itself from Tyrannosaurs.

Triceratops is actually my favorite dinosaur. It was so impressive I think. It certainly traveled in herds, and the males possibly jousted for females. There is a theory that the frill was able to be flushed with blood to make it possibly red and make the dinosaur look more fierce.  There is also an idea that it may have had eye spots on the frill. Eye spots would make it look bigger to predators.

Look for 3 Triceratops, an Ankylosaurus, and a few Pteranodons.

NOTE:  This drawing or coloring page I drew for you... can be printed, and you or your kids can color it. Just click on the "Paleontology" button. Then scroll down to the bottom of the "Mesozoic Life" section. IF you are accessing this site in February or March of 2026, then this drawing will be at or near the bottom of the Mesozoic portion of the list.

We went to a dinosaur encounter with I Heart Cookies. We bought a cookie for our 3 grandkids and got to see the animatronic dinos up close. There was a spectacular mural on the side of one of the semi trucks, and I was inspired. It was a painting of a couple of Triceratops near a waterfall. See below:

2 Dinosaurs & a Pterosaur of Southeast Asia

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's drawing is of Mesozoic animals that lived in Southeast Asia.

2 Dinosaurs & a Pterosaur of Southeast Asia

These four animals lived in what is now Southeast Asia during the Cretaceous Period.  All were found in Thailand and probably existed in nearby countries like Vietnam. Vietnam has a lot of Cretaceous Period rock that shows that dinosaur ecosystems existed there.

In the foreground is Siamosaurus suteethorni. It was a medium-sized Spinosaur from what is now Thailand. It was somewhere between 17 and 30 feet long. That is around 5-9 meters long. It is known only from teeth, so this drawing is based on other Spinosaurs found in other parts of the world, like Baryonyx. Spinosaur teeth are very conical and were used for spearing fish. So here Siamosaurus is seen about to spear a sawfish with its long, straight teeth. Siamosaurus may also have fed on Pterosaurs when it could catch them off guard.

Far off in the background, you see a Titanosaur. This is Phuwiangosaurus sirindhornae... a medium-sized Sauropod. It was around 50 feet and possibly up to 65 feet long.  That is 15 to 20 meters long. It fed on plants and was possibly the largest animal in the ecosystem. The local Spinosaurs would have left a full-grown, healthy Phuwiangosaurus alone. Besides, it appears all Spinosaurs fed more on fish than large dinosaurs. Although there is evidence (as mentioned above) that Spinosaurs may have fed on Pterosaurs occasionally.

The Pterosaurs seen in the sky are Garudapterus buffetauti. This flying reptile is NOT a dinosaur, but it lived with dinosaurs in the Mesozoic Era - including the Cretaceous Period. Garudapterus was a smaller type of Pterosaur. But it was not tiny either. It had a wingspan of about 8 feet or 2.5 meters wide. Like the Spinosaurs, it was primarily a piscivore or fish-eater.

NOTE: This drawing or coloring page is found in printable form by clicking on the button labeled "Paleontology." Then scroll down to the bottom of the "Mesozoic Life" part of the list. If you are accessing this page in February 2026, then you will find this coloring page at that part of the list. New drawings are placed at the bottom of the correct list.

Livia the Catwoman & other Catwomen coloring pages

You have found my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a Catwoman.

Livia the Catwoman in Her Garden

This is Livia the Catwoman. She is seen here in her garden. Can you guess what she is planting?  It is a plant that cats really like.  Livia is a beautiful person. She is from another planet other than Earth. You see, when God said that He created Man and Woman in His own image, he was referring to their spirits. The BODIES of sentient beings throughout the Milky Way Galaxy are all humanoid, yet not all are just like the humans on Earth.

Livia is considered to be a strikingly beautiful person on her planet. These Catpeople live on the Planet Felis. They choose a simple life at home, yet they are an advanced civilization that rivals the technology we have here on Earth. However, they have chosen to use their technology to preserve their planet. They are far more responsiblecaretakers of their planet than Man has been of Earth.

