Clark's Grebe at Cutler Reservoir coloring page

Welcome to my free coloring pages blog.

There are over 1200 free coloring pages to print and color.

Today's new drawing is two waterfowl and the species is called Clark's Grebe.

Clark's Grebe

Clark's Grebe is a species of waterfowl that live from Mexico to southern Canada and all over many parts of the United States of America.  They live here in Utah and all over the Intermountain West.  They have feathers that are black, white, and gray.  If you see where I drew the birds gray, that is where they should be colored either black or gray.  I would look at a photo of some to determine the coloring. Their bills are orange and their legs are yellowish.  These grebes live primarily in freshwater, although they are also found in coastal ocean water.  These birds are about 25 inches or 63.5 cm. long.

In this drawing, both of the birds are swimming in a reservoir on a windy day.  We went to Cutler Reservoir today.  It is located west-northwest of Logan, Utah.  I took photos of the birds, who were actually in different parts of the lake, but I drew them together.

NOTE:  This drawing can be found, in printable form, by clicking on the button labeled: Birds. Then scroll down to the bottom because new drawings are at the bottom of the lists.  Below are the two photos I used to inspire this drawing,  Both birds are Clark's Grebe.
