Today's new drawing that I have done for this free coloring page blog is of
McKayliah a Unicorn Fairy.
McKayliah the Unicorn Fairy
McKayliah is a Unicorn Fairy. This means that she is very friendly with Unicorns. Actually, almost all Fairies get along with Unicorns but some Fairies specialize in Unicorns. McKayliah is one of those types of Fairies.
Not surprising is that she gets along with horses as well. She knows that some Unicorns will run with the wild horses sometimes. MOST mortals only see a horse but Fairies and a select few mortals can see Unicorns among the herd of "horses."
Unicorns are incredibly intelligent. Horses are also more intelligent than most people are aware of. But Unicorns are actually so intelligent that they are sentient beings like humans, Fairies, Dwarfs, Elves, and Merpeople. You can include some Dragons in that list of sentient beings.
McKayliah likes to teach mortals about horses. Sometimes she goes to mortal size and internalizes her wings to teach mortals how to ride and care for horses. Because she is so kind, this includes helping mortals who have had traumatic experiences, etc. Riding horses helps them find some peace. Once in a while, the mortals who are particularly traumatized are riding a Unicorn. Unicorns are very kind and have lots of white magic so they really help soothe the souls of traumatized mortals. Of course, the mortal rarely is aware that he or she is riding a Unicorn.
The Unicorn uses his or her magic to hide their horn. The Unicorns actually can talk telepathically to Fairies and to a very few humans. Being empaths, the Unicorns can sense the troubled spirit of a mortal a Fairy, or any other sentient being. Then while being ridden the Unicorn can telepathically soothe the troubled feelings of their rider. The mortals really are unaware but they benefit greatly.
Many horses are part Unicorn. But the offspring of a Unicorn and a horse rarely have a horn. However, the offspring DO get a lot of their Unicorn parent's intelligence. These part Unicorn horses are the type of horse that bonds strongly to the human (or Fairy) that is their particular friend. I once had an experience with one of these part Unicorn horses. She was a filly. She was not quite big enough to ride. She was owned by my niece. More appropriately she was the particular friend of my niece. When the other horses were taken to be ridden by my brother-in-law and my daughter, Suzie the filly started to cry. She laid her chin on my shoulder and I heard the words in my head, "They left me behind!" She basically cried on my shoulder for quite some time. Her happiness was restored when the other horses returned.