Livia is planting - you guessed it - catnip. You see, the Felisians have advanced spaceships and have secretly visited Earth. They discovered catnip and took some home to cultivate it. Catnip triggers a euphoric and happy response in cats... and in the Catpeople of the Planet Felis.  It is cultivated in home gardens. It is non-addictive and, in the opinion of the Catpeople, catnip is the best thing they found on Planet Earth.

Livia is beautiful both inside and out. The Catpeople or the Felisians value a kind soul and an intelligent mind. They consider the personality of a person to be more than half of their beauty. All Felisians are covered in fur except on their face, palms, and pads of their feet. They consider that their fur preserves their modesty. They wear clothing for work, such as their "catronauts" who travel in space. The castronauts wear spacesuits that are similar to human spacesuits. Of course, a catronaut suit has a space for the tail. Livia is seen here in her garden and not at work. So she is not wearing her work clothing, a spacesuit. She is, in fact, one of the Felisian catronauts who visited Earth.

I should add that other planets have deer-like animals and bird-like animals... like the ones seen in the background of this coloring page.

Tyrannosaurus was BIGGER than previously thought.

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today the new drawing is of a large, robust, female T. rex.

Big Mamma T. rex

Recent research has suggested that Tyrannosaurus rex may have been considerably bigger than previously thought. Studies show that T. rex may have matured more slowly than previously thought and grown to close to 50 feet or 15 meters long and weighed up to 15 tons! That is 30,000 lbs or   13,608 kg.  So, T. rex may have been 70% heavier and 25% longer than previously thought.

This drawing shows a very hefty mamma Tyrannosaurus rex. She is drawn heavier than you would think. It is thought that perhaps the female T. rex was larger than the male, as in most birds of prey. The more gracile T. rex are thought to have been males. The more robust T. rex are thought to have been females.

So this Big Mamma would possibly have weighed 15 tons or 30,000 lbs and been nearly 50 feet long!

About the volcano: notice that it is experiencing an ash and lava eruption. This type of simultaneous ash and lava eruption often happens with stratovolcanoes.

NOTE: This drawing, or this coloring page, in printable form, is found by clicking on the "Paleontology" button. Then scroll down to the bottom of the Mesozoic Life section to see this title and print this picture.

The Prophet Nephi from His Garden Tower

This is my free coloring pages blog. Today I am posting a drawing I did in church.

It is the prophet Nephi speaking to the people from his garden tower.

Prophet Nephi from His Garden Tower

THIS Nephi is not the Nephi who traveled to the New World from Jerusalem. This Nephi is from over 500 years later. He was the prophet when his people, the Nephites, were going downhill as far as keeping the commandments. In other words, they were BREAKING the commandments.  Gadianton Robbers controlled the corrupt government. Gadianton Robbers were gangsters or organized crime. The people were full of wickedness and pride.

This is an amazing story. Nephi had a garden tower. He lived by the road that led to the main marketplace. He was so upset at the wickedness of the people that he went onto his tower to pray. Passersby heard Nephi's prayer, and a crowd started to gather. Nephi stood and began addressing the crowd and condemning the wickedness of the people and the wickedness of their government. He testified about Jesus and reminded the people about former prophets who testified about the Son of God.

Nephi even prophesied that the Chief Judge had been murdered by his own brother.  (The Chief Judge was the executive of the government, like a president or prime minister.) This Chief Judge and his followers were corrupt and evil. Nephi testified of their wickedness.

Nephi told the people that both the dead Chief Judge and the murderer were both members of the band of Gadianton Robbers. The people sent runners to check, and sure enough, the Chief Judge was dead, having been murdered.

Some people accused Nephi of being involved in the killing. They arrested him and took him before other corrupt judges. Nephi did something that proved his innocence and revealed the murderer. Nephi told the people to send a man to talk to the brother of the Chief Judge. It is kinda complicated, but the killer confessed that he killed his own brother, and the killer even exonerated Nephi.

