Concavenator & Europejara Two Animals of Spain in the Mesozoic

 Today, on this free coloring pages blog, I am posting

a Coloring Page drawing I did of two Mesozoic Animals that 

lived in what is now Spain.

Concavenator & Europejara Mesozoic Animals from Spain

These two animals were from what is now Spain. They lived in the Early Cretaceous Period.  Concavenator was a fairly large and unusual Theropod predator. It was up to 20 feet (6 meters) long. It had an unusual sail as well as some feathers. Feather evidence was on the elbows of the arms.   The sail had some sort of use in thermal regulation, species identification, or maybe sexual selection. Concavenator was a smaller relative of Cacharodonosaurus. 

Europejara was a medium to Pterosaur. It had a rather large flat crest that it probably used like a rudder for steering. It had a wingspan of up to 13 feet or 4 meters. It was a toothless fish-eater.
