Wooly Rhino and other Steppe Animals coloring pages

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

Today's new drawing is of a Wooly Rhinocerous... A.K.A. Wooly Rhino.

(By the way, I reworked this drawing and made the hump bigger.)

Wooly Rhinos lived about 5.3 million years ago to 11,700 years ago.  They were herbivores and lived in tundra and steppe areas.  There is some evidence that some of this ancient megafauna were killed off by early Man.  There WAS a North American Rhino but it was not wooly.  It was called Teloceras.

(not necessarily a steppe animal)

NOTE:  This drawing can be found, in printable form, by clicking on the button labeled Paleontology.  Then scroll down to the bottom of the Cenozoic Life section.... because new drawings are at the bottom of the correct part of the drop-down menu list.   Below is a wooly mammoth hunt drawing as well.  The mammoth drawing and the Teloceras drawing, in printable form are found further up the list.