Nephi was freed and left alone. He was instructed by God to go among the people and call them unto repentance. A great war broke out among the Nephites. Nephi smote the land with a draught or famine when he saw that the people were about to be destroyed by war. The famine killed many of the most wicked people ammd the remainder repented. Then Nephi asked the Lord to send rain again.

Read all about it in The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Christ. The story is found in Heleman chapters 7-9.  By the way, Chapter 10 is where you read about how the prophet Nephi is given great power to bring his people unto repentance.

A quick note about the drawing: The clothing is similar to clothing worn by the people of ancient North America... particularly the people of the Mound Builder cultures. Some people think that the Book of Mormon events happened along the Mississippi River valley and nearby areas.

3 More Mermaid coloring pages

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawings are of 3 different Mermaids.

Tracia the Mommy Mermaid

I last drew Tracia when she was expecting. Well, the merbaby arrived a while ago. His name is Mikey!  As you can see, Tracia sometimes is a Treasure Mermaid as well. Here she has found a priceless giant diamond and a chest of treasure. Her baby, Mikey, is swimming nearby. Baby Merpeople can swim as soon as they are born. Of course, they can also extract oxygen from the water with their specialized lungs. A Mereperson can get oxygen from both the air and from water.

Can you spot the sea anemone and a clownfish?  How about the shark, the two jellyfish, the clams, the starfish, the sea turtle, and the eel?  There is also a small striped tropical fish and a brain coral.

A Young Mercouple in Love

This is a pair of Merpeople who are in love. They are meeting at a seastack that is in shallow water. You can see a cruise ship off in the distance. Some Merpeople like to appear briefly to cruise passengers to give them a thrill.

Can you spot the clam? How about the starfish, the crab, the brain coral, two fish, and several barnacles on the seastack? There is also a pair of Laughing Gulls. These gulls are one of the species of gulls with a black head. Only the male has a black head.  Laughing Gulls are common all along the East Coast of North America.  With that in mind, is this the Pacific or the Atlantic Ocean?

Cruise Mermaid on the Dunes by a Beach

This is Playa a Cruise Mermaid. She also could also be called a Beach Mermaid. As was mentioned earlier, some Merpeople like to give cruiseship passaners a brief glimpse. Playa can, like all Mermaids and Mermen, can transform into mortal form.

The Trident that Playa is holding is like a wand that Fairies carry. In fact, some people think that Merpeople are actually a type of Water Fairy or Ocean Fairy.  These sentient beings live in cities under the sea and they use their magic to keep hidden from mortal eyes.

B-1 Bomber escorted by F-15s

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a B-1 Bomber and two Fighter Aircraft.

B-1 Bomber escorted by F-15s

The B-1 Bomber is a large bomber operated by the United States Air Force. It has the highest payload of any bomber currently in the Air Force.  It can carry up to 75,000 lbs or 34,000 kg of munitions - and that is just internally. It has a wingspan of 137 feet when extended. But the wings can swing to be swept back and then they are only 75 feet wide. It is 146 feet long. Fully loaded the B-1 weighs up to 470,000 lbs.

The B-1 Bomber has a range of 7,500 miles or 12,000 km. It has a maximum speed of 900 mph... or about Mach 1.25. That means 1.25 x the speed of sound... or 1,148 kph. By the way, the range can be extended by mid-air refuling.

This B-1 is being excorted by 2 F-15 Fighters. The F-15 has never lost an air to air fight ever. It is now being produced in a new and modern form called the F-15EX. This newest version has all the bells and whistles. It has modern radar, fly by wire controls, etc. etc. That etc. includes an amazingly fast and powerful computer and digital displays.

The F-15EX is about 64 feet long. It has a wingspan of about 43 feet. It has a top speed of Mach 2.5 or 1,900 mph or 2,655 kph. So it can fly 2.5 x the speed of sound. The speed of sound is 761 mph at sea level. Of course that speed changes depending upon the elevation - density of the air.  The F-15EX is the fastest USA fighter aircraft. It may be the fastest fighter jet in the world.

