Desert Fairies coloring pages

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog!

Today's free coloring page is a drawing of Annia, an Arizona Desert Fairy

Annia the Arizona Desert Fairy

Annia is a Desert Fairy.  More specifically she is an Arizona Desert Fairy.  (Notice the Saguaro Cactus.)  Annia is beautiful, in all ways.  You see, most Fairies know that we are only as beautiful as our personality.  Aniia is beautiful on the outside but she is also beautiful on the inside.  She is kind, unselfish, and a good Christian in every way.  (Yes, many Fairies are Christian.  They converted when Christian missionaries made it to where they lived in Northern Europe and the British Isles around 1100 A.D.  Eventually, the European Fairies migrated to America and other places all over the world and brought Christianity to the other Fairies.)

Most Fairies can transform from Fairy size to mortal size or any size in between.  In this drawing, Annia is mortal size.  Notice the small Kangaroo Rat nearby.  Desert Fairies in the Southwestern USA and Mexico are often friendly with the local Kangaroo Rats.

I should mention that Annia has a name that comes from ancient Rome.  So it is Latin.  "Annia" means "Priceless One."  This beautiful name has only rarely made it to the modern world among mortals, but it is more common among Fairies.  Of course, the Fairies live among us in hidden tiny communities generally under and in tree roots.  And some Fairies come to study and work with mortals... and we never know because Fairy magic allows them to hide their beautiful wings and cute pointed ears from us.

NOTE:  This drawing, in printable form, can be found by clicking on the "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus" button and then scrolling down.  New drawing titles are at the bottom of the drop-down menu.  Just click on the title and you will get your printable drawing of Annia.  Below are some older drawings of other Desert Fairies.  These are older drawings so they will be found further up the printables list.   Let me add that as an artist, I have gotten better since I drew some of the below drawings.
