More Mermaid Coloring Pages

Welome to my free coloring pages blog!

Today's new drawings are of two Mermaids.

Katariniah the Mermaid comes to the Beach

(New Drawing today)

Katariniah is a Beach Mermaid.  She can, like some Merpoeple, change into her human form to walk the beach.  Here she has yet to transform into her human form.  She has just arrived at the shore or beach.  She will change form and start to walk the beach and help clean in up and keep it safe.

Corallia the Mermaid by some Giant Coral

(Another New Drawing today)

Corillia, as her name implies, is a Coral Reef Mermaid.  She is underwater in this drawing.  She helps protect the organisms that live at the coral reef... including the coral, of course.  Recently a giant coral complex was found on the Great Barrier Reef of Australia that was 10 meters wide.  That is almost 33 feet wide!  Corillia is resting her elbow on the giant coral reef.  Remember that coral is not a rock nor a plant.  It belong to the Animal Kingdom.

Merpeople are closely related to the Water Fairies like River Fairies and Lake Fairies.  You could even say that Mermaids and Mermen are actually a type of Fairy.

You might notice that both Corillia and Katariniah both have navels.  This shows that although Merpeople appear to be cold blooded fish, they are actually warm blooded marine mammals.

NOTE:  These two top drawings are found, in printable form, by clicking on the button labeled: Fantasy, Myths, and Circus.  Then scroll to the bottom of the drop-down menu.  There are a few other Mermaids, a Stream Fairy, and a River Fairy drawings below... from previous posts.  These older draiwngs are found,, in printable form, on the same list... but further up the list.