The B-1 was built years ago. It is still in service, but althought it IS supersonic, AKA very fast, it is not a stealth aircraft. The F-15 was introduced five decades ago, but the newest version is being built now and has many modern systems. The F-15EX will be in service for many years to come. The B-1 will probably be retired sometime around 2035. However, the even older B-52 is being upgraded and will continue in service many more years. I wonder if the B-1 might get modernized rather than retired. Afterall, the B-52 is still around and it carries 5,000 lbs less payload.  That is true except there is a conjecture about the B-1 Lancer being able to possibly carry up to 125,000 lbs of armament of bombs and missiles.

That reminds me. The B-1 in called the Lancer. The newest F-15 or the F-15EX is called the Eagle II. And in this drawing the aircraft are flying above the clouds where they can fly the fastest. Of course the Eagle II fighters are escorting the Lancer so the fighters would not be going their top speed - which is about 2 x the top speed of the bomber.

Mother Nanotyrannus at Hatching Time

This is my free coloring page blog with thousands of drawings I have colored for you to print and color.

Today's new drawing is of a type of Tyrannosaur called Nanotyrannus.

Mother Nanotyrannus at Hatching Time

Nanotyrannus is or was a smaller species of Tyrannosaur. It was 15 to 18 feet or 4.5 to 6.6 meters long. It weighed 1000 to 1550 lbs or massed at 450 to 700 meters. It lived as a contemporary predator at the same time as T. rex.

Some paleontologists have postulated that Nanotyrannus was a juvenile T. rex. More recent studies ahve confirmed that it was its own unique species. It probably preyed on smaller animals so that it did not directly compete with the much larger cousin Tyrannosaurus rex. Nanotyrannus was probably covered or at least partially covered with feathers or hair-like protofeathers.

NOTE: This drawing in printable form is found by clicking on the button labeled "Paleontology" and then scrolling down to the bottom of the Mesozoic Life section. IF you are accessing this site in late January or February 2026, then you will find the title to this drawing at or near the bottom of the list of paleontology drawings.

Jesus is Mourning for Jerusalem coloring page

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today I am posting a drawing I did of Jesus.

In this drawing He is mourning for Jerusalem.

Jesus is mourning for Jerusalem

You could call Jesus the greatest prophet. Of course, he also was and is the Son of God. He knew what was going to happen to Jerusalem 30+ years later. He prophesied of the destruction, and He mourned for the people that would be in Jerusalem when it was going to be defeated and destroyed by a superior Roman army. Jesus did not delight in the suffering that would come on the Jews and others who would be living in Jerusalem.

Jesus came to Earth as the Son of God. He could die because of His mortal mother, Mary. Yet he had power over death because of His Father in Heaven being the Father of His temporal body. Of course, we are all spirit children of our Heavenly Parents. But Jesus was the Only Begotten in the flesh. Jesus taught the people about being kind and unselfish. Yet He also stood up to the leaders who were hypocrites. Yet Jesus' main task on Earth was to suffer and die for our sins. Then He was resurrected and made it possible for all of us to be resurrected one day. We will be resurrected with immortal bodies that will be free of imperfections and illness, etc.

NOTE: This drawing will be posted on the printable section of this blog. Just click on the "Religious" button and scroll down to the bottom of the "New Testament" section. Have fun coloring this drawing.

Three Cliff Fairies coloring pages

Today on this site, my free coloring pages blog,

I am posting 3 drawings I have done of Cliff Fairies.

These are printable coloring pages to be printed and colored at home.

Rosia the Desert Cliffrose Fairy

Cliff Fairies live high up on cliffs. They can transform to mortal size, like these three in this post. They are lookouts and watch for danger and often help keep animals safe. This first Cliff Fairy is a Cliffrose Fairy because HER village is located under a cliffrose plant that is growing out of the cliff. Almost all Fairies live under trees or plants - meaning underground in hollowed-out caverns that have high technology and magic mixed. These villages are beautiful, and the Fairies have to be their natural size to be there.  That size is around 5 inches tall or so.

The dark stains on the rock are magnesium stains. These stains are found in the red-rock desert of the Southwest in the United States, including here in Southern Utah.

