These drawings were done by me, Robin Lyman.

Today's new drawing is of a Fairy taking a ride on a Galapagos Tortoise.
Fairy Riding On Young Galapagos Tortoise
First of all, this is a young or juvenile Galapagos Tortoise. It is a cactus eater. A local Fairy is going on a ride on this baby, but not quite a newly hatched tortoise.
There are several species of Galapagos tortoises. Some have a particularly long neck that evolved for them to stretch high to reach food. This is one of those.
This Fairy, named Adelia, is also a Butterfly Fairy. The wings are similar on the Fairy and the butterfly.
The Fairy is, of course, a Galapagos Fairy. She loves tortoises. She has an incredibly long lifespan, so this Fairy will live to see this tortoise grow old. Galapagos tortoises can live to up to 120 years. Since the Galapagos Islands are part of Ecuador, this Fairy is fluent in the main Fairy language of Latin, but she is also fluent in Spanish. So, I will be posting this in Spanish as well.
