The Greek God Apollo

For regulars, sorry it's been a few days since I posted.  I had surgery.

Thanks for your prayers!  I am not great, but doing OK, more or less.

Today, I am posting a non-traditional drawing of the Greek God Apollo.

This drawing was inspired by one of my kind and skilled caregivers at the hospital.

Apollo with Sword and Shield

Apollo is the name of a High Greek God.  He was or is considered the God of several things, including Archery. He is often depicted with a bow.  But he is sometimes depicted with a sword called the Apollian Blade.  Apollo is also considered the God of the Sun, God of Poetry, God of Healing, God of Art, God of Prophecy.  He is also the God of Music and is frequently depicted with a harp. Because this is a kind of portrait, I limited the backgroud in the drawing.