Savannah the African Cliff Fairy

On bluffs that overlook parts of the Savannah in Africa, it is where the African Cliff Fairies live. They keep watch over the wildlife, and in fact, they help the mortal authorities find poachers. They have also known to use their own magic to discourage poachers who are after rhinos and elephants. The stupidity of thinking that rhino horns are somehow magical is something that is disgusting to the Fairy community.  The Fairies KNOW magic, and magic isn't from rhinoceros hours.

Fairies are often friendly with elephants, and the ivory trade is just as disgusting to Fairies as the trade in rhino horns. You will never find a Fairy of Light with an ivory wand. There are a very few Dark Fairies who use ivory wands.

Papilia the Two-Tailed Swallowtail Cliff Fairy

Papilia is from my neck of the woods. She lives high up in the Utah mountains. Her wings mimic the wings of the Two-Tailed Swallowtail butterfly. The Two-Tailed Swallowtail butterfly lives high up in the Rocky Mountains - including here in the high parts of the Utah mountain ranges. Their scientific name is Papilio multicaudata.  This name refers to them being butterflies with more than one tail on each wing. Obviously, they have two tails on each wing. One tail is longer than the other.

You may notice that Papilia is not a slender Fairy. Many artists only draw or paint tiny, slender Fairies. Those drawings are fine. But Fairies come in many sizes and colors... or in many races, in fact.

Obviously, the second two drawings are done from the summer perspective. Those two Fairies are wearing summer outfits to stay cool. Although Fairy Magic can also help Fairies keep warm or cool.
Many Fairies like to wear living plant matter for their clothing. All three of these Fairies are wearing outfits made of woven leaves and/or woven plants like grass.

NOTE: These three drawings can be found in printable form by clicking on the "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus" button. Then scroll down to the bottom of the list of drawings. If you are accessing this page in late January or February 2026, then these coloring pages' titles will be further up the list.  Have fun coloring these free coloring pages. There are no fees.

Giant Squid hunted by a Sperm Whale math counting picture puzzle & coloring page

Today's new coloring page drawing is of a Giant Squid being hunted by a Sperm Whale.

It is also a math or counting picture puzzle

This is my free coloring pages blog. I have drawn over

3000 pictures for you to print and color. Have fun coloring!

Giant Squid hunted by a Sperm Whale

Sperm Whales are one of the biggest carnivores on the planet. They are possibly the biggest true carnivores because, unlike blue whales, sperm whales don't eat plankton. Sperm whales eat giant squid. Sperm whales are the largest toothed predators since they have teeth instead of baleen. These giant squid that sperm whales eat can be up to 43 feet or 13 meters long. That's the females. The males are a bit smaller at 33 feet or 10 meters long.  A sperm whale can be up to 66 feet or 20 meters long. They can weigh up to 57 tons.

See if you can count the number of different ocean species in this drawing.  Can you name, or basically name, the different types of animals? Then count how many total individual animals there are in the drawing. Answers located below.

NOTE: This drawing, in printable form, is found by clicking on the button labeled "Animals." Just click on the Animals button, then scroll down to the bottom of the list. If you are accessing this page in January or 2026 or February 2026, then the title of this drawing will be at or near the bottom of the list of coloring page drawings.

Jesus praying in the Mountains coloring page Also, the importance of communing with God in Nature

You have found or re-found my free coloring pages blog.

Today's free coloring page is a drawing I did of Jesus praying in the mountains.

Jesus goes to the Mountains to Pray

Being the God of Nature, I think Jesus loved communing with God the Father, while in Nature. Jesus created the Earth, and He was incredibly powerful, even as a sort of mortal. In fact, Jesus was a willing sacrifice. He could have used His power to stop the illegal trial and even to come down from the cross. But Jesus loved us so much that He had volunteered, in our premortal life, to suffer and die for our sins.

Because of Jesus' atonement, we can be forgiven for our sins if we choose to repent and strive to do better. Then, because of His resurrection, we all will be resurrected one day.

