Welcome to my blog. To my regular readers, I apologize for not
posting for several days. I have had a rough time health-wise
and I spend some time in an ER 100 miles from home
and 2 different appointments
with excellent medical specialists.
I'm doing better now, however, I can hardly speak at all.
Today's new drawing is of Thumbalina's daughter.
The model for this was an excellent waitress who took care
of us at a restaurant while we were away from home.
Thumbelina's Daughter
Thumbelina is a story by Hans Christain Anderson. It is a fairytale first published in 1835. In the story, Thumbelina rejects marriage offers from various small animals and eventually marries a Flower Fairy. This first picture is what their daughter, Emilia looked like, being half mini-mortal and half Fairy.

It is of Thumbelina herself. Quite honestly I've gotten better as an artist since I drew the below picture.
