Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.
Today's new drawing is of a fairly large, but not huge Theropod
dinosaur from Argentina called Viavenator.
Viavenator the Road Hunter Dinosaur
Viavenator means Road Hunter. It was a Theropod dinosaur from the late Cretaceous around 80 million years ago. It had a shorter snout so it may have been related to Carnotaurus. Viavenator was around 18 feet or 5.6 meters long. The fossil was found in the Bajo de la Carpa formation in Argentina. Since it was not huge it is thought to have been a hunter of medium and small dinosaurs. Of course, at 18 feet long it was not exactly tiny.