I also want to say that getting out in Nature is good for our souls. Hiking, fishing, hunting, birding, Nature photography, mountain biking, etc., get you out in Nature. There is an excellent book called  Last Child In The Woods that talks about how important being in Nature is to our kids and us.  And obviously, being in Nature was important to our Savior as well.

In my religion, me being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we have the event of Joseph Smith going out into Nature to pray. He wondered which church was true. So, he went out early in the morning of a spring day into Nature... namely, a grove of woods near his father's farm. When he prayed, Joseph was visited by God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Our understanding is that the Word (Jesus) made the world, under the direction of His Father in Heaven. In fact, we are all spirit children of our Heavenly Parents. In our premortal life, Jesus was our eldest spirit brother.

NOTE: This drawing is found in printable form by clicking on the button labeled "Religious." Then scroll down to the bottom of the New Testament section. There are a LOT of New Testament drawings, because I like drawing Jesus.   Below is a previously posted drawing of Joseph Smith and his first vision where he saw Heavenly Father and Jesus in what we now call the Sacred Grove.

Shoebill Bird coloring page

This is my free coloring page blog.

Today's new coloring page drawing I have done for you is a Shoebill.

Shoebill wading in a Lake

Shoebills are amazing birds. They can be as tall as 5 feet. They can grab fish with their large bills. There is a sharp spike on the end of their bill that acts like a spear for spearfishing. These birds are found in Africa. They have a very unique sound. They clack the top and bottom half of their bill together to make a lound sound that resembles a machine gun sound.

NOTE: To find this drawing in printable form, just click on the "Birds" button. Then scroll down to the bottom of the list of birds. If you are accessing this blog in early 2026, then you will find the title of this picture at or near the bottom of the list. New drawings are placed at the bottom of the list. Have fun coloring this unique bird in its natural habitat!

New Raptor Dinosaur from Denmark coloring page

This is my free coloring page blog.

Today's new drawing is of a newly discovered raptor dinosaur from Denmark.

Dromaeosauroides and Caulkicephalus

This drawing is of two Early Cretaceous Period animals. One is possibly one of the very earliest Raptor dinosaurs. The other is a Pterosaur. Both lived in what is now Europe. The Raptor lived in what is now Denmark.

Dromarosauroides was around 7-10 feet long or 2-3 meters long. It had that killer toe claw and may have been the first dinosaur to have that.

The Pterosaur had a wingspan of 16.5 feet or 5 meters wide. So, the one in this picture is a ways off in the distance.

NOTE: This drawing is found in printable form by clicking on the button labeled "Paleontology." Then scroll down to the bottom of the Mesozoic Life section. If you are accessing this in January of 2026 then this drawing's title will be at or near the bottom of the Mesozoic part of the list.

I also want to add that Leonardo DaVinci said that an artists never completes a work of art, they abandon it.  Although I don't have his talent... I agree with that saying. I decided to UN-abondon this drawing because I realized the snout was too short on the raptor dinosaur. I also added a Eurotitan Sauropod dinosaur in the background.

Flying Dragon coloring page

This is my free coloring pages blog.

I have drawn for you over 3000 coloring pages.

Wyvern Dragon Flying High

This type of dragon is called a Wyvern. They are a type of dragon with wings and two legs. Some people do not consider them true dragons because they do not have four legs.

NOTE:  This drawing in printable form is found by clicking on the "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus" button. Then scroll down to the bottom of the list of drawings. If you are accessing this in January 2026 then the drawing will be at or near the bottom of the list of drawings. Have fun coloring this dragon!

Angel playing Her Harp coloring page

This is my free coloring pages blog.

I drew for you today a Heavenly drawing.

Angel playing Her Harp

My granddaughter asked me to draw an angel playing a harp. So here it is. I actually don't believe that angels have wings. I wonder if the glory around angels can LOOK like wings. I also doubt that angels live on clouds. I actually believe that angels assigned to this planet are all souls who came to or will come to this planet. This is based on the knowledge of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Before we lived with mortal bodies, we lived as spirit children of our Heavenly Parents. We lived in what is called the Premortal Life, or sometimes called the Preexistence. Our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother sent us to Earth as a test and to receive mortal bodies. When we die, our spirit goes to the Spirit World, where we are judged for temporary placement. Good people go teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to other spirits. Good people go to Paradise while evil people must go to Spirit Prison to pay the price for the sins they did not repent of. People in Paradise repented and were cleansed through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. By the way, Jesus was there in the Premortal Life, too. He was our elder brother and volunteered to be our Savior and to pay the eternal price for our sins... so that we could be forgiven.

Eventually, we are resurrected and face the final judgement. Then we are assigned to one of three Kingdoms of Glory. The Celestial Kingdom, The Terrestrial Kingdom, or the Telestial Kingdom. VERY evil people will be assigned to Outer Darkness. To learn more, contact missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

NOTE: This drawing is found by clicking on the button labeled "Religious" and then scrolling down to the last drawing in "General Religious."  Have fun coloring the angel and her heart. Also, feel free to make this a colorful drawing. At the very least the clouds (I think) should be multicolored and beautiful to look out, not gray and dreary.  In fact, notice that they are "Happy Clouds." (Thank you, Bob Ross!)

Bakiribu, a Filter Feeder Pterosaur from Brazil coloring page

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing or coloring page is of a newly discovered Pterosaur from Brazil.

Bakiribu, a Filter Feeder Pterosaur from Brazil

This Pterosaur was a filter feeder. It had a large beak with tiny hair-like teeth like baleen in a whale's mouth. So Bakiribu ate tiny things like krill, blue-green algae, plankton, etc. It did not eat fish like most Pterosaurs.

Bakiribu was discovered in a "regurgitite" or fossilized vomit. (Yuck!)  The regurgitite had fish bones as well, and it is thought that the Pterosaur was eaten by a Spinosaur. Spinosaurs, like Spinosaurus, were primarily fish eaters or piscivores. Apparently, a Spinosaur caught the Bakiribu when the Pterosaur was feeding in the water.

Paleontologists are not sure of the size of Bakiribu. It was probably a medium-sized Pterosaur with a wingspan of something like 10-15 feet. That is 3-5 or so meters. The name "Bakiribu" means
"comb" in Kariri, an indigenous language of eastern Brazil. Sadly, that language is no longer spoken. The Pterosaur was named "comb" because its mouth had comb-like teeth for filter feeding in the water.

NOTE: This coloring page I drew for you can be printed by clicking on the button labeled "Paleontology." Then scroll down to this title. It will be found at the bottom of the Mesozoic Life section. Have fun coloring this unique Pterosaur.

House Finch coloring page

This is my free coloring pages blog.

Today the new drawing is from a photo I took near our home.

It is a drawing of a House Finch.

House Finch on a Branch

My House Finch photo

This drawing is based on the photo I took on our daily walk. Obviously, the drawing is only based on the photo, not exact. We see this House Finch frequently. The photo was taken near sunset, so the light is not great, so the orange colors are not clear. But we could see the orange with our naked eyes. If you look up House Finch, you will see the colors better. I am pretty sure this is a male bird. They have an orange stripe on their head above their eye. The males also have an orange upper chest. The House Finch is around 5 3/4 to 6 inches long. That is 14-15 cm. Their range is from Washington State down to the Baja Peninsula and over to Texas; then from the West Coast over to the Midwest USA, & on to New England. My wife Laurel and I are birders, so we notice birds.

NOTE: This drawing is found in a printable form by clicking on the "Birds" button, then scrolling down to the bottom of the list of bird pictures. Click on this title, and you will get your House Finch coloring page.  Have fun coloring!

Lexia the Paint Unicorn Fairy coloring page

So, you have found or refound this, my free coloring pages blog.

I, Robin Lyman, have drawn over 3000 coloring pages for you to print and color.

Today I drew a Paint Unicorn with her Fairy Friend, Lexia.

Lexia the Paint Unicorn Fairy

Fairies are often friends with Unicorns. In fact, some Fairies and Unicorns are BEST friends. That is the case with Lexia and Pintada. Lexia is a Unicorn Fairy, and Pintada is her best friend, a Paint Unicorn Fairy. Of course, you are seeing Lexia in full mortal size. Like all Fairies, Lexia can transform to mortal size.  Her natural Fairy size is about 5 inches tall.

You should know that Lexia and Pintada both love animals and seek to take care of them. Lexia even works in the mortal world when she is not in the Fairy Realm. She works with animals, and they love her. I have seen this firsthand.  Of course, almost all Fairies love animals. And pretty much all Unicorns love Fairies and other animals. However, realize that Unicorns are sentient beings like mortal humans, Fairies, Elves, Dwarfs, and Merpeople. Since Unicorns do not have the vocal structure to talk, they communicate with Fairies telepathically.

Like most Fairies, Lexia is very beautiful. But much of that beauty rests inside - that is, she is a very kind and good Fairy and kindness and goodness ARE beautiful.

Unicorns are also considered beautiful and part of that is Unicorns are Creatures of Light. They too are good and kind.

Let me explain that this drawing was done rather quickly tonight with not a lot of detail. The wings are lacewings, and they are translucent - almost transparent. Also, Paint Unicorns have the magical power to change their spots to different colors. You might see a Paint Unicorn IF you are very special. And you may see them with several different colors of spots, like a Rainbow Unicorn. OR you may see them with only one color of spots, like a typical paint horse.

Eve giving Adam the Forbidden Fruit coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

I am doing something different this year. I hope to have an illustration to go along with the study schedule

of the Old Testament that

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is doing this year.

Hence, today's drawing, which was done during Sunday School,

is of Adam and Eve.

Eve gives Adam the Forbidden Fruit

Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden in an immortal state. They were commanded not to partake of the Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, or there would be consequences. Eve partook of the fruit first, then she gave some to Adam. This made them both mortal and subject to death. They were sent out into the world to live by the sweat of their brow... meaning they would have to work.
This decision was actually a wise and knowing decision they made so that they could have children and have a mortal existence and test here on Earth.

NOTE: This coloring page can be printed by clicking on the button labeled "Religious." Then, scroll down to the last title in the Old Testament section.  There are a few other drawings of Adam and Eve.

Allosaurus Close-Up coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

There are well over 3000 drawings I have done as coloring pages.

Feel free to print and color them.

Today, we have a new drawing of Allosaurus.

Allosaurus Close-Up

It has been a while since I posted one of my dinosaur drawings. So today I drew one of my favorite Theropods, Allosaurus. Allosaurus was an extremely successful genus of large predatory or Theropod dinosaurs. They grew up to 40 feet long. Although similar to a T. rex, Allosaurus lived in the Jurassic Period around 155-145 million years ago. T. rex appeared 72 million years ago in the late Cretaceous Period. So, these two dinosaurs were separated in time by 73 million years. Therefore, Tyrannosaurus lived closer to OUR time than it did to Allosaurus. Isn't that interesting?

Allosaurus was a top predator, although there were a few other Theropods, like Torvosaurus. Allosaurs mostly were around 2500 lbs; however, some may have grown up to 4500 lbs. This was significantly lighter than T. rex. But again, T. rex never ran into an Allosaurus.

On this close-up drawing, notice that you can see the marks of the fenestra in the skull. These fenestra were holes in the skull that made the skull lighter and gave powerful muscles places to attach. Allosaurus had a smaller skull than T. rex, and it had much larger and more useful arms with three deadly claws for grappling with prey.

Many modern reptiles have stripes or spots, so I gave this Allosaurus spots. The small dinosaur in the background is a Dryosaurus and it has stripes. It was a small herbivore Iguanodont with a weight of only 175-200 lbs.

NOTE: This drawing is available in printable form by clicking on the "Paleontology" button. Then scroll down to the bottom of the "Mesozoic" section. Click on the title and you can print the coloring page that I drew today just for you.  Have fun coloring!
